Here's some more info about Pokémon Colosseum from The Magic Box

Nintendo announced Pokemon Colosseum for GameCube, the sequel to the popular battle game Pokemon Stadium. This time the game will feature new Pokemons from Ruby & Sapphire versions, and the game supports up to 4 players simultaneously, you can connect your GBAs to the system using the link cable. Pokemon Colosseum also allows 2 VS 2 battles like in Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire.

Well, at least the trainers are present. I had no idea how the old unobtainables showed up. Did the game include them?

They're a bit clearer, but god!

1) Typholsions mane of fire is like.. craptastic. I could kick it and it go spinning off like a cardboard frill.

2) HAHAHAHHAHAHHAA WAILORD GOT SHOCKED XD!! That struck me as funny.

3) I don't like Groudon. Its already unfortunate its body looks like a mudcracked mudflat, but with the polygons looking like they do, it looks like they were EXTRA lazy with it.

4) I like that Ice Beam from Kyogre.

5) May just be perspective, but umm... yeah..Slaking..looks tiny. So does Mega, actually.

6) No. Sceptile does not look like a crouching raptor; it looks like he is trying to germinate from his posterior, but can't cause his tail is too heavy and is in the way.


But a Stadium game is a Stadium game. Whatever works. I'm not even worrying about the unobtainables as of yet, cause I dun got a GC >_> Once Price drops, then we'll be talking.



One last thing: Anyone else think Exploud looks like a set of Dijjeridoos(?)

Pikachu looks the same as PS2(PKMN Stadium, not Playstation)
Wailord's mouth looks like it fell off and they glued it back on...
Blazeiken's feet arn't touching the ground.....
Groudon looks like the old cube drawings....

Maybe it will be fun, but it isn't one of the best graphic games..

those screenshots are no thanks. cell shading would have been sweet for pokemon. anyway at least there not N64 graphics.

Actually, if you look closely you'll see it's little claws poking out from under the "flares"

Actually, while it LOOKS like his feet are touching the ground, no computer technology has perfected human movement. His feet aren't really touching the ground. Look in any computer animated anything. A good example is SW Rogue Squadron II--the ATATs' feet don't touch the ground.

Gorudon looks like it was being cel-shaded then changed their minds, septile is just desturbing and the oldies look like they did in N64. Oh well. If i can get my old team over, I'll be happy.

would someone whos following this a bit closer than me please please PM me or AIM me if there are rumors or confirmed 2v2 in this game... hopefully a 2v2 cup or division? anyways, i would appreciate it very much, thank you...

edit: taking a closer look i realize there are a fewof the screenshots w/2v2 or so it appears... but id just like actual hard proof... like nintendo saying "yes g_m there will be 2v2 and gligar will also be available, now quit threatening us" etc.
