The weather is not favorable...nor is the arena. Right now, there is a lull in the battle, and two people decide to have a Pokemon battle. Fools...don't they know planes can bomb any moment? Well anyway, I'm out here as well reffing, so I'm prolly crazier than them both.

Anyway, Miniryu and Pidgeon show off their awesome synergy by flying up to gain an aerial advantage. Snow and Fleece watch their targets go skyward, and both shoot a blast of their respective types up at the duo. On Pidgeon's back, Mini looks over and gives the call. Just then, a barrier melds around them both, defelcting the Ice Beam and the Thunderwave in a veil of white and yellow.

Snowshine steps back, and lets Fleece do her thing. Now, it's already raining here, but the dance does something strange. The rain becomes a torrential downpour! Air tacticitans note the change in weather and a roar erupts, as the trenchs are suddenly alive with activity and people covering supplies.

Unexpected of course, the fliers swoop in, now realizing how hard it was raining now. Pidgeon realizes this is dangerous to fly in, and flies in low. Mini keeps her eeys peeled until she makes out Fleece's puffy mass. Fleece spots the floating blue serpent and freaks as shes hit with a splat of purple goo. Pidgeon however, can't spot Snowshine for the moment. A roar comes over the horizon, as a flood of frosty enhnaced ground and rocks and barbed wire fence comes in a mudslide of sorts. Pidgeon is swept in it and Miniryu gets smothered under it. Snowshine smirks, happy to have caught them both. Until a goo splatters on her. Pidgeon didn't forget..

Flapping out of the Avalanche, Pidgeon finally spots the waddling red bird and wastes no time in speeding toward her. Snow didn't even see it coming. She went sliding across the Mud like it was a Slip-n-Slide.

Fleece saw a red streak pass her and she turned around, to see a blue flash fly at her, ramming into her side. Rolling on his side, the wool stopped her from sliding too far. From her vantage point, she could make out the half fluttering, half hopping Pidgeon and blasted off a Thunderbolt. Pidgeon had no chance, the water super accelerated the bolt, and knocked him on his side.

It was then that a chilling wind came through the storm, and Miniryu shivered at its passing. That was uncalled for, it was cold enough here.

Asi rubbed her hands together and pulled out an umbrella. "Bloody british weather..." she muttered, then shrugged. "Well, it IS my fault, anyway..." She peered over through the dreary rain towards where Rossy was instructing his pokemon. "Seems like he really hates Snowshine, Fleece. What say you teach him not to ignore you? First put up a Light Screen around you and Snowshine, cut any damage that might get through. The use Charge in preparation for the Thunder that you will unleash on that annoying bird!" She smiled slightly before turning to her next pokemon.

"As for you..." Asi though a moment, going over what she knew Rossy was preparing for her tiny penguin. "Well we might be able to do something here after all. First lob off a Gunk Shot at the Dratini. Then use Fly to get above the Ominous Wind. Wait until he fails at his Fire Punch before completing the Fly and dive bombing him!"

As the battle for Britian rages anew, Miniryu and Pidgeon continue their full frontal assault. Fleece bounds into view in front of Snowshine just in time and sparks large enugh to create a self sustaining shield that barely-and I mean barely-blocks that Thunder from doing some serious hurt to Snowshine.

The Ninja stars fired by Pidgeon were deafened as well. Foul mouthed Snowshine though, fires off a mass of nasty. I dunno if that was just a collecton of ABC gum or what, but Miniryu hates it. Alot.

As Snowshine watches, Pidgeon and Miniryu regroup in the torrential downpour and combine their efforts into one hefty Ominous Wind gust. She takes to the sky, flapping her wings as well as she could, and evades the gusts. Fleece, is not so lucky. Bearing the pain, Fleece just charges up...

Pidgeon seems more confident as he flies a bit higher.

Waster or now, Fleece was not allowing Pidgeon any reprieve. The bird cawed in fear as a massive Thunderbolt rained from the heavens hurriedly, railing him to the muddy ground. Miniryu watched her partner fly on past, before looking up. In the sky, she could make out the red dot of the Delibird.

Flames were spewed as Delibird flew in for the Divebomb. Not fearing the outcome in this storm, Snowshine was able to evade the weakend flames and gut check the serpent. Meanwhile, Fleece feels very little from a rogue rain twsiter, thanks to that shield.

The rat with wings looked like it was about done, but the Dratini looked like it still had some fight left in it. "Ok Fleece, heres what we are going to do. First do a Thunder Wave at that Dratini. Then focus your attention on Pidgeon. Do a Thunderbolt at him and then follow it up with a nice strong Thunder."

...Seriously?

*ahem* Umm if you note the disdain in my voice, its because I noted what was commanded. Snowshine doves down through the rain and Splashes about joyfully. Seeing this rapture-Miniryu takes a moment, while staring at Fleece. Fleece can barely make out the serpent, and fires off a Thunderwave. Once the wave gets close, Miniryu dashes off across the muddy terrain, leaving the bolt to fizzle in the mud.

The tiny serpent crashes headlong into the splashfiend, tailwhipping and whiplashing it before flying off vertically-smushing the Delibird deep in the mud. Pidgeon flies by his elevated partner and swoops down over the Mareep. A light power escapses his wings and falls on Fleece's fleece.

Fleece feels some pain, and the spores lose some abiiity due to the heavy rain washing a good portion away, but we all can tell she's kinda posioned already.

Snowshine takes the battle serious and as Miniryu lands on the soft mud, she's met with a Punch to her serpentine form. She's knocked backwards, even as Pidgeon flies by, immediatly creating a Substitute and watching it plop on the muddy mass below. Recovering, Miniryu is able to create one and set it atop of Pidgeon's acting as a totem pole of sorts.

A rogue Thunderbolt comes and zaps the bejeezus out of the Pidgeon Sub, smashing it to pieces, to Pidgeon's dismay.

Plopping on the ground, the Dratini Sub still stands, and Miniryu looks over at the destroyed Sub with worry. Pidgeon knows this is going to hurt, and makes a beeline for a landing spot. His speed serves him well and he relaxes, only to be struck by a Thunder fro the heavens. I think though..he's still good.

Miniryu however, watches as a Blizzard rips on by and smashes the Sub he created. To retaliate, a massive energy expenditure is accumulated and flung down upon Fleece. Meteors slams and crash all over and onto the sheep, knocking her back a ways..into enemy lines. Thank heavens for that screen, huh?

Pidgeon is not liking this super shower anymore. But it seems to not be letting up. It does not help that a pantheon of electricity is soon to be bearing down on him. Storm clouds gather en masse as the first of Fleeces attack come bounding his way. Even with advanced speed, he's a sitting duck for that Thunderwave. Not one to slouch though, he launched te same attack right at Snowshine.

At the same time, Mini- in her tired state of mind, was relying on ehr swift fleeted partner. As the wave crashed over toward Snow, Mini made her move...and then realized it was the same move. Snowshine had no chance, but she tried anyway, to fire off that Aurora Beam. Paralysis did her in this time.

Snowshine takes a moment in the rain, as Fleece looks at this new predicament. She takes that risk, and forces a large Thunderbolt to go searing at Pidgeon. Pidgeon takes the hit and goes down hard...as Miniryu slithers over to see how ol Snowshine is doing. Not too good.

Paralysis is still ripping through her system, leaving her a sitting bird for both Mini's Ice Beam and Pidgeon's newly acquired Thunderbolt!

Glad that they seem to have had a turn of luck, Pidgeon anxiously looks to see Fleece charging up a small amount of electricity. Thinking it was tolerable, Pidgeon welcomes it. It...proves to be a bit much, as Pidgeon gets struck and realizes thats past his limit. Mini watches as Pidgeon falls from the sky, and then gets tagged backwards!

Snowshine finally stands, breathing heavily. But tis not to last, as Miniryu slithers across the mud, being orbited by orbs of mystical energy. They cascade off and into Snow, knocking the bird backwards with some force. That shield saved their butts.

The rain shows no true signs of wavering. But, it seems the tables have shifted, as Abu steps onto the muddy field. Instantly his coat is sloshed with water, and he looks back in disdain. Not cool. Fleece tries to captivte his attention, making her sloshy coat spray water as she romps about, but Abu begins to sing a horrid song.

Mini meanwhile, sits in a protective bubble as an Ice Beam crashes against it. Snow huffs, that was NOT how things were supposed to go down. That song is horrible as well.

Now with the clock ticking, Abu jumps near Mini, whom wriggles in place. Running over, Fleece tries to fire off a glob of Toxic spit at the quadruped, but a mystic veil falls around the pair of them in time. It was tricky though, as the veil completed, 4 Absols stepped aside from each other. Funny though. In the rain, clones don't seem to matter all to much.

However grand her success was, Mini didn't note the second Ice Beam coming her way. She rolled backwards, cold and tired of this battle.

For the moment, its two on one. Abu seems to have no fear, and runs at Fleece, its mouth harboring a bright light. FLeece points forward and fires off a smaller beam of red and blue mix at Abu. Abu jumps up towards the beam and releases his own white hot Hyper Beam, completly disintegrating the smaller beam and smashing Fleece all the way back to another bunker.

===Round 6===

The roar of the rain continues as this trench muddy battle takes off with a new competitor. Up to his fourth Pokemon, out hops Beroinga. Fleece and Snow take their positions, as it has become easier to see in this storm. Charging up massive amounts of electricity between the two of them, both Abu and Fleece let loose their attacks first.

Bero and Snowshine go fling backwards, shocked and sizzling. The icebird stands first tough, and releases an Avalanche of retalitory snow and rock to fall on Abu. Bero barely avoids it, by Rolling out of the way and slamming into Fleece! Fleece falls, dizzy from her poisoning, as Bero revs in the mud.

Bero now keeps moving, as Abu starts up a second Shock Wave. Snow gets struck first, as Bero rolls on past skidding and making a sharp left as she rolls. Fleece takes aim though and right as Bero hits Fleece, a Thunder rails down on his body, bouncing her away.

Oh! By the graces, the storm has passed. The rain has now turned back to a lighter drizzle-enhancing visibility greatly! But, we only see sadness as Fleece looks to Snow. Snow is out from the the match...WAIT...NO! Snow twitches! She chirps as she sits up and Abu freaks as a second Avalanche thunders down upon him.

Snowshine tries to get up, but that paralysis gets the best of her, and she falls to her knees. As such, the rolling Bero tries once more for a strike against Fleece. Fleece is charged and ready to fire, but feels a shortness of breath. Abu's charger flies free, and strikes Snow, knocking her on her back for good. Bero is able to slam into Fleece successfully, as a third Thunder rips through her hide.

Okay guys, begin with a double Swift attack on the clones. It'll get rid of the ones the rain didn't as well. The Abu, since your faster, use your own Flash and Bero, fight back by using a Brick Break when Eevee comes into range.

Finally, use Protect Abu whilst Bero uses a Surf attack. Wash them into the trenches!

===Round 7===

The rain has calmed, and Asi releases two newcomers simultaneously. Abu licks his lips as an Eevee steps out. Licki kinda looks...with blankness as a Nincada is spotted. Its funny though. Both newcomers nod to each other and split into 4 clones as wel. But umm, there's rain.

The clones are destroyed slightly as the light rain falls, and well, the Swifts that come from their competitors rail into each of them. Both Pokemon take a step back, miffed that setup didn't work.

Running forth now, Kaji gets used to the muddy ground as she barrels for Bero. Abu watches with relish, as the bug skitters over as well. A bright light radiates just then, followed by squeaking sounds of anger. Katty did is definitly blinded. She wanders to and fro, trying to find her target.

Kaji then yelps in pain, as he's uppercutted in his gut by Bero's tonguearm...but he was already in the air. Oh he had bounced off of the tubbiness from his Take Down. Seems to be ll goo-ACK!

REALLY >O! Another Flash! Geezus *rubs eyes*. Well Katty didn't blind Bero. She managed to blind Abu, who was still looking at her for some weird reason.

Still skittering around blind, Katty looks for Kaji to try and ground herself. Kaji growls and gets himself back up, only to see a swath of water and mud come up and wash into him, courtesy of Bero. As the wave washes close, Abu relaxes in a shield he created aorund himself. and that leaves poor blind Katy to be swept away as well.

But things turn aorund. Kaji lunges free of the Surf, as the mud filled the trenches, and gave Kaji some footing. Bero waits as Kaji runs up and slams his tail into Bero's feet, tripping him up. Bero falls tongue first in the mud.

Katy though, digs out, and only ends up cutting some boxes....poor girl.

Har har! I just love your reffing DL, it's so good! Also, 10% for a Pokemon that's weak against water and with added rain? Is Nincada a grass type by any chance?

Hmm...which one to kill first? Meh, I choose both.

Use another Protect Abu so Bero can use Surf again, that worked quite well. Then Bero, use a Water Pulse on the bug whilst Abu uses Thunder on the fluffball.

Finally, use a double Toxic attack...cos I've ran out of ideas.
