-However I do like Hypno's idea of needing a special Ball after defeating the Gym Leaders before going hunting. Probably a Master Ball without the high-catch ratio, the Legendary still needs to be battled and weakened in order for the ball to work.

How about after defeating a Gym Leader or two, you earn an Item called a "Legend Ball?" It has the highest capture rate of any 'fair' Pokeball (That is, anything OTHER than a Master Ball.), which puts it nearly on-par with a weakened Legendary Pokemon. I could make a custom graphic of it.

3)Only one Legendary on a team.
-While it's tempting to have multiples (I would like two, specifically), I think a single Legendary on the team will help stop everyone from having multiple Mews, Celebi's, and Azlef's. (Although a Rayquaza would be cool... ^^U)

4)New Areas in the Safari Zone
-Some Legendaries may show up in specific areas, while others could show up... ANYWHERE! But we could have some new zones open up because of...well, a lot of people exploring it.

I don't think this is really NECESSARY (Unless we need a volcano for Heatran/Moltres to hang out in...), but... eh.

-Legendaries show up depending on time of year
-Migratory
-Make it a specific yearly event where the Legendary shows up for about a week in the Safari Zone depending upon what seasonal event that legendary would be tied to (New Years for Jirachi, Anniversary of TPM or TPML with Celebi, Winter solstice for Articuno, First day of Winter for Suicune, ect...)

Here's a thought. When a person does catch a Lengendary- should they be tracked, like in some sort of magical new tower, like the shady organization of who has what. Because we wouldn't want to lose track of something like that, would be?

Equally, trading of lengendaries and renaming should take place in this mysterious shaddy Lengendary pokemon centre tower...because that be cool.

As a slight side-note from the legendary discussion. What do people think of eggs being found in the Safari Zone? Say if you saw a family of Delcatty and they had an egg, you could try and take it, and after you left the Safari Zone it would take the usual amount of days to hatch into a Skitty.

In a similar vein, maybe legendary eggs (afforementioned ones; Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy/Phione, Shaymin?) could be found rarely in the 'Zone, but may take a lot longer to hatch (a week, 10 days).

Okay, say we can collect eggs in the Saf Zone (I've been using families of some evolutions in there) will they require a use of our Poke Ball or.... Would they be worth it considering we can buy three Eggs for 2 points in the Egg Tower, as opposed to 2 points for one Pokeball?

While some of them are good, others (like Pick-up) are useless in battles (unless you're in the Saf Zone or we add some other exploratory aspect, which a lot of ppl seem to be against). If we could add the exploratory aspect, I'd still be against it because some abilities are horribly unbalanced and over-complicate the fight.

Oh- I kinda like that idea! Like I said before, all the Legendary pokemon have items that belong to them. Maybe in the Safari Zone, items could be spread out, or when you get all the badges that'll be your prize? And then you can summon them once- like a special move.

And once you use your item to summoned the pokemon, the item goes back into ciruculation...freeing the might beastie!

I don't much like the Legendary Egg idea. It kinda goes against a lot of current ideas (Legendaries being 1 of a kind, requiring a lot of work, etc.), plus it goes against the "Most Legendaries are one of a kind." clause. You couldn't find a Mewtwo Egg, for instance.

PLus, there's that non-Evolving little runt Phione to think about. Who'd wanna be stuck with THAT as their only Legendary?

Well, in all honesty, you don't HAVE to have a Legendary if you don't want one. It's another sense of flavor for the League. And why Ban Legendary in every battle? Don't you want the challenge? Even in the game, fairly common and well Moveseted PKMN can take on and knock out a Legendary with relative ease.

Only reason they're really a pain is because you want to catch them!

I agree some Pokemon wouldnt hatch from eggs, but the anime has shown multiple Lugia, presumably multiple Regis since they occured during Hoenn and Kanto, and Celebi's GS Pokedex did say it leaves an egg from the future wherever it goes.

But overall, the legendary egg might be a bit far, however it was good to throw it out I guess.

I don't support the legendary egg, and only one legendary per kind should be allowed in the entire ASB-community.

Also, legendaries have the same chance on a good movepool as any other pokemon. Considering that stats don't count in ASB, Zapdos can fall to an Onix just as easily. They are really just 'collectors-items'.

I respect the fact someone brought that notion up Mew, but I feel its too simplistic for the concept of legendary allocation. That and it favors the wealthy-which should never be the case here. Everyone should have a reasonable and decent chance to obtain a Lgendary-even though seeing or getting the Legendary on their own accord should be difficult.

But I really don't like the idea of Legendaries in ASB, I think it'd just upset the balance too much. I don't mind the idea of using them in a tournament though.

But if you were going to bring them in, unless it was Phione. Only one of each. And then only won through a tournament. Like a Winter Tournament, the winner gets either a RegiIce or Articuno.

But, I still oppose it. Simply because it makes the should be unobtainable - obtainable.
