As you move over to the tiny Swinub you give Athene a silent nod and she runs up to the pair of Snorunts giving the Swinub a hard time, picks them up and throws them into the cold water. Bending down to the Swinub you pull out your T.R.A.N.S Lator (Trouble.Rectifying.Absolute.Normal.Speech Lator courtesy of Sebastian.L.Coyle Industries) and put it around the tiny Swinub's neck. After a lenghty conversation with the Swinub you find out that he has lost his parents somewhere in the deep cave.

As you pick up the tiny Swinub you call upon Athene's psychic powers to try and locate the tiny Swinub's parents she points her finger towards the darkness of the cave with a myriad of intertwining tunnels. As you follow your psychic buddy you start to find a set of tracks, one seems to be a small set of paw prints, followed by a larger set followed by an even larger deeper drag mark seemed to be made by something extremely large. You look down at the Swinub who looks at you with a sad face, as you try and reassure it you hear a loud noise coming from further down the tunnels.

As you follow the drag marks along the winding tunnels the noise gets louder and louder till you can actually hear what is going on. From what you can make out it sounds like a very large pokemon while a smaller set of pokemon is screaming out for help. Eventually the whole tunnel begins to shake and soon you look around the corner of one of the tunnels and you finally see what is making all the noise. It seems an Onix has fallen into the tunnels and began harrasing a Piloswine and her kids, in all the confusion the Swinub you have in your arms got seperated and lost. But unfortunately, just as you try to enter the tunnel the Onix sees you coming and with a quick flick of his tail he creates a blockage between him and the tunnel entrance.

With the pile of rocks blocking your access to the Piloswine and its family you order Athene to go grab the Onix's attention. Vanishing from sight Athene disappears and reappears behind the Onix and lets out a long yawn making the Onix drowsy. While this is going on yourself and Yaichi start pulling rocks from the pile making a hole big enough for yourselves before Yaichi scrambles through the hole and makes sure the Piloswine family is alright. Before long the lumbering Onix is unconscious on the ground.

The little one starts to wriggle around in your arms as he is happy to see and smell the rest of his family. But on a closer inspection you see that the mother's has a broken left foot and one of the Swinubs seems to be badly poisoned but you have no idea why. As you think what to do in this situation you turn around to see the asleep Onix lying on the ground wrything around in his sleep looking like he is going to wake up any second now. You think that you can get the Piloswine and her babies away from here but it will take some time.

With the Onix knocked on the ground Athene goes over to the Piloswine family and grabs them with her hand the using her psychic powers she transports them back into the safer floors of the ice caves. Moments after she left Athene returned to your side and the three of you continue down the hallways. When you get about 500 metres away from the spot of the devastating fight you here a large rumbling coming from behind you seems like the Onix has woken up and isn't too happy with what just happened.

With the Onix is close pursuit behind you, you run faster and faster through the ice tunnels. With Athene and Yaichi running beside you, a smile of satisfaction crosses your face as you know that everything is going to be ok. But something catches you completely off guard, just as you place you right foot down for the next step in your stride the ice breaks beneath it sending both you and your pokemon down a freaky deaky ice tunnel which brings you out a couple floors beneath where you just were. You look up in time to see the Onix chasing you cross the hole above and continue a futile pursuit. Picking yourself up and brushing the icy debris off your body you take a look around at the new surroundings of the icy tunnel.

As you take in the new icy surroundings you hear a clinking behind you, you turn around as fast as you can with a fear of dread hoping the Onix isn't there. You are met with relief when you see a Sneasel in the corner sharpening its claws with on a rock. You hear another sound with the same sense of fear you turn around but this time also let out a sigh of relaxation as it is only a Smoochum checking herself out in an icy mirror. Slumping down onto an icy chair your eyes meet something odd on the ground, a large set of foot prints.

You start to follow the huge deep footprint trail, as you admire the grand architecture of the tunnels and wonder how they where constructed possibly by giant worm like creatures (maybe ancestors of that Onix?, who knows) the longer you follower the foot prints the louder a banging noise begins to resonate through the caves. Being very cautious you finally find the room like structure of the cave system where the foot prints seem to lead to. You poke you head around the corner hoping it isn't another Onix, but to your amazement there stands a huge wolly Mamoswine who seems quite pissed off about something. As you look up at the ceiling you realise he must have also fallen through the roof.

Feeling a scared you order Yaichi to use her womenly charms on the rampaging mammoth in order to calm him down. But damn hell if it didn't work, as soon as she battered her eyes at the mammoth he was down on the ground in a lovey daze and with that brief moment of respite you slowly run away from the Mamoswine.

Continuing down the tunnels you come across a large ice cavern room with a lake in the middle and another passage to the side. Moving over the to lake you see a Seel at the side of the lake clapping its hands inately as well as an Omanyte splashing around in the shallow end of the pool. As you inspect both of these pokemon you see a ripple in the lake and right before your eyes a Dratini blasts out of the water before diving right back in.

You leave the lake room and move down the passage way to the side this time finding another large room like cavern (amazing how many of these there are) This time you encounter a Piplup walking around in circles for what seems to be no apparent reason. A Buizel slides around on the ice having a great time really doing nothing while a Shellder tries to hide in a small ice pool (thats a rock pool but made of ice). You notice a small out cropping of ice which you go take a seat on while you think your next move

This is the old location of the village before the battling league moved the village a mile east. In this ancient test of time, among old buildings and disused shops you will find a variety of city Pokemon living in solitude. Rumor has it there are secrets underneath the village.

You pick up the small piece of pink metal, mourning the death of the Forret. Sure, he was annoying but you didnt want him to die, still, maybe that piece would come in handy later. Although you shouldnt feel too bad, he knew what Self-destruct would do before he used it. Quickly you instruct Judge to put out the fire, and he does so without problems. After a moment of silence you decide to head towards the doorway.
Being careful not to shift the beams that lean precariously over the doorway, you shift the broken door slightly to make room to enter. Inside its dusty interior, you spot a chair against the far wall with what looks to be a policemans hat sitting on it. Around the room are various plaques depicting acts of heroism and degrees of law. A dusty policemans coat hangs on a rack and a desk sits to the right side of the room. It looks like this was someones office back when the courthouse was open.

The Tyrogue glares at you suspiciously, but slowly a curiousity begins to gleam in its eyes. It doesnt release its hold on the papers for an instant but the hostility in the air seemed to lessen slightly. He chatters something hesitantly at you, unsure of whether or not to trust you. Your pokemon translates it as; "It was written for my master for his son on his birthday, but the quarry closed suddenly and he was gone. He forgot me here, and forgot the letter too. Its all I have left of him, so I wont let you take it." On that last point the Tyrogue was very adamant. A slight cool breeze wafted in through the cracked open door to the elevator shaft.

He seems offended that you didnt know, as if since his master was the most important thing in his life, he should be known to everyone. He clutches the papers tighter to his chest, at the same time trying to guard them from being overly crumpled. The barriers of anger and hostility the small pokemon had put up slowly shifted to sadness, and he looked at the floor, talking slowly and sadly. "His name was Benjamin Poe," your pokemon tells you. "When the quarry shut down......." He trails off and looks you straight in the eyes. "If you know my master please dont go down there. Its very dangerous, and you might be lost too." The Tyrogue hopped up on the desk, sitting down and smoothing the papers lovingly. The pokemons warning hangs in the air as the musty smell of wood, water and stone drift in the room from the open door.

The smallish pokemon glared up at you after tending to the papers. "You arent my master," he said, jumping down from the desk, putting himself in between you and the papers. "My master was an older man, and he was the best master ever. When I was born, he took me in, and I was going to be a birthday present for someone he loved. Until.....it happened." The Tyrogue looked at the floor sadly. "Everything bad happened that day, and then my master went away and I havent seen him since. He left me all alone." The sadness in his voice became bitter at that, and he looked at you with narrowed eyes. "Dont play with me... either leave this room or go get yourself killed down there. Either way, you arent my master so you arent welcome!!" With that the Tyrogue sat facing away from you on the desk, looking over the papers sadly.

After a long moment he opened the drawer of the desk and pulled out a picture in a frame, which he looked at for a long time. Sighing he finally turns to you, and toddles over, handing you the frame. You see a smiling man holding a woman and a young boy between them. The Tyrogue points at the man in the picture. "Thats my master," he says. "Do you know where he is?" The small pokemon gazes up at you with a desperate look of loneliness. As you look at it you feel a slight rumble deep below the building.

You continue to sit down on the conveniently placed ice chair you watch the Piplup frolicking around on the ice having a wonderful time doing nothing at all. After a few minutes of pokemon playing your own pokemon come back to your position Athene unfortunately has nothing to report. But when Yaichi comes back form her ninja duties it looks like she has something quite interesting to tell you.

As you lean in closer to find our what Yaichi is talking about she starts to explain her whole story to you and asks you to follow her. As she aids you with her ability to walk through walls she leads you through a giant wall of ice and to the other side. You stand in amazement as you gaze upon the site that meets your eyes. A massive castle completely made of ice glistening in the reflections of the walls of the cavern which surrounds it. It looks like nothing you have ever seen the architcture is amazing it seems completely perfect, you walk up to the gates of the castle and see that they are swung open. Almost as if someone was expecting you.

You move over to the gates and walk into the massive ice palace. Walking down the hallways you notice a lot of furniture or what at least appears to be furniture made of ice adorning various rooms. You move into a room with flashing lights you take a peak in and see various pokemon on a stage dancing around. A Jynx sees you and moves over to you dancing as if she is trying to seduce you, with that quickly as you came in you run out of that room and slip of the icy floor and slide into another room. Picking yourself up you see a giant aquarium filled with Feebas just bobbing around. You turn around and see a Wooper and a Azurill bouncing around on a bed.

As you walk up the stairs of the icy house you start to get a deep chill down your spine. Your breath hangs like smoke in the air each time you breath as you get further up the stairs it gets even colder before you hear a "BOO" behind you. Turning around you see a Ghastly poking its tongue out at you before dipping back into a wall. You start climbing up the stairs you come across another hallway filled with doors and at the end you can see a Delibird who is taunting you.
