Rematch vs MLG (Ref-Rossy)

Now, to start off I'll send out one of my starters that I still have yet to use in a full battel. Let's go Rogue! (shiny female Gyarados)

I'll take you on for a rematch. I have a new pokemon that needs expierence, although it has a type disadvantage.

I'll send out Ore, my male shiny Cranidos.

Ore, use Rock Polish, then shoot out a Thunderbolt and finish with Stone Edge.

Alright Rogue, start off with Thunderwave. Then use an Aqua Tail to knock Ore into the water. After that trap him there in a Whirlpool.

Round 1

Indigo Plateau. A place where trainers go to become champions. Some say the Elite Four live around this area but are always traveling. The ref looked out onto the grass field and pressed a button on a pillar. The grass field opened out and a field filled with water rose up. The floats bobbed as the water stilled. The ref jumped over to the ref area and waited for the challengers.

Three days *cough* One hour later, two challengers arrived at the arena. The ref sat up and beckoned them to come. They hopped across the floats to their places and the ref stood up.
"This shall be a 1 VS 1 Pokemon Battle between Drago and MeLo. There are no banned moves and the DQ is at 40%. Drago."
The boy on the ref's right threw a Pokeball into the air. It opened and the white light formed into a Gyarados. It landed into the water and roared. MeLo didn't even hesitate as he threw his Pokeball into the air. It opened and the white light formed into the shape of a Cranidos. It landed on one of the twenty floats and slammed his back leg into the float as if wanting to charge. The ref brought up both his arms and brought them back down, slicing the air.
"Begin!"

Well, this is a change in scenery. Ore begins this round by...polishing himself? He rubs himself all over in a bid to smooth himself. A light and nimble Ore is born moments later. Rogue raises his eyebrow and collects the static electricity in the air. She fires the electricity at Ore and it hits him full on. He snarls at Rogue as he realises his muscles have been restricted.

Rogue moves quickly, knowing that electricity will surely come her way. She travels to float #16, tail glowing a light blue. She leaps out of the water and smacks Ore with her tail. Ore is thrown into the air and lands with a splash. He tries to move but his muscles contract. He sends a bolt of electricity into the water regardless of hurting himself. Rogue feels the pain as she is zapped by the electric water.

Ore gets some feeling back in his muscles and starts to swim back to the surface. He reaches the surface and tries to climb back onto a float. He managed to get a leg up before the water beneath him starts to swirl around. Ore gulps as he is sucked in along with the float. He clings onto it but more floats come into the whirlpool and bash into him. He lets go and is sent spiraling into the water. He can just about breathe but is yet again unable to move as his muscles contract.

Arena and Pokemon Status
Gyarados is on one side controlling a Whirlpool that has grown to nearly the entire width of the arena. Nearly half the floats have entered the water and are swirling around in it. Cranidos is just underneath the whirlpool and can just about breathe.

Side Notes

1) The Whirlpool will get bigger as time passes

2) Cranidos will lose 2% health each action he is underwater.

3) That's my new reffing format. Please comment.

Just letting you know Rossy that I think your reffing has improved a lot. You don't post miniature sentences anymore, but you write a good battle now. Not to long that it gets boring, and not to short either (like before). Good job, keep it up.

Yeah it looks good, Rossy.

Alright Rogue, try to trap Ore underwater with an Ice Beam. Then power yourself up with Dragon Dance. After that smash him with an Iorn Head attack.

Ok, Ore use Sandstorm to cancel out that Whirpool and disrupt his vision/aim. Follow that up with a nasty Thunderbolt. Last, as he comes at you with Ironhead, show him who's head is the strongest with Head Smash!

Hmm...I'm not sure which font to do. Green perhaps? Or maybe a nice Orange?

That means I'm not like most people. Anyway, I prefer MeLo to MLG as it's not using Shift as much.

The Whirlpool grows and is close to sucking Rogue in. Suddenly, a huge amount of sand comes flying out of the Whirlpool. Rogue yelps as the sand pelts him like very small hailstones. Blinded, she fires a beam of ice where the Whirlpool was. She managed to freeze a small portion of the pool.

Rogue grunted at the storm and got a mouth full of sand. Angered, she spat it out and started dancing. Looks like the Irish Macarena...which is difficult when you have no hands. Suddenly, Ore appears out of nowhere and fires a bolt of electricity at Rogue. She writhes with pain. Ore gets some feeling back into his muscles and grins.

The sand swirls around the arena, wearing the frozen section down. The two Pokemon lock eyes and snarl. With Rogue moving through the water and Ore jumping on floats, they charge at each other. Rogue's head turns grey and Ore lowers his head. The jump at each other and slam heads. They both grunt and try to push the other one down. This may take a while.

After what felt like an hour, both Pokemon separated and are now standing on opposite sides. Rogue is still submerged in water and Ore is standing on a float. One of the corners is frozen along with float #12. With the sand out, the ice should erode in eight rounds...should the sand and/or match last that long. Rogue is scratched by the sand (-3% health)

Time to begin the next round. We begins with Rogue creating a miniature version of himself. And not a moment too soon. The 'rock' fired off a bolt of electricity that smashed into the sub, nearly destroying it.

With the sub nearly gone, Rogue hastily removes the sand by calling rain to the field. Ore winced as the rain fell on him. He still fired off a light blue pulse that crumbles the sub.

Now with no defence, Rogue nothing to stop Ore from freezing the air around him and firing it at Rogue. Rogue felt the chill but charged at Ore and smacked him with her tail. Ow.

And we shall begin. Ore shakes his back legs, getting ready for the attack. Rogue moved into range and fired a large barrage of water at the rock. It came close but was scattered by Ore's protective shield.

Rogue frowned, that was unexpected. Still, a bit of salty water should keep that rock in line. She fired the water at Ore and it was a success. Ore shook himself and smiled. He rushed at Rogue and smacked her down hard. She fell into the water and slowly got up.

Rogue growled and bared his fangs. Great teeth they were. She screwed her eyes and turned her teeth into ice. She swam towards Ore and was about to clamp down but was zapped by a point blank Thunder. She fell down and hit the water. Mouth charred and smoking.
