In general, psychic pokemon own the smart contests.

Future sight + calm mind + psychic is a good combination, and a lot of psychics learn it.

Appeal combo:

1. Calm mind (3 hearts)
2. Future sight (7 hearts for combo) or psychic (if in last place - for 3 hearts for combo and 3 jam)

For the cool contest, I used a Zangoose with aerial ace + quick attack + slash, but most flying pokemon are ideal.

Aerial ace + quick attack/agility + double team

Appeal combo:

1. Double team (2 hearts, I think)
2. Quick attack/agility (7 hearts for the combo, also makes you go first next appeal)
3. Aerial ace (for 7 hearts)

You can throw in hyper beam in the last spot if you want, but I never needed it.
