This match is between Houndoom Lover and Gym Leader MLG, the arena is a standard Indigo Plateau Arena. If the challenger wins she will become a gym leader. Both trainer throw out their pokeballs revealing a Togepi on Houndoom Lover’s side and a Cleffa called Ai on MLG’s.

Togepi gets the match started off with a short burst of electricity, but before it can reach Ai she has already coated herself with a white veil of energy protecting her from it.

With her new shield Ai decides she should go on the offensive and throws up a glob of purple toxic goo which she flings at Togepi and watches as it soaks into her skin. Togepi responds by firing another beam of lightning which strikes Ai zapping her.

Togepi finishes off the round by slamming one of her tiny fists into body of Ai. Ai just shrugs it off and starts beating on her belly and chants her name trying to boost her spirits as well as her attack.

As the match continues Ai runs in a head on sprint towards Togepi before shoving her body in Togepi using her devotion to her trainer as motivation. Togepi responds by waving her hand in a circular motion creating a silver circle, and from that a white blast of energy is thrown at Ai knocking her back.

Picking herself up off the ground and again runs towards Togepi this time her tiny tail glowing a silver colour she jumps into the air and comes crashing down onto Togepi. But before the two connect Togepi erects a barrier of green and white energy which negates the blow.

Finishing up Ai uses her stash of secret powers fires a small beam of white energy which hits Togepi causing her to roll back comically. After she recovers from the blow Togepi finally runs into Ai giving her a full on body slam.

Ai begins by throwing her whole body into Togepi and then watches as he comically rolls back through the dirt. Togepi then picks himself up and coats his skin in a silver substance which glows then she suddenly knows how to use Ai's attack and gives it back to her by ramming his body into Ai. A streak of stars flies through the sky as Togepi’s wish is granted giving him back some energy.

Before Ai can do anything Togepi puts up a barrier of green and white energy preparing for any incoming attacks. Ai doesn’t take any notice and has a small nap on the ground.

Waking out of her short sleep Ai begins to run towards Togepi with the intention of hurting her. Togepi then responds by running towards Ai. Both clash and a small puff of smoke appears out of no where as both blows take place. As the smoke clears both fighters are still standing but then Togepi turns a eerie purple and falls down to the ground knocked out.
