And this match starts. 2 OF 8 this far. As I hold up my glass, I see a chunk of ice shoot on by. Damn, they missed my glass. But no, this Shard had a mission. Raven sqwaked instantly and fell from flying a good 10 feet cause of the force. Matt quietly began to eye chart and scan said guy. However Ziva got a nice looking way of taking and giving bumps..as a bunch of Rocks fell all around Raven as he tried to fly back up. Raven flapped hastily in protest... getting off his Air Cutter before being entombed.

.....Then yer ref passed out for a hour and a half xD!....

But I'm back, and I'm chillin. So is Raven, and he really looks kinda mad. Nereus hops/flips over and then encases himself in a shield as a wild blast of Eelctricity scrapes the ground in front of him as it strikes the barrier. Raven tried to yawn from his trapped positon, but it fell on deaf ears.

This left Ziva to dash over and uppercut the unsuspecting Matt with a Drain Punch. Ow

Still pinned down, Raven's current situation gave Nereus time to be random. Orbs encircled him and then flew out at Matt striking him. Didn't seem to matter too much though. Ziva however went to Matt and gave him the crazy Force Palm of Death, knocking him to the ground all all that! Or he would have had he not zipped away from that. Good job Matt.

Raven was in his tomb, trying to free himself. No go so far, but some rocks moved from some attack in there...

This match runs away from me. Anyway. I can hear Raven hammering away at his Tomb in there. That has gotta suck. But Matt is having issues of his own. Its essentially two on one and Nereus is trying to blast him with Supersonic waves. Well, he is, and Matt is sitting through it...trying to focus.

Ziva just stands there, and flexes a few times. Yeah so buff!

Nereus, satisfied that Matt is stuck in one spot, decides to stack the opposition. 4 Shellders come from one and they all close their shells slightly. Matt falls on his back, unable to concentrate because the world is so danged funny to him!

Ziva goes over to Matt and begins to try and make fun of him, but her Swagger is duly interuptted by a slew of Rocks that come with this strange Gust of Wing. Ziva coughs and winces as the large chunks swat her.

Nereus notes that the Tomb is broken and they all charge up a nice surprise. The millisecond Raven's Beak shoots out from the Tomb, they fire off a slew of Ice Shards. Raven wasn't expecting that, and gets tagged mid flight escape route, crashing into a clone.

Ziva, sore about the rocks, takes it out on Matt by swiftly Vacumn Waveing him Matt doubles over and lies down in pain. Yeah hes still gone.

Ziva, start by countering that wing attack. Then, follow that up with an ice punch to Raven. Finally, wait till after he releases his razor wind and then hit Raven hard with a rock slide.

Raven takes a moment to assess the situation. Ziva seems intent on bringing him down, so Raven saves him the trouble. He speeds into Ziva with his wings outstretched, forcing Ziva to spin in place and grab the birds wing, before slamming it into the gound. Raven crashes and burns, and then is Iced over by Nereus.

This leaves Matt to float about aimlessly. Yeah he's a bit gone still..

Raven..is hurt. Pretty bad, SO he just sits there and charges up the energy to commit to his next attack. Nereus looks around and notes that there are still many a Shellder about, so he flippity flops in the water and Dives down. To his surprise, Matt appears there beside him!

While Raven sits there, Ziva walks over with a sneer and uppercuts Raven with a brutal Ice Punch.

Tired of being picked on, Raven retaliates against Ziva by dashing at the fighter and attacking the living daylights out of Ziva. Unprepared for such ferocity, Ziva just has to take her lickings! Once the bird is done however, Ziva is quick to command a tonnage of Rocks down to crush his spirits...and wings.

Meanwhile underwater, Matt seems comfortable with the fact that it's not drowning. Nereus an co then force the Magnemite out of their domain with a Jont uprising from their dive. Bad Idea, as since they were all touching Matt, Matt just let a wave of electricity run over its body. Nereus felt the contact and fell back.

Slow but steadily, Matt finally puts two and to together. It's finally got its bearing straight and quickly vanishes as the water Around it begin to swirl up...but only for a second. Suddenly Nereus goes ito shock-paralysis finally taking hold!

Matt reappears high above the pond, in full view of Ziva and Raven. Ther fighter quickly begins jumping left and right, using her Agility to avoid anything thrown at her by Raven. The bird is deadlocked however, and is able to max out enough of a flight pattern to skin Ziva's backside.

Miffed over that shock, Nereus floats up to the surface and swaps targets. Using her newfound Agility, Ziva does the same, by jumping off of Raven's head and sending an aerial Wave of energy that sucked Matt into her fist. Raven, disoriented for that moment was then struck by a Briny bath of water, causing him to land in disgust. He took it personally, and instead of flying, got in the water and swam toward Nereus. The Shellder backed away, into a Thunderbolt by the recovered Matt. With shocking water as a motivator, Raven then flew up and opted for an aerial Wing Attack on the damn mollusk.

Ziva lands back on shore, but Raven's done with Nereus. He flies to shore, quaking all the way. Ziva notes this and readies herself for anything. Raven streaks in and almost speeds past the fighter-whilst scratching her with his leek-but Raven's speed proved useful here as she sidearmed the bird in the front wing, shocking and hurting Raven. Another crash landing.

Matt on the other hand, released a set of stars out to splatter the clonage that was going on beneath him from Nereus. Nereus sunk a bit as the Stars thudded against his shell.

Raven feels the wear of battle on his body, and he flies up one last time to try and put Ziva down. Matt acquires a neverending lock on Nereus, as the little bivalve spits out a Shard of Ice. It stabs Raven's left wing, and the bird cries out as she divebombs. Ziva in his sights, Raven speeds up and gets ready to Resort to a kamikaze strike. But Ziva is ready. She lunges up and with a closed fist, rams it into Raven's face. Raven goes spiralling over to the side, completly taken out.

Matt, not noting Raven was done for, fires his Zap Cannon. It shoots up and away. Nereus and Ziva both laugh, but things stop being funny when Nereus realizes he can't move. Just in time for the Zapping part to take effect. It speeds back down and slams into the lil guy, leaving him worse off then before. Ziva backs away, and makes a dash for Matt. Matt's tagged, and it feels a bit weird, like his life force was robbed.

Ziva backed away as Matt recoiled from the punch. Lunging forth, the little steel type reelased a slew of stars that hit the blue furred smurf. Ziva crouched down and held her cehst in pain.

A sudden wave of energy then bathed Matt-confusing him greatly, since it didn't hurt, but it looked like it should. Nereus crackedits shell open, eyes sticking a tongue out at teh floater. That would soon be overcast by a massive ball of energy that encased and ripped Matt's senses apart.

Mike is down one. But he's not worried, as there's still 5 in teh wings he can use. Calling on his Camerupt; the battle begins with ear splitting Screeches from the competition. Its cut short by the release of a Shock Wave, turning Nereus into a sparking lanturn shell. Aries glares at Ziva, before calling upon the ground to rise up and slam her hard!

Ziva takes the Powerful hit and lands, clutchng her gut. Miffed she eyes up Matt and senses his next course of action, gfivng her time to devise a strategy. Matt seemed to care less, as Nereus stayed with shell shut, paralysed. He threw a Thunderbolt at him, because he wanted it gone...

Ziva sghould have been looking at Aeris. Becasue she would not have then been hit by a tumultuous Rock Slide that left some marks.

Still not satisfied with what was going on with Nereus, Matt floated over and began sparking loud Ziva ran over and used her weakened energy to pull off a drop kick. It hit, and the duo went flying. Matt, with its heightened speed though rose up and released a blanket of electricty that hit both Nereus and Ziva, since she was in range.

Aeris, unaffected by the blanket, was eager to stamp the ground, causing an Earthquake that made the pair of them bounce around unhappily. Nereus's shell did open though and fire off blasts of water at Aeris.

This round starts off innocently enough. Aeris and Matt both begin a deluge of attacks. Matt's speed gets him in Nereus's face with another shock wave. Nereus reels back and continues to shimmer. Ziva quickly throws up a shield, to deter any Rocks tumbling down her way from Aeris. But the Rocks that seemed to fall near Nereus suddenly exploded on contact-due to a massiv energy expenditure that enguled the other three fighters as well.

Ziva lets her shield fall, and she looks back to her opponents. Matt's not moving.., and Aeris-whom was a bit farther back, starts to stand. Seeing no reason to stop the attacks, Ziva quickly slams Aeris down again with another Wave of Energy.

Aeris stays down for the moment, but causes a deluge of Rocks to fall onto Ziva. Ziva cries out, those things hurt!

Ziva smashes her way free of the Rocks, and limps to Aeris. Her good foot rises up and glows a bright amber. The Camel however, spins as it slides along the ground, but its end position is with its volcanic humps pointing at Ziva. Ziva frowns, and holds her head as Rocks blast from those humps and slam into her.

Well, tat was eventful Aeris is left alone for a moment, as both Mike and Wolf submit new Pokemon to continue this battle. A Marill, Shelgon and Primeape join the fray. Ryu punches his fists together, and runs forth first, meeting Stella head on, as she dances about. Ryu evades her and as Jade attempts to see the Future for Aeris, she's punched in the gut. Hard. Aeris is left alone to contemplate and collect all that raw energy, before firing it at the dancing dragon. Stella is rolled backwards aways, creating a deep groove in her wake.

Well, as the Beam flies away, and Stella tries to stand, Aeris takes a back seat. Ryu claps as Jade tries to dance about as well, and she finds herself uppercutted by another Thunderpunch. Jade flips in the air and twirls about, managing to call the rains even though she's hurt.

Stella, having relocated herself, turned an evil eye to Aeris. Ryu was closer, but she was pretty peeved at the camel. Still, a Twister went Ryu's way causing him to step back as she moved up.

With not much else left in the way of options, Aeris decides to eliminate Stella. Steam rolling off his body, he begins to charge up a blast. Jade though is not having it, and runs toward him. Her ball like body slams him in the face, and it gives him the shivers.

Stella approves of that hit and charges up a Pulse of draconic energy to follow, but Ryu jumps in the way. The blast strikes him, but he pushes through and slams his Icy left fist into Stella hide, leaving a mark. As Ryu rolls away, Aeris fires off that second Hyper Beam, throwing Stella all sorts of topsy turny.

Aeris, with its superb blank expression, just stands still as Ryu digs under the ground for a lil bit. Not quite sure why Ryu's digging a hole, but ok. But Jade and Stella quickly bring a peace to Aeris's pain but firing a dual shock wave of Water so powerful, it throws the Camel to the other side of the field.

Aeris gone, Ryu just watches from his hole as Jade watches Stella. Rocks begin to fall all around Ryu, and he hunkers down in his hole, as the stones cover him...partially. Ahh I get it. He stands up, as the Rocks only have him pinned from the waist down. Jade spots this, and then wails as a Thunderbolt slams into her. Rain does not help this any... but the Light Screen definitly did.

Ryu twists his body and uses his legs to keep nudging himself out of that hole with rocks. Stella takes it as enough for her to dance about gayly, all around Ryu. That kinda ticks him off, and he turnns to see Jade glowing with small satellites orbiting her. They fly off and crash into him...for average pain. He retaliates with a MASSIVE crackling of Thunder, that slams through thait screen and strikes Jade dead on.

Out of nowhere, and I mean nowhere, a thunderous clap of energy rang out and smashed directly ito Ryu, sending him flying out of the tomb of rock and on his back. (-10E)

Aeris gone, Mike releases his next Pokemon, a shiny Glaceon. The shimmering Pokemon runs up to join Ryu in the battle, mouth already charged with frosty energy. Good thing, as Stella had charged forward and slammed her weight into Ryu.

Ryu flew back, but was able to land on his knees in the mud. Fists crackled, and he slowly rose. Frost beat Stella back with a Ice Beam at point blank rage, and Jade felt safe for the moment as a wave of water was created around her.

A burst of electricty was heard a few moments later, as a winded Ryu punched the "innocent" Jade.

Jade rolled backwards from that hit, and Ryu didn't let up. He lunged for the chubby Pokemon again, and scored a second hit, right before Stella got in there with an Aerial Ace to back him away from her. Ryu flew to the side, and lied face down in the mud. A searing Icy wind then hit Jade and Stella; courtesy of Frost.

Jade didn't like that, and she bounded over to the icy 'mon, fists at the ready. Frost backed up, but Jade had the quicker step and slammed her Fists into Frost's side.

Stella, seeing Ryu had enough, turned toward the rainy weather and felt it neded to stop. All those ice attacks were killer-even more so in this rain. So she danced about, and soon enough the rain began to relax. Jade was on the offensive as Stella danced, and she was able to slam her fists into Jade a second time. Frost shivered-and even though the rain stopped, and the sun was visible, it semed to grow cold for Stella. A massive deluge of ice and mud came falling upon her.

Ryu came up from behind and uppercutted Jade in the back. Ow.
