America has fallen.

You look confused. Where’ve you been- under a rock? Well, let me tell ya. Everything is controlled by computers these days; you must know that at least. Without them, everything comes to a grinding halt. This has happened, just the other day. Big old Y2K style. Everything in chaos. Riots, fire, escape convicts, like the end of the freakin’ world.

You know those machines that keep them people alive in the hospitals? Yep, those people are all dead. All ‘em people stuck in the subways, it must’ve been real scary. To slowly run out of air in those damn machines, under the ground in the darkness. I wonder what it’s like to be a big wig, wake up that morning it happened and find everything down. All that information of the digital stuff gone. Must’ve been horrible.

It’s been a week since it happened, that’s right, a week.

Some freak called I*Mage has taken control over all ‘em electronic things. Makes me kind of glad I never owned one. Haha…You can hear that little freak, over all the big screens downtown, broadcasting. All you see is I*Mage. Over and over again, sayin’ “This is I*Mage. I*Mage is in control.”

I wonder what its like, to loose all the money you ever had in one day. I knew ‘em banks were no good.

All the lights off, like one great big bedtime. Other nations have been trying to help, but they can’t get in. Those robotically control military ships don’t seem like such a good idea now, do they?

But I tell ya, Gotham City’s the place to be right now. It’s the only place in America that still has those duck and cover bomb shelters. You know, those nations are probably just gunna drop bombs on us soon. Speaking of which, I*Mage just made a decoration, across the whole world from what I hear.

“Come…Come warriors. Come monsters. Come to Gotham City. I*Mage is looking for a champion. I*Mage is looking for a King. Who will claim this desolate country? You have one week. If a King is not crown I*Mage will launch all the warheads America has in her loving womb to all the nations of the Earth.”

Of course, this’ll bring a lot o’ crazies, not like we didn’t have ‘em already, you know. ‘Cause Gotham City’s always been like this. I wouldn’t be surprise if this I*Mage kid wasn’t from here….

Always gets the crazies… Speakin’ of that, all them loons from Arkham are all out, their cells being held up by wires and electric doodads. There ain’t a moment when you don’t hear a cry for help, maniacal laughter, a stray alarm. That Scarecrow fella has a whole army of terror ridden Hobos. Yeah, yeah, I am lucky, aren’t I?

You walk down the street and hear sirens, but the police; they can’t to nothing about it. And The Batman, he can’t keep up. Ain’t a day go by there isn’t a buildin’ on fire. It’s like Hell just broke loose. And if Gotham city is this bad, I can only imagine what its like else where…

Hopefully, I*Mage’s challenge to the world will bring heroes to save us…I’m not gunna hold my breath though.

I think it’s a trap, personally. But hey, you didn’t hear it from me.

1) All DC and Marvel characters are up for grabs. There must be at least four Playing Characters in order to start the game. There may be Made-Up characters. People may play more than one character, but the other must be canon character.


2) I will smite godmoddling, power playing, and out of characterism. You will only type for your character (s) and your character (s) alone.

3) I require each player to fill out Character Sheet(s) to join. All NPC (None Player Characters) will be played by me in the event which we need them. The NPC may or may not be on your side.

4) All posts should be under 500 words long. Mind you, I’m not keeping track, you shouldn’t be keeping track so don’t fret if you’re over. I post this here because I’m not here in RPG land to read novels, Hemmingway.

5) If you’re playing a canon character that is required for the RPG to continue and you do not post, you will have a two day grace peiod before that character becomes NP. (None Player) On your return, you may have your character back after you apologize :3

Name: Tyson Gravver

Abilities: Has the ability to control gravity. He can control a center of gravity and push the gravity to make him faster. He can levitate to a certain degree, levitate other objects, and change the pull of gravity to caertain wall or ceiling to attract him to it.
Strength: Has a good IQ and is quite knowledgable of things. He knows how to get himself out of situations, how to win a certain fight, and how to escape if necisarry. Always thinking.
Weakness: His power is done by a chemical that changed his mental state into wich he could control gravity. If this chemical was somehow drained from his body, or brain was nullified someway, then he would be left with his human strength. It just wouldnt be enough.
Description:Wears a jean jacket opened with no shirt under it and the sleeves cut off, to show his muscles. Wears jeans and army like boots. He has spiky black hair and strange purple ireses. Has pale pale skin, almost white in the literal sense, and is tall and muscular around 5'11.

He stopped in his tracks knowing the explosions were catching up to him. He stopped in his dead tracks. What was he doing. Tyson closed his eyes and focused the cenbtral gravity around him toawrds his own body. With the central gravity locked noto Tyson, he thrusted the central gravity foward, making Tyson blaze through the land faster then the speed of sound, just as the ground exploded where he was standing moments ago.

History: Father was previously a chemist teacher in a school that had amazing potential. He tried one day to make a chemical to increase the mind. It was proven successful, but his guinea pig was unfortunatly his son, tyson. Tyson went to the hospital, and while laying in bed he found himself lifting things with his hands. And his dad being a chemist realised that it had a side effect that lets you control gravity with the increased mind rate. Tyson then grew older with his new ability, and as the days got more chaotic, he became more ravenous. Fending for himself.
