New kittens

Well I wound up getting my kittens today. The original plan was to pick up just one but they were the last two in the litter and my dad felt bad spliting them up so he asked me if I thought I'd be able to handle the two of them. The two brothers are grey tabbies with grey/black stripes on the back with white faces/chests. Only real problem for me is coming up with names XD

One of the kittens is a little more hyper and full of energy while the other is more mellow and calm. The geek in me in keeping with the brothers concept was thinking of either Gohan/Goten from Dragon Ball or Malfurion/Illidan from Warcraft. However other suggestions would also be welcome. Feel free to toss some out guys ^_~

Oh no, the geek names. If you want to go in that direction but a little less obvious, I suggest Bruce and Grayson. My sister has two cats - the black one was called Bruce because he reminded her of Batman and the other one was gray and I thought Grayson would be awesome but she went with Yuri. Ruined a perfect combo

The mellow one could be Bruce (or Wayne if you wanted) because he's usually calm and in control. And the other could be Grayson cause Robin is a bit more excitable

We only have one cat here at the moment, named Abbie (she's a bundle of fun), we used to have another cat years ago, but she died of old age, which was several years before Abbie was born. Even then, none of us in my family know how she managed to survive at such a young age, because she was left out in the cold one winter day, thankfully she's doing great these days, the clever thing managed to get out a big hairball all by herself, I seem to recall she rubbed up against a tree or something repeatedly until it fell off.

I think you should call them Nitro and Rage. No real reason, I just think those are kinda cool names and it's nearly 3am and I think I should go to bed now. Peace

Well, since you want to stick with the fact that they're brothers, you could always go with Mario and Luigi.

Name the hyper one Mario and the calmer one Luigi.

But I think if you wanted to name them something Geeky I would name the hyper one Microsoft and the calmer one Apple.

As you can see the two of them look almost identical. The hyper one has a little brown spot near his nose and the calm one has one white ear and more white on him overall.

Peyton and Eli are good names. I prefer giving human names to cats since I can't abide by the ridiculous ones like Fluffy and Mittens

Come on man, it's bad enough that the real Manning brothers have to put up with those names, let alone subjecting your poor innocent kittens to them!!

Kittens are fantastic. Puppies, too. The personalities sound quite similar to those of my sister's cats back when they were kittens. The hyperactive one turned out to be really neurotic and edgy, while the calm one grew up to be a big fluffy dope.

I haven't got any names on offer... My sister once had a cat named Viking and a mouse named Titan (with different spelling from the norm), which I always thought was cool. Viking was the coolest cat ever; he knocked up at least three ladycats, got into a fight with a raccoon and would often go missing for days, occasionally coming back with a new collar. They don't make cats like that anymore.

Well after much debate and many suggestions I've settled on Stanley for the hyper one and Oliver for the calm kitten. Bonus points to the first person that gets the reference ^_~
If I get batteies for my camera anytime soon I'll look into posting new pics of them.

Growing up I watched a ton of old black and white slapstick with my dad. While the Stooges are good and possibly the most famous from that era I myself tended to prefer Laurel and Hardy. As I ran through a list of famous pairs Stan and Ollie just seemed to slowly grow on me. Plus it didn't hurt matters when I thought about how much better it sounded than Who and What
