As the round start, both Pokémon start assaulting the other with taunting words. They keep going back and forth until Misdreavus says something about Poison being a weak type, and suddenly Noir is in her face, slapping her with some of her gassy aura. Misdreavus falls back, not quite expecting that to happen all of a sudden.

Noir starts collecting a dark aura around herself, but gets distracted by a flashy ray of confusing light shot straight at her from Misdreavus. Somewhat distracted, Noir focuses again and manages to put the dark aura together and launch it off towards Misdreavus, who gets caught off guard again by the sudden powerful attack.

Misdreavus recovers quickly and starts to shoot out a bluish-white flame straight at Noir. Unable to dodge very well, Noir takes a direct hit from the flames and feels a huge burn take over her side. Now fuming, Noir pushes through her paralysis and sees through her confusion to collect another dark aura and launch it successfully at Misdreavus, who really doesn't like getting hit so hard.
