Ok, since my last challenge was a fluke, I'll try it a little different.

Ok, need a good battle. It's going to be a four on four, two double battles. I'll be banning direct status inflictors like Toxic, Thunderwave, Sleeppowder, etc. for the combatesque feature of this battle.

DQ: One week.
Banned moves: Direct status moves.

Located in the deepest part of Honshu, Japan. Somewhere between Kyoto and Osaka lies a mountain so unknown, not a satellite has seen it. For as long as mankind exists, this mountain's top is covered with unpenetrable clouds that shield it from any viewers. On land, a barrier of locust-demon-magic surrounds the area, covering it from any unwanted visitor that comes near. People who visit the place suddenly get thrown over with dark emotions that takes away all will for life, so they leave at once.

It is said that, at one point in history, evil spawned here. Supposedly a demon-king carved out his home in this dark mountain and released evil
in the human world for the first time.

Inside the mountain is an underground city, which bares a great resemblance to old Kyoto. Ancient japanese buildings scatter the long uninhabited grounds.

The battle starts outside, at the foot of the mountain you can go up, around or in the mountain.

FIGHT!

Appearing out of the darkness of the netherworld, ref Crystal Tears returns to help out two battlers who seem to be refless. She smirks as the battle begins, ready for the carnage.

The battle begins with Daichimaru, by far the most imposing pokemon on the field, grunting and summoning a brilliant golden shield around himself (6 ENG @ Daichimaru). Ignoring the protection the tone of rock has, Jade charges up and flings a nasty looking energy ball at her enemy, only to watch it explode on contact with the golden shield (2 ENG @ Jade). Isane decides to sing, and sing a tune she does. It’s cold, unforgiving, beautiful and very very creepy (5 ENG @ Isane Kotetsu). The evil of this place seems to intensify as death marks both Jade and Matt as its targets. Speaking of Matt, he wants to try and even the odds, so he charges up and sends a nasty shockwave at Swablu. The poor cloud-bird lets out a cry of pain as the attack hits home (13 DMG @ Isane Kotetsu, 1 ENG @ Matt).

Moving right along, Isane didn’t seem to impressed with that shockwave, nor with the next one that followed almost immediately afterwards (13 DMG @ Isane Kotetsu, 1 ENG @ Matt). For that, she replies in kind by blasting a super hot wave of air at the steel type. Who shakes and feels his insides practically melting (15 DMG @ Matt, 5 ENG @ Isane Kotetsu). The ground rumbles as Daichimaru warps and summons the power of the earth to his side. The result is a mixture of everything Matt could possibly hate being thrown full force into his face (20 DMG @ Matt DMG CAP, 2 ENG @ Daichimaru). Angrily Jade rushes to defend her ally by striking with a magical leaf (18 DMG @ Daichimaru, 1 ENG @ Jade).

Very violent, oh yes. Jade, who saved attempted to save her ally, gets a powerful double dose of fire. Both Isane and Daichimaru work as a team and use two very powerful fire attacks on their enemy. But it’s the fire blast that forces the poor grass type a bit up the mountain, and thus causes the field to start to shift to the craggily, rock face of the mountain side (30 DMG @ Jade DMG CAP, 5 ENG @ Isane Kotetsu, 6 ENG @ Daichimaru). Poor Jade tries to retaliate, and uses a harsh brick break on Daichimaru who groans at the attack (12 DMG @ Daichumaru DMG CAP, 3 ENG @ Jade). Matt sends another shockwave at poor Isane (13 DMG @ Isane Kotetsu DMG CAP, 1 ENG @ Matt).

Hrm. Seems we have a ref switching ordeal, and DL the scavenger comes in to pick up the pieces!I'm just gonna get organized here...so I'll be a minute..

That doesn't stop Isane from flying up and chirping as lively as she can. Her energy begins to pour out over her and Daichi. As the veil falls about then, protecting them from any status ailments, Daichi cries out in anger. Leaves from Jade lashed out and slice at the rocky hide of the beast. Matt, not to be outdone, gives Isane a reason to chirp once again, this time in anguish. Unavoidable rings envelop her small body and force her to make a landing Daichi recovers from that leaf-slappage, and stamps the ground, causing tremors to unleash themselves all about Matt and Jade. The pair are tossed about, and Matt feels greatly uneasy about all of this.

Quickly realizing that the Perish Song may NOT do them in, Jade continues her assault on Daichi. He definitely does not approve, and takes his frustration right out at the source. Jade is gored by that little Megahorn of Daichi's, and he pair slam into the mountain side. The loose ground crumbles a bit, and a slightly larger shift can be seen in the sediment alignment. Does Matt care though? No. Its up and firing Shockwaves with reckless abandon at Isa, whom is having a hell of a time dealing with the unavoidable. Nut Isa curves in flight, leaving her on an arcing path right for Jade's crumpled body. Daichi steps back and Jade suddenly feels the Heat Wave as Isa races by, blasting her with a localized inferno.

Jade was in terrific pain. The kind of pain where you have to laugh at because it hurts so much you want to rip your skin off and try on a new color. Matt floated over to try and provide backup-but that's hard to do when yer bouncing all about like a rag doll-courtesy of Daichimaru. Lucky for Matt though, because a Second Heat Wave came searing in from the heavens, burning Jade inside out almost. Matt provided some meager assistance, though, taking that annoying Swablu out of the sky with a Shockwave.

Thinking he got off scott free, Daichi plodded back a few steps. The onslaught of Magical Leaves came from behind him, as Jade's hands rose from the ground, conducting her rage with a blind fury.

Daichi seemed to be in pain. With all these leafy attacks, he was sure to fall any second. So, with all his pride, he decided to run and leave Isane to her fate. Too bad Jade was incredibly faster than Daichi assumed. A wave of leaves whooshed up and around the dual type, tossing him out of the very hole he was digging and burying him in a Storm of Leaves. He hell on his back aching and itchy.

Meanwhile, Isane flew skyward, before divebombing down toward Matt. Matt waited until the most opportune moment, before firing a brilliantly haphazard Magnet Bomb. The course of the Bomb was unpredictable, and Isane didn't care at first. Before she crashed into Matt however, the Bomb hit and struck her straight to the ground. But before Matt could react, Isane flew up (yay Safeguard) and slammed into Matt with the fury of a thousand suns.

With time so crucial, Isane kept rumbling about-but was not ready for the resulting megaton Explosion coming from Matt. The blast rocketed through the surrounding area, and the mountainside's loose soil finally gave way, resulting in a massive rockslide that claimed Jade and Isane.

With no hope in sight for any of them, the Perish song played. Jade could barely dig herself out before the stark realization came to her that there was no one her to fight. This mountain seemed to claim the lives of everyone on it...souls to add to its darkness.

The battle is going smoothly, the challenges are great and the reffing is superb as ever.

Four new competitors come onto this now extended battle. The mountain seems to be stable, but none the less more treacherous. Abe and Goku stretch together, while Yamam and Baishin seem to be all ready to rumble. Baishin raises his metallic head and begin to rock side to side, swaying to call stormy dark clouds over. Yeah make this place even more death laden..

As water is added to the already loosened mountainside, Goku and Abe make it even worse! They both jump in the air, oblivious to the Taunting Yama is shouting. Wonder fist power activate!

The ground levels itself, loose soil and heavy bedrock churning to release pent up energies send the competitors flying for cover. Yama grabs a branch to steady himself and Baishin, well Baishin is rollin...

Goku landed, infuriated. I didn't hear the Taunting too well due to the earth splitting in two, but Goku sure doesn't like monkey smack talk. He runs over to the slower and smaller evo-before curling into a ball and Rolling into him at top speed. As he bounced away, Yama recovered his footing and retaliated with a insipid slice to the curled up opponent, dealing some painful scarring along what prolly was his back.

Baishin recovered finally, and fired off a blast of Water at the spinning steamball. That additional kick from the Rain knocked Goku out of spin formation, but it also allowed Abe to surface from his quiet spot and Punch the daylights out of Baishin.

Baishin was on his back, as the rain came down in sheets. The side of Kiakya seemed to be changing with this water, almost as if unearthing a darker evil under this facade. Feeling this new energy, the little armoed Pokemon rolled over and watched as Goku tried his Steampress once more on Yama. Yama slashed the incoming sphere, but was flattened once again. When the sphere was spinning in one spot, Baishin fired his second Water Pulse, knocking him out of gyroscopic movement.

All of a sudden, Baishin had a sense of de Ja vu, and quickly turned into a Fist of Rage! He went bouncing. Hard. His faceplate was dented too.

These new fighters seem to be really pulling out all the stops. Baishin fears for his safety and starts to vibrate as fast as he can. Abe runs over and lunges high in the air, enough for the speedy Goku to shoot in and slash Yama across the face. Yama cried out, and hled his cheek, scarred by that..rogue! Obscenities fly, tormenting Goku-but they soon stop when the ground quakes from Abe's fist smashing into it. Baishin jumped at the last second and ...stayed afloat! Whoa for Magnet Rise! However, Yama feels the hurt a bit more..

Still hovering above them all, Baishin floats down to join Yama, whom is sitting in a crossed leg position. There seems to be no fight in him currently and Baishin gets ready to take the brunt of whatever comes his way. Goku stands there kinda mad cause well..he can't attack.

But Abe can, and Abe does. Baishin watches the ground quake under him, and realizes..yep..There goes Yama, bouncing about, really not getting much health back at all...

Feeling his body wobble in the air, Baishin backed away from Yama and tried to assess his own situation. Abe was kinda miffed he wasn't hitting his target, but hell-he as still causing damage. Goku, feeling robbed, went for another Aerial Ace-and this time met Yama head on. Both struck with the same attack, so a fist collision ensued. Both bounced away holding their respective hands.

The rain now made the ground super soggy, and Baishin used it to his advantage, sending a Water Pulse over. Goku hissed, that was devastating. But not as devastating as the third Earthquake that covered Yama in a deluge of mud and silt. Abe was loving it.

Located in the deepest part of Honshu, Japan. Somewhere between Kyoto and Osaka lies a mountain so unknown, not a satellite has seen it.
For as long as mankind exists, this mountain's top is covered with unpenetrable clouds that shield it from any viewers.
On land, a barrier of locust-demon-magic surrounds the area, covering it from any unwanted visitor that comes near.
People who visit the place suddenly get thrown over with dark emotions that takes away all will for life, so they leave at once.

It is said that, at one point in history, evil spawned here. Supposedly a demon-king carved out his home in this dark mountain and released evil
in the human world for the first time.

Inside the mountain is an underground city, which bares a great resemblance to old Kyoto. Ancient japanese buildings scatter the long uninhabited grounds.

The battle starts outside, at the foot of the mountain you can go up, around or in the mountain.

Yama seems to be the worst out of the four, and that infuriates him. His flame grows brighter and he dashes forth. Goku sees the incoming, and gets ready to transform and Rollout, but Yama speeds up the assault. The first punch knocks Goku backwards, and the following beatdown keeps Goku at bay for a while.

The monkey fight allowed Baishin a few more moments with his coveted hover. A Water Pulse was summoned and fired as Yama backed away from his body. Goku was struck from the blindside, and rolled over, dazed.

Baishin smiled, but then a glowing amber light struck him, and with it came the fury of a thousand pains. He fell to the ground, bounced and slid down a muddy stop. Abe just shrugged, when was it ever going to learn?

Goku didn't even seem like it was capable of movement, but slowly he struggled to get up. He curled into a ball weakly, and rolled down the hill, hoping to gain enough momentum to roll up. But the mud was hard to roll on, and he stopped after a few revving attempts.

Abe quietly charges again, seeing this to be an easy fight. Goku hops up the muddy field, in order to get a better trajectory on Yama this time. It works as Goku rolls into a ball on level mud and sears across it, slamming into Yama. Yama falls backwards, holding his head. Baishin glares over at Ab-O jeez! Another Focus Punch to the face! Baishin's left eye covering is dented in now, it can't even see straight.

This is the last straw..as Baishin shimmers brightly. Abe watches, and suddenly is engulfed with a bursting steely revenge. Yama springs up, and runs over to Abe, striking him down again with a heavy handed Aerial Ace.

Abe backed off, quite hurt from that sudden attack. Baishin turned to face him now, just in case he tried anything else. The mud made it hard to get any good running starts, but Goku was high up enough to keep on Rolling out. Yama would learn this first hand as he was run over again by this crazed monkey! Baishin would then command the mud to raise up and blast Abe out of the area!

The blast commended, but Abe rode it forward, not backwards, and lunged for Baishin. They collided and Abe began beating down on Baishin's back, sinking him into the mud. Crazed Revenge, we call that.
