There are forces outside that which we see. Forces of good and evil that fight each other for control. For many millennia, these forces battled on a separate plane of existence. One small section of the evil forces stationed themselves on a plane close to our planet; their evil acts affected our plane of existence, causing many problems throughout the years. Seeing this, a section of the good forces came to defend our planet from these problems; they came to call themselves the Guardians, and dubbed their enemies simply as the Evils.

But a few centuries ago, the Evils discovered a way to enter our plane, causing even more horrible catastrophes in the world. Unable to directly manifest in our plane, the Guardians figured out a way to defend against the Evils. By bestowing power-filled bracelets to certain humans, these super-powered people could then fight off the evil minions, bringing peace to the land. The Guardians dubbed these people Kämpfer, literally 'Champions.'

The bracelets directly tied into the type of power the people received. The males would get red bracelets, based on physical fighting, and would be able to summon magical weapons to fight. The females, on the other hand, received blue bracelets, which allowed them to conjure magical spells of a certain type.

For many years, the Kämpfer would spring into action whenever evil found its way into the world. But after a time, while the Evils were busy planning, the Kämpfer started getting restless, and longed to use their power. Before long, the Kämpfer began fighting each other, trying to prove themselves better than the other. Unable to interfere, the Guardians watched, powerless, as the Kämpfer fought each other. Their power not only affected each other, but also the surrounding areas, causing massive death and destruction in the wake of the battles.

As the Kämpfer died off, either by old age or by being killed, the Guardians transferred their power to a new generation in hopes that they would not succumb to the same dark urges their predecessors did. Unfortunately, human nature doesn't change, and the Guardians knew they had to do something to stop the needless fighting.

Improving on their initial design, they created new white bracelets, unlike the colored two, that would be placed on unsuspecting people. When a conflict was detected between the other Kämpfer, these bracelets would activate, summoning a White Kämpfer from the person. The difference was the person who was host to a White Kämpfer had no idea that they were, thus they would not know about the power and be tempted to use it. On the other hand, this lack of connection to a person meant that the White Kämpfer were emotionless killing machines, hunting and killing the conflicting Kämpfer without thought or remorse. After a few of these White Kämpfer encounters, the Guardians were pleased to see that the other Kämpfer rarely fought each other.

It has been many centuries since the White Kämpfer were created, and now a new generation of Kämpfer have been chosen, this time in Tokyo, Japan. Not wanting to interfere directly anymore, the Guardians created avatars that would help inform new Kämpfer of their new identity and powers. These have been created in the form of animated stuffed animals and distributed to the chosen people over time.

Now the last of the chosen ones are about to be awoken. The last bracelets have made their way to their targets. They are about to enter the world of the Kämpfer, and must learn from their avatars and the Kämpfer that have already been awoken. Even in their confusion and shock, they must all learn to work together, for they are the new champions of the Guardians, the new saviors of humanity. They are...

Basically, you're one of the new generation of Kämpfer, the champions of the Guardians, chosen and given a stuffed animal avatar (it can move and talk to you) to guide you. The night upon receiving the avatar, your bracelet appears on you and you become your Kämpfer form, with the avatar explaining everything above. When you're new, the transformations happen under heavy emotional feelings or a nearby active Kämpfer, and can last for a couple hours up to an entire day; after a time you learn to control the changes, as quickly as a week or as long as a month.

Name: Mayonaka, Yuki
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Grade: 10th
Physical Appearance: Somewhat tall at 5'10" with a very lanky build and pale skin. He has long, straight dark-brown hair that goes down a little past his shoulder which he keeps in a low-tied ponytail. His eyes are green.
Typical Clothing: When not in school uniform, he's typically the kind to wear baggy bondage pants (with all the straps and chains), some kind of generic printed tee, and a set of headphones around his neck.
Personality: Yuki isn't exactly anti-social, he just doesn't try to make new friends a lot of the time. If he finds someone interesting he's good at extending his friendship. On the other hand, if someone wants to befriend him, he rarely turns them down. Because of this, he's usually the one to take the more leader-like role in any particular group, even with people he barely knows. He's the kind to never leave a friend behind, and trust that his friends would do the same for him. He's typically calm and collected, but there's the occasional problem that can send him into a panic attack.
History: Has had his bracelet for a couple months now (he was one of the first to get it); as such he can change at will, and has moderate control over his powers. Interestingly enough, he doesn't mind the alternate form (although the physical changes are a bit unsettling) as he was already fairly feminine in appearance and has been crossplaying for a couple years already. His exact words upon learning he could switch were, "Well, this'll make it easier to pass..."
Other: He's very into anime, geek, and gamer stuff, and tries to start conversations with people about it.

Weapon/Magic Type: Electricity; can fire balls of electricity at her targets, or can send a jolt into anything she touches.
Physical Appearance: Stays at 5'10", she (of course) gains larger breasts, but not giant ones, and stays about the same build besides that. Her hair is now a light brown, almost blond color, and is held in two low-tied ponytails which now reach mid-back. Her eyes are still green.
Changed Personality: Stays pretty much the same, but speaks more naturally female while in Kämpfer form. She seems to be more likely to find people to befriend in this form.
Other: Goes by Yasashisa, Yuki while in Kämpfer form.

Name: Suzuro Chiyo
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Grade: 10th
Physical Appearance: Five feet even, slim with a slight hourglass figure and medium-sized breasts that she hides with her clothing. Her dark brown eyes are framed with square-framed glasses. Her black hair goes halfway down her back.
Typical Clothing: She usually wears casual clothes, oversized T-shirts with slim jeans. Also wears a simple black choker.
Personality: She dislikes people in general, and prefers to stay invisible. She'll chase away guys with scathing remarks, but tends to just stay quiet around girls. This is because she's not into guys, but is unwilling to share this fact with anyone. Either way, she doesn't like anyone invading her private space and will slap any guy who gets too close. But underneath her cold exterior is a shy romantic with a love of dark anime and anime music, as well as fantasy literature. She's also prone to daydreaming.
History: She has only had the bracelet for a couple of weeks. She freaked out at first with her alternate form but now sees it as an "alter ego" with a more attractive side.
Other: Is a good singer, but don't expect her to willingly reveal that.

Physical Appearance: Her hair changes to a snowy white, and is worn in a high ponytail. Her eye color changes to blood red.
Changed Personality: Chiyo now has a bubbly personality and isn't afraid of human contact. She's also very forgetful, even though she quickly recalls forgotten information, and tends to blurt out comments that she means to keep to herself. And unlike Chiyo, her love of girls, especially cute ones, is obvious.
Other: Insists that people call her Chii-chan.

Name: Hisakawa Izumi
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12
Physical Appearance: Slim, and slightly tall at 5'8", she's got an above average bust which she generally attempts to cover up a bit with her clothes, as well as icy blue eyes and deep blue hair pulled back in a long pony tail to the small of her back.
Typical Clothing: When not in her school uniform, she tends to wear plain, conservative clothing that hides her figure.
Personality: Very kind, tends to act like a big sister to everyone, abhors violence, and suppresses any kind of violent thought or impulse she might have. Her hobbies include tailoring and tea, and she is known to randomly make 'adorable' clothes for other people, whether they want it or not. Is deeply disturbed by her bracelet, and would rather not have been chosen.
History: Has had her bracelet for about a week and a half.

Weapon/Magic Type: Her weapon as a Kämpfer is a wide bladed claymore, with a roughly five foot long blade, apparently made of sparkling blue crystal.
Physical Appearance: Her hair changes to a bright golden blonde, and she's a bit broader in build, and her left eye turns green and her right eye red
Changed Personality: When a Kämpfer, she goes from her usual personality to one that is belligerent and loves to fight, though not so belligerent as to not be able to cooperate with others.

Gender: Male
Age: 18

Physical Appearance: Stands at 5'10" with short and messy jet black hair and an average build. Has chocolate brown eyes.
Typical Clothing: His preferred choice of clothing is often a plain white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
Personality: He is often very relaxed and thoughtful. Although, sometimes these thoughts are quite random and out of place. He enjoys reading books, fanfiction, newspapers, etc. and watching most American cartoons.
History: Has gotten his bracelet just a month ago.

Name: Okada ( Mother's original surname ) Hikaru
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Grade: 10th
Physical Appearance: Hikaru has a lanky tall build, standing around 6' tall with long arms and legs that look more suited for a BBall player than a loner. His skin is pretty pale from staying in doors all the time although he keeps a clear complexion. He has hazel eyes and messy dark brown hair that tends to be uncut but it isn't long enough for a pony tail or anything, even though it tends to hang into his eyes. He has a small scar on his cheek from when he got into a fight in fifth grade.
Typical Clothing: He wears faded blue jeans, usually with a hole in the knee, along with various game company shirts he picks up at game conventions. These shirts tend to be one color like blue or gray and have the name of the company displayed across it. ( I have a ton of these )
Personality: Hikaru tends to take a loner attitude, keeping quiet and to himself, never really doing anything remarkable or noteworthy, because of this he tends to be the target of bullying. While he does have a loner attitude he can become very violent when pushed, violently beating some kids that have pushed him too far. He can crack jokes and be a open risk taking person, but he usually funnels all of that into his online video game characters which tend to represent the person he used to be. That being said the old Hikaru can show up from time to time.
History: Hikaru used to be a very very active young boy, he was nearly inseparable from his best friend and neighbor Chiyo. But at the age of 5 his family moved away, and he only kept in contact for Chiyo until he was ten. He lost his thrill for sports and the outside with his best friend not around and became more of a loaner in his room, taking up video games and tv when he was away from school. Last year his mother and father split, his mother moving his son back to their old house in hopes of getting completely away from their life in Hiroshima.

Even though he has been back he never tried to connect again with Chiyo, and had completely forgotten what she looks like. He still maintains his loner attitude having never dated a girl, or even seen a girl naked, and usually spends most of his time on his game console or watching television. He also has just received the bracelet when the RPG starts.

Weapon/Magic Type:Flamethrower that extends several feet from the palm of her hand.
Physical Appearance: Hikaru now a female has much softer features, her body is more curvy and obviously less masculine, having feminine hips and a B cup bust. Her hair has turned from dark brown to blond and extends to her lower back. She tends to be slender with out a hint of her athletic build, although she has shrunk in height down to around 5'4". She also no longer has the scar on her cheek. Her skin are also alot more healthy than Hikaru's normal form.
Changed Personality: Nothing much has changed, except she can become more aggressive in battle, she still has a very male type personality and can be severely turned off by boys hitting on her or her friends.

Name: Watanabe Hayato
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Grade: 11th (he got left back a year)
Physical Appearance: He stands at 5'11" with an athletic build and dark blue eyes. His darker blue hair runs a few inches down his neck and his bangs, which are usually swept to the right, run past his eyes.
Typical Clothing: At school he dresses plainly, wearing glasses and keeping his hair back in a low ponytail. When he's out of school, the glasses come off and his hair's let down. Outside of home, he usually wears button-down shirts with the top few buttons undone, ripped jeans and sneakers. At home, since it's a more traditional setting, he's stuck in a kimono and haori.
Personality: Hayato likes to keep to himself and tries not to stand out, but because of his good grades decent athletic ability and looks, girls can't seem to keep away from him. He's a bit of a misanthrope (doesn't like people) and prefers the company of animals, especially his multitude of birds. He has a short temper, but keeps it bottled up during school and at home, which causes him go into depression at times. He seems to find his birds and playing the violin as emotional outlet, allowing him to freely vent.
History: Ever since he was young, he was held up to high standards (although he didn't really mind) and was even arranged a marriage at the age of ten. Although his fiancée was fairly attractive, she was overbearing, high maintenance and overall annoying, when coupled with his fangirls at school, made him dislike female company, save for his mother, whom he tolerates.
When Hayato entered middle school, he began to get annoyed with the everyone at school, lashing out at them occasionally, and eventually getting held back a year due to constant suspensions in 8th grade. This didn't sit well with his parents and they nullified his engagement, which wasn't exactly a bad thing, but he began to be viewed as an outcast and received constant criticism from his father. Sometimes the constant verbal bashing was so bad that he went into depression at times and eventually found solace by talking to a random sparrow that landed outside his room.
He's hardly had his bracelet for a week and is having a difficult time controlling it.

Physical Appearance: Hayato doesn't change much physically; build stays the same, but his hair grows to shoulder-length and eyes turn into a colder blue-gray color.
Changed Personality: He's much more violent and lets out his rage without bottling it up.
Other: He shows a stronger distaste in girls.

We have guys playing females because for some of us it's fun, for some of us it's a challenge, and for some of us it feels more natural. Besides, half the females on this board tend to play males at least as often as they play females, so it's not like it's a total overload of femininity.

Although I agree with CT: I play the normal females; Roy takes the crazy/annoying ones. XP

Anyway, since Roy hasn't made any comments about anything, I'm going to assume that he also has approved of everyone else's sign-up/reservation. And since the Reds filled up faster than we expected, Roy and I have agreed that the remaining two sign-ups are open to whichever color people want, but we are going to limit it to only two more people (unless we get 3-4 more people interested all of a sudden, then we might raise it).

Name: Moto, Suzume
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Grade: 11
Physical Appearance: Suzume is quite the attractive girl, with a petite frame and fair skin. Her eyes are a beautiful and rare lilac colouration (yes they do exist). She doesn’t have much muscle on her, just slim with small curves that make her appealing to the eye. Her hair is long (coming down to just below the shoulders), layered, and straight while being dark brown with blond highlights in it (mixed into the layers as well).
Typical Clothing: Almost always seen in jeans (of the dark colour hues, and she would never be caught in a skirt [thus if they wear uniforms at school, she only wears the skirt because she's not singled out as the only girl wearing one], and rarely shorts…), with a variety of belts of all colourations (wooo rainbow seatbelt belt XD), and wearing oversized (large-size male) graphic tees displaying some sort of design. Outside of school the t-shirts will change to display game pictures, and at home it’s changed to plain spaghetti tops.
Personality: Suzume is shy, to the extent where she’ll go out of her way to avoid people and situations that involve talking or meeting someone new. It takes her a great amount of effort to summon the courage to talk to anyone, and even with her few and far between ‘friends’ (she has no real ones, just people who use her), she finds it difficult to speak up. For this she’s constantly overshadowed and ignored, she is kind to everyone though, even if they don’t deserve her kindness. She’s the sort of girl that gets stuck doing all the work in group projects because it’s so easy to overpower and control her. Most of the time Suzume keeps her eyes to the ground, looks a bit sad and avoids contact (if you were to talk to her she’s polite, quiet, and intimidated easily).
History: Suzume is quite the intelligent girl, though through her life she’s been overshadowed by her brother Yuu (who’s also the family favourite). Through that outlet she evolved a great, deep-rooted skill and love for art, being the only real way she can express herself. Her love for it is rivaled only by her distinct like for dancing, though she never dances in front of anyone (though she’s quite skilled at it, she’s too shy to show off her moves).
Her mother recently remarried (and remarried to a rather wealthy man), and the man has taken a liking to putting the poor girl on the spot, often the end result is her being embarrassed. She has withdrawn even more in her family, spending hours in her room playing a multitude of games, practicing dancing, or drawing/sketching/painting. She received her bracelet about three days ago, and has yet to learn how to control the change. Her avatar is a rather in-your-face, but understanding Chocobo plushie.
Due to the change though, hidden in the back of her closet is an assortment of jeans for a man, as her own might be a little… Tight…

Weapon/Magic Type: Dual Short-swords in the style of a Wakizashi Blade (The blades are both 24 inches long).
Physical Appearance: While Suzume stood at a mere 5’4’’, Minoru is 5’10’’, with an athletic, lean build and short, shaggy, black hair. His eyes are a darker purple with blue mixed into it. He also has a bit more of a tan than his female counterpart.
Changed Personality: Minoru is not quite as withdrawn as his female counterpart. In fact his personality is completely different. Unlike Suzume, he’ll gladly tell people to piss off and hates being manipulated or used. He has little to no patience for whiners, snobs, or other generally negative people. Of course, this being said he really acts as if he likes no one. He has a sarcastic reply for nearly anything and everything, though he tends to tone it down around people who can’t seem to handle it. Deep down he’s kind, like Suzume, but he’s not going to be walked all over like she’s so accustomed too. He’s also very prone to getting Suzume what she wants, even if that thing might get her in trouble later.
Other: Goes by Minoru while in her male form, and she’s Suzume love for art, and particular dance. His fighting style reflects this.

Name: Izuruha, Tsubine Shinji
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
Physical Appearance: Tsubine is around 5'6 to 5'8 and a slight muscular build. He has almost spiky dark-brown hair, but normally doesn't mess with it much, only for school and formal occasions, in which he'll use some kind of gel to keep it down. His hair is always trimmed as well. He was deep blue eyes.
Typical Clothing: Since Tsubine lived in the States for a while, he carried over his attire from there. When not at school, he will be wearing a black or tan sports coat or just a casual shirt, and in formal circumstances he wears a blue Armani suit.
Personality: Tsubine is at times quite shy, especially around girls. Also, he is a quite talkative and won't shut up when nervous. This is normally when he meets new people and around girls he has a crush on though. Tsubine also has a slight obsession with the Lamborghini Diablo, and hopes to obtain one one day. He also spends a good bit of time putting together models, most of them Mecha. He can also be a complete jerk when pissed off and can easily make people scared of him due to his temper.
History: When Tsubine was just a few months old, his family moved to the United States for most of his life. He was around 14 when they returned to Japan, specifically Okinawa. He spent a few more years there, learning what Japanese he did not know. He then moved to Tokyo, while his family stayed in Okinawa, due to his father being very sick with cancer. When Tsubine arrived in Tokyo, he was 16 and still he hadn't grown any from when he lived in the USA. By the time he was 18, he had a very intricate apartment near a train station. He has had his bracelet for one month and can sometimes change on his own will, but he also still randomly transforms.
Other: Tsubine rarely stays indoors at his apartment. Instead, he'll hike some of the trails in Aokigahara. He plans to major in things that will get him into International Affairs.

Bracelet Type/Gender: Blue/Female
Weapon/Magic Type: When in Kampfer form, Tsubine can shoot (like darts) small pieces of ice shaped like spikes. The ice will melt if Tsubine is not concentrating enough. They are very sharp and can pierce skin and break glass easily. As of now, Tsubine can fire seven of the "Ice Darts" at once.
Physical Appearance: Tsubine goes into a larger change than most people, his hair turns from the normal to a near-white blond and extends to the upper back. He gets a C-Cup sized bust and a very attractive and slim form. He/She also now has almost-glowing green eyes. Tsubine also stays the same height.
Changed Personality: Tsubine's Kampfer form, he calls her "Haruhi Minazuki Kojima", is less shy and at times, a bit seductive. She'll take no crap from anyone and can be a tease when it comes to a relationship. She also becomes more of an airhead but is still serious at times. She also is sadistic, pinning the opponent down and then torturing them slowly by adding more and more "Ice Darts" until Endohypothermia (it probably does not exist, but I don't care), which is where only the insides, mainly the blood vessels, grown extremely cold and/or freeze; or until they bleed out. She rarely lets a downed opponent live.
Other: She hates the forests, so she doesn't go hiking.
