Misdreavus looks at Vandal, then starts singing a melody for all to hear. Suddenly the notes start sounding creepy and haunting, and Misdreavus lets loose some black waves along the sound waves. The waves travel into Vandals ears and he gets surrounded by a sort of crimson static that starts to drain his health away. Misdreavus, however, has the static over her as well, as she's not immune from her own song. With the song over, Vandal charges Misdreavus with another shadowy claw aura, hurting her decently.

Misdreavus is now feeling really drained, and she floats down to the ground and sleeps. She focuses and recovers health, but doesn't have quite enough energy to maximize her healing efforts; it's still pretty close, though. Irritated that his opponent is now sleeping, Vandal slashes with yet another aura of a claw. He finally has the Taunting voices in his head stop.

Both Pokémon leave this last turn a boring one as they both relax. They both recover energy, then suddenly cry out in pain as the crimson static hurts them.
