This city has it all: Pokemon Center, PokeMart, Gym, the Glitter Lighthouse, warm, sandy beaches, cafe, heck, if you had time, you could probably even go to the Moo Moo Farm on Route 39 and go milk Miltank or the Battle Tower located on Route 40. However, a newly constructed building has been attracting attention from the media lately: The Pokemon Academy of Olivine City, was originally a wealthy private school, shortened to PA by most of the staff and students. The Board of Directors decided to change their ways and has been offering scholarships out to qualified Trainers around the world, from Kanto to Sinnoh, even the Pokemon barren Orre.

Pokemon Academy itself is a masterpiece created by the best of architects. Wrought iron gates and fences surround the campus. Lush gardens, elegant courtyards, and expensive looking statues and fountains are erected all around the school. The biggest building is a building your core, academic classes, but there are several other buildings behind it, which include the dorms, a domed building for art and music electives, large fields, and stadiums for sports and battling; all state-of-art facilities.

You have been accepted into this amazing school, be it from a scholarships or from familial ties, and you have received this letter in the mail along with your winter and summer uniforms (blue and white with a ribbon and cap if you're a guy, red and white with a tie and beret if you're a girl), a plastic ID card, and a PokeDex.

Congratulations! On behalf of the Admissions Committee, it is my pleasure to inform you that you have been admitted to Olivine's Pokemon Academy. To reserve your place in the class, please be sure to return the form before the due date, with your payment. While we hope to hear from you by the date on your form, applicants will be granted an extension, upon written request for as long as you need to up to December 1st. Any condition(s) that may have been placed on your acceptance are enclosed. Please read these carefully. Unless otherwise indicated, all conditions must be met for registration, or you may not be permitted to register. However, there are some things you need to know about first.

YOUR ID CARD

This flimsy piece of plastic is crucial, the most important part of your stay here in Pokemon Academy. This is the key to your dorm room, your ticket to lunch (if you signed up for a meal plan), and a point tracker for points that can be used in the school store. Please be cautious and do not lose it. You may be reissued a new card, however that will come with a penalty of 10 points.

DORMS

There are 3 floors per dorm and 2 people to a room. There is a PC and TV for personal usage in each room, but you are free to bring other electronics with you from home, such as laptop computers and video game consoles, but please keep this within reason. There is a common room and kitchen on each floor.

SCHOOL STORE

The school store is a student-run facility where students may purchase rare items and PokeBalls for their Pokemon. You may use your points here, however, your points may be taken away through misconduct.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer you my personal congratulations on your acceptance to Pokemon Academy. You may bring one Pokemon with you. A schedule, student handbook, and map of campus are enclosed with this letter. Your room assignments will be posted on the bulletin board outside your dorm. I wish you success in your pursuit for higher education. It will be a pleasure seeing you on April 1st.

Name: Suzuki, Kaito
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Personality: Kaito's cold, distant, and misanthropic. He hates attention and noise, and prefers to keep to himself, the only exception being his twin sister, Meiko, but even then, he doesn't converse much, however, he's very protective of her and will resort to violence if she's hurt. Kaito doesn't have many friends, and doesn't really care for them anyway. He seems to have a slight problem with taking orders, but doesn't usually make a big deal out of it. He has a strong dislike for women in general, because of what happened with his mother.
Appearance: [link] He has spiky blonde hair, his fringe ending at just about his eyes and the rest ending at about the nape of his neck. He has bright blue eyes and stands at 5”4' with a slightly muscular build, but you can't really see it under the uniform. His left ear is pierced. He doesn't really like the uniform, so his tie and shirt collar are loose and he leaves his jacket open, which leads him to get into trouble with some of his teachers.
Background: Kaito grew up in Goldenrod City with his father and sister, helping out with the family restaurant in the Underground. He and his mother were very close, he often worked in the kitchen instead of waiting on customers. However, his mother walked out on the family to go live with her lover when they were 8 years old, crushing the twins and driving their father into a state of depression. Ever since then, he's been wary of women and their charms. He sent in an application to PA immediately when he saw an offer for scholarships to bring some of the burden off his father. Even though he seems to hate company and school, he loves Pokemon deep down in his heart and wants to become a Pokemon League Champion. He's actually very bright and does well in class without studying.

Name: Higa, Tsubame
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Personality: Tsubame's a bit of an airhead, constantly daydreaming in and out of class. She's a bit of a pushover when it comes to favors and is somewhat shy, but tries her best to make people happy at her own expense. Even though she was advised not to, she is willing to be friends with just about anyone, no matter how sketchy they seem.
Appearance: [link] She has bright red hair that waves and turns up at the ends and jade green eyes. She stands at exactly 5 feet. Her perfect posture's a result of her upbringing. She has an honest face, and innocent demeanor which seem to catch people off-guard.
Background: Tsubame's from a well-to-do family in Blackthorn City, and she's never had to lift a finger to do anything before. However, she realized after a fight with an old friend that things can't always go her way, so she started offering to do chores and help her maids in secret, since her parents would disapprove of their little angel doing housework. She eventually took up the responsibility of taking care of an injured Vulpix she found in he backyard, became fast friends with her, and successfully captured her. Although she paid her way into the Academy, she has some talent with Coordinating, but doesn't see it as her true calling, preferring to sing.

Name: Maeda, Sakura
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Personality: Sakura is a cheerful, bubbly young woman who loves kids and history, even though it's a bit of a dry subject. She would go out of her way to help any student, and she often scolds her husband for being too harsh on his students, significantly lightening their punishment. Sakura acts as a foil to Aoi, her angelic looks and personality offsetting his demonic ones. She treats all of her students as if they're really her children, and loves them to death even if they do get unruly. She's a bit of a bookworm, but lately her time's been stretched thin, taking care of her one year old daughter, Aiko and paperwork from school.
Appearance: She has long, waist length pink hair that's usually clipped up and blue-gray eyes. She stands at 5”5' with a slim, petite build. Instead of wearing uptight dress suits, she prefers wearing light-colored dresses and heels.
Background: Sakura's a fairly new teacher, only having about two years of experience, since she gave birth to Aiko and went on maternity leave. She's always had an interest in history, and traveled the world for a year in college to visit places such as the Ruins of Alph and the Cave of Origin in Hoenn. There's been some scrutiny over her and Aoi's marriage between the students, since they're unable to believe that two drastically different people could be so close. She follows the escapades of the Mystical Man, Eusine, closely and admires him, much to her husband's dismay.

Name: Yokino, Hideki
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Personality: A dark almost sinsister being. But this isnt his true identity. All he is really looking for is somone to love and to love him back. All his life he has been ignored nd unwanted. He tries not to talk, and only answers questions when he thinks they arent stupid. He would be nicer but no else has been nice to him, even when he starts out somwhere new. He hopes that Pokemon Academy would be different. Is very argumentative, and doesnt like to agree to stuff that isnt fair. Can be stubborn to the part where it is annoying. But all he looks for is a friend.
Appearance: Wears the uniform above his 5'7 muscular body. Has black hair and indigo eyes, and has pale skin. Always has dark marks under his eyes, making him look evil. He wears black gloves and black boots, strying away from the uniform.

Other: Loves to read and is quite romantic, but know one knows he is intelligent or nice because nobody converses with him.
Relationships: No he isnt related bloodwise to anyone, but is looking for a friend.

Name: Suzuki, Meiko
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Personality: Is very close to her brother Kaito, only because she feels like he needs to be comforted. Itherwise she is very fun and loving. She usually makes mistakes, but knows what to do after the first try. She is a strong willed girl and hates attention, but will speak her mind if she has to.
Appearance: A complete girl. She wears the uniform, and has medium length wavy blonde hair. Doesn’t wear too much makeup, for she is only thirteen. Has not too much jewelry either. But she does wear a heart necklace that has a picture of her father in it.
Background: Grew up in Goldenrod city with Kaito her brother, and father. Her mother walked out but Meiko is too heartbroken to ever talk about her. She helps her father out a lot with the house and cooking, but now that she is going to the Pokemon Academy, she was devastated when she had to leave. But knew it would be better for him when they were gone so he could build up his strength alon, without someone to baby him.

Other: Usually beats a lot of the boys at sports and battles. She is very smart and strategic.

Name: Guriko, Harkai
Age: 26
Gender Male
Personality: An easy going teacher, and quite funny at sometimes. Hates it when people are disrespectful. Loves a good joke and knows a good sense of humor. His teachings are nice and easy for kids to understand.
Appearance: Is tall around 6’2 with a muscular build due to all the fitness training he does. He wears his own style of the uniform, but in a Phusical Education sense. Has a white underarmor material like shirt, and shorts. Both are white with blue lining and the symbol of the school in the upper left. He has messy black hair, a good tan, and a soul patch on his chin. Looks younger than 26.
Background: Grew up at public schools, and was a star student. He grew older and was accepted right away to be the Physical Education Teacher, and lived there ever since.
Specialization: Physical Education Teacher
Pokemon: Lucario(Focus), Medicham(Medi), Hitmontop(Spin), Machamp(Arnold), Hariyama(Sumo), Primeape(Kong)
Other: Has never really loved someone., except his fighting pokemon. He talks to them like they are his closest friends. Lucario is the only one that understand though. (haha lol)
Relationships: Makes friends with most of the kids, at least the ones that get on his good side.

[Roy Karrde]

Name: Tachibana Miyu
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Personality: When she first arrived at the academy she was happy and excited to set out to make a name for herself and gain the same recognition as her brother has. After multiple missteps that excitement slowly drifts away to solemn quietness as she attempts to not ruin her brother’s name. She will usually carry around a hand book for Pokemon battles and can be seen studying up between classes and at night. Because she is walking and reading the handbook she tends to be a bit clumsy at times, this can also happen because of the incredible amount of stress she is under, causing her to over compensate for things and ends up failing.
Appearance: She has a very petite appearance, her hair tends to be down to slightly above her mid back, having dyed it dark green like a Chikorita leaf, she wears the typical school outfit, with a small book on Pokemon battling tucked away on her Pokemon belt. She has hazel eyes and stands around 4’10”. She some times has scrapes on her arms or legs from falling or bumping into things while reading her book.
Background: Being the younger sister, she has always lived in the shadow of her talented brother, at a young age she watched her brother leave for the academy with much fan fare, having scored some top scores on the early exams. Her parents have always fawned over her brother, talking up his achievements, when she was finally old enough to become a trainer she got her started Pokemon and headed to the Academy. Even though she knows nothing about battling, or Pokemon types, or anything really a trainer needs, she was accepted in because of her brother’s fame.

Other: Her brother remains one of the top trainers of the Academy, already in his forth year he is considered to be one of the top contenders to be a Pokemon League champion in the next few years.
Relationships: She develops a bit of a friendship with the teacher Maeda Sakura after she stops her from being picked on

Name: Maeda Aoi
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Personality: The teachers believe he crawled out of hell, and that tends to be a apt description of his personality, he is strict, mean, hateful, and can be a terror for any student that doesn’t live up to his high expectations. He is known to whack students on the head with a ruler in class, assign lengthy amounts of homework, and excessive detention just to spite a student. And if he really holds a grudge he will work to get that student kicked out of school. Aoi has a softer side that he only shows his wife, but the students almost never get to see that. Leading them to wonder how the two could ever get together, and how any deity could make such a cruel human being.
Appearance: He is a towering haunting man, standing around 6’4” he can tower over nearly any student. His long black hair goes to his neck if it was untied, but it is almost always in a pony tail. He wears the typical suit and tie of a teacher, but wears it in such a fashion that makes him look uptight and angry. He is always standing straight up with his hands behind his back, peering down at students. He wears a small set of glasses that tends to be pushed down on his nose so that he can gaze down with disgust. He also has a small scar on his right cheek, the students claim that he got it as he climbed out of hell, but only he and his wife know the true story.
Background: He went to Pokemon Academy right out of college, before that he was a assistant teacher at a local high school, assisting in a Chemistry class. This is where he met his wife, and where he gained his scar. He has always had a interest in chemistry, nearly burning down his house at a young age while messing with his first chemistry set.
Specialization: Chemistry Teacher ( Possibly Battle )

Other: He takes great pride in Miyu’s brother, believing him to be one of the best students he has ever taught. Her brother is also one of the few students he is nice to. Because of that he absolutely hates Miyu and sees it as his job to eject her from the school to protect her brother’s good name.

Name: L. Coyle, Sebastian (Thats Sebastian.L.Coyle)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Personality: Sebastian is quite an energetic person who likes to get right into it. He is easily excitable, but will try and keep this side of him suppresed so he doesn't look like a complete idiot.
Appearance: He stands about 5'10" with short wavy brown with bright green eyes like 2 emerald crystals. He normally dons a black cap with his favourite baseball teams insignia on it, the Lisen Lucarios. His top also bears the Lucarios symbol but the colour is white instead of gold, while on his legs he usually goes for a long pair on stonewashed jeans. He also carries a pair of dark black sunglasses and a pair of fingerless gloves.
Background: Sebastian is an exchange student from his home country of Kaloem, he was given a special exchange scholarship to go to the illustrious Olivine Pokemon Academy. He travelled around his home country with his pokemon team defeating all the gym leaders of the Kaloem region and once he had done it he recieved this invitation. But unfortunately due to team constraints he was only allowed to bring one pokemon with him and this was Muddly who was his very first pokemon.

Pokemon: Mudkip (Muddly Kippington the Fourth, Wears a Top hat, with a tuxedo suit, a monocle and hold a cane. Speaks in a British accent)

Name: Kusunagi, Leiko
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personality: Leiko is quite arrogant and annoying but only to all her students who see her as a hard ass. But to her pokemon she is quite soft and cuddly making her almost schitzophrenic. In short her pokemon adore her, her students fear her and the other teachers think she is a bit weird.
Appearance: Leiko stands just over 6'2" with short black hair and a bit of a weird look in her eyes. She normall wears a short sleeve white shirt and a pair of ordinary blue jeans.
Background: Leiko was born into an almost middle class farming family. During her child hood she became really attached to the pokemon on the farm and then became quite secluded in her little pokemon world. This caused her to become more and more isolated from other people so she became more hostile towards other people. She became the breeding teacher at Olivine Academy due to her skills not for her personality.

Name: Nagisa, Karen
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Personality: Bubbly and cute, but not a total airhead. She cares deeply for any living thing, Pokémon or human, and can't stand to see them hurt. Easily makes new friends and loves to keep them.
Appearance: She is an average girl for her age, just starting to grow up. Her light brown hair is slightly wavy, reaches to her shoulder blades, and is usually kept in two low pigtails. Her eyes are a bright blue color and seem to sparkle with enthusiasm and excitement; she wears a round, thin-framed pair of glasses. Usually has her fingernails painted bright colors (such as blue to match her eyes).
Background: Karen comes from the wealthy Nagisa family who lives in the city of the same name (note: English Translation of the city is Sunyshore). The Nagisa family is the one responsible for planning and overseeing the construction of the raised solar-panel roads that cover and power the city.

Other: She's kind of a bookworm, always studying up on what the Pokémon she encounters like and dislike.
Relationships: Hiro is her brother.

Name: Nagisa, Hiro
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Personality: On the surface, Hiro is a hot-headed battler who likes to jump in on everything that's a challenge. However, he actually has the talent and skill to come out ahead in most of the things that he would challenge, and also knows which battles he won't be able to win and to stay out of. He likes making friends, but makes sure he gets strong ones, either with strong battling or a friendship that will be strong for a while.
Appearance: Tall for his age, but lanky and not muscular at all. Unlike his sister, his hair is dark brown and short, somewhat spiky but naturally so. His eyes are a deep green color, yet seem to be burning with a fiery passion to be the best. He has a pair of shades which he saves for when he's close to victory.

Pokemon: Magnemite (named Nano)
Other: Despite his gung-ho battle demeanor, he is actually quite intelligent and has a very fast thinking process as to the best strategy to use.
Relationships: Karen is his sister.

Gender: Male
Personality: Although he looks relaxed, even aloof, he takes a lot of pride in his work and is not afraid to speak up and say what (he thinks) needs to be said. His big, not-so-loud mouth has gotten him into trouble, and he tends to be a magnet for all sorts of trouble even if he doesn't do anything. But he doesn't hesitate to take responsibility for the trouble he causes, and will do anything to resolve the matter.
Appearance: A slightly slim appearance, standing at 4'10". He has a feminine face, with soft blue eyes and brown hair that is pulled back in a very short ponytail. Typical school uniform, with a blue contest ribbon attached to the collar that his mother won in her youth. Can be seen sometimes twirling a leek.
Background: Sora was raised by his parents, a mother with a love of contests and father with a penchant for Pokemon watching. Both are lovers of bird Pokemon, and Sora is no exception. A recruiter happened to see Sora assist in the battling and capturing of a tough Fearow and decided to let the boy attend the school by means of a scholarship. This was due to Sora and his Farfetch'd having been chased through the forest by said Fearow, showing great endurance and courage once the two decided to face the bird.

Gender: Male
Personality: Friendly, yet quiet and prefers to be by himself and his Pokémon. Has a creative and imaginative mind most of the time, but other times it's logistical and deep. Often will say that's he's a neutral party unless in a Pokémon battle, then he's all but neutral.
Appearance: Short, messy black hair and wearing glasses. Stands tall at 5 ft. 10 in. wearing a green t-shirt, black jeans, and white tennis shoes. Imprinted on the front of the shirt is a giant purple eye, the same eye represented for the Psychics in the Pokémon TCG. (Image)
Background: Akira's the cousin of Sinnoh Elite Four member Lucian. For as long as he could remember, he's always admired and respected Lucian's mastery over Psychic-type Pokémon and hopes that one day, he'll obtain the same level of fame and mastery. Thanks to his cousin, Akira got an almost instant scholarship into Pokémon Academy the first moment he said he just wanted to be like his cousin someday.

Name: Takeuchi, Hiromu
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Personality: Very bubbly and energetic. Practically has a happy smile glued onto her face and is always in a sunshine-like mood. You really, really don't want to make her upset or angry or else a detention is the least of your worries from her.
Appearance: Has long, waist-length, fire red hair tied in a pink bow. At 5 ft. 9 in. she wears a white blouse and yellow dress with crystal blue heels. Has a random flower perched on her left ear. The flower she perches on the ear changes daily.
Background: She's the newest, and youngest teacher on the block so most of the other teachers will be showing her the ropes of what's going on inside the Academy and what to do. She's as much a student as all the other younger students in the Acedemy, in other words.
Specialization: Basic Breeding
Pokemon: Clefable (Pixie), Bellossom (Bloom), Milotic (Princess), Dusknoir (Shadow), Skarmory (Wing), Pachirisu (Acorn)
Other: Her ultimate weakness: horror books and movies. The scarier, the better!
