I think it's everyone who has their "standard" title. Some people have both a custom and standard title for some reason. Shazza and VP both have both.

Its why pokeballs show up for mods on the whos online section . because they're part of the user name not the custom title

Seriously though, I think you set it so that mods' names are always displayed with balls next to them. Hence why the balls are showing up in active users, who's online, etc.

2002... That was a great year for me on TPM (in spite of the EZBoard).

And it was also a great year for other reasons. Funny that it was also the year my country's economy collapsed. But many good things happened to me on that year.

Edit: H_L, I like challenges. There's no fun in catching pokemon with a master ball. I prefer to train a pokemon to a high level and overpower the wild pokemon, then catch it with a level ball.

Hrhm, point, but nothing quiet beats the thrill of ones game freezing momentarily with a SSSHRU and coming out with unlimited items. I prefer to breed and raise from scratch anyway ^_^

I began working at Expedia, we had Charmander Central, Dragon Tamers was active and full of life, a lot of cool people were here, and then I was modded (together with Amy).

Now, if I remember correctly, the post ranks were...

0-249 (Beginning Trainer)
250-499 (Junior Trainer)
500-999 (Cool Trainer)
1000-2499 (Advanced Trainer)
2500-4999 (Elite Trainer)
5000-9999 (Master Trainer)
10000+ (Veteran Trainer)

...Or something like that. I don't recall the names for all of them.


EDIT: Double-checked the ranks (thanks, Christen!) and added "Cool Trainer," the one I originally didn't remember.

I want pokeballs. D: But it's only giving me the option to have either my avatar, or the pre-defined ones - the pokeballs. I'm too attached to my icons to have nothing... is there no way to have both like other people have? And a custom title too?

Nah you ain't the only one. I'm getting that kind of a feeling too in regards to this place. In any case the balls are still a bit of a mystery. I've got my normal rank, custom title and balls......hmm.....

In any case I've got some suggestions for a more "modern" looking update if Red is working on them :

Beginning-1 Pokéball
Junior-2 Pokéballs
Cool-3 Great Balls
Advanced-4 Great Balls
Elite-5 Ultra Balls
Master-6 Ultra Balls
Vet-7 Ultra Balls
Mods-8 Master Balls
Super Mods-9 Master Balls
Admins-10 Master Balls

I think it'll work well for a fresher looking TPM since the main site is back and we're actually starting to get some fresh blood around here ^_~

EDIT: I think it's just certain groups of postcount-levels don't have the balls yet. H_L is in the 1000-2499 range, everyone else that's posted is either above or below that.

I think what happened there is they got accidentally uploaded as default avatars instead of as just user rank icons.

But I looked around and found that Beginner Trainers also do not have Pokéballs. I think it's just because certain postcount groups haven't been assigned their Pokéball images yet.

I think Gabi's starting with the groups at the highest postcounts and working her way down, then moving to the staff groups last. That seems to be the way it's going, at least. It'll just take a little time.
