Well as the title states, cause MLG is a snitch, I'm here to ref. Classy and Darth are ready to rumble-and well, let's begin.

Gaia shot across the grass field, headed straight for Shade. Shade waited patiently,as Gaia shot past and began dancing around him, faux blocking and slashing with his arms. When the Dance was complete, and Gaia now stationary, a glob of poison splattered all over his chest. Shade sneered eerily, happy to have waited.

Shade: -2E ===//=== Gaia: -3E +2 Atk

Stretching from the rock, Shade fired off a kaleidoscope of colors in the sky. These waves began to rain down on Gaia, whom dove forth and grabbed the keystone anchoring Shade. He released it after the waves stopped, and Shade looked at his opponents feet. Wobbly. Yeap, he was confused. But there was this nice little set of vines around his keystone.

Shade looked back at Gaia whom was rooting in the ground for some reason. Pleased the Confuse Ray worked, Shade fired a thick orb of darkness at the unassuming lizard. The hit caused Gaia to sail left, crashing a few feet away.

Gaia winced (2) but felt better as Shade twitched (3)

Gaia, still dizzy from earlier, tried to focus on the actual opponent. Shade smiled at the confused Pokemon and calmly assessed the situation. Gaia however fell flat on his face, still dazed.

Still figuring out every possible angle, Shade powered up again. Gaia shook his head, and well, he kinda gave up on fighting. Curling up a bit, he went straight to sleep. Yay for him..I guess?

As he slept, Gaia attained a sort of clairvoyance. I say this becasue Shade easily charged up a massive Pulse of Energy, and fired it at the still gecko. The Dark Pulse would have connected, and Gaia not suddenly evaded with the Agility of a gazelle! Unbelievably fast.

Still snoozing away, Gaia tries to utilize his mental autopilot in order to attack. However, he's a sitting duck for being called a tertiary Geico replacement. Even in sleep, that ticks him off, and all he can do really is fidget in his sleep!

Pissed off about that still-that Snaps Gaia right out of his dream. But that doesn't help matters any he still just wants to break the ghost off that rock and disembody that spirit. Shade just spins in place and weaves a Safeguard around it. Pretty fast too.

Since he was free from sleep again, Gaia was quick to charge up a green sphere of nature's best! The orb slammed into Shade, and Shade shrugged the majority of it off. A purple sphere was charged in retaliation, and that counter seemed much stronger than usual. It flew off in an erratic path, splashing across Gaia's back and causing immense pain.

Now awake, Gaia was quick to rectify the wrongs done to him. Shade didn't seem to care, in fact...yeah he went to sleep! Gaia effortlessly sucked away a bunch of strength from Shade...and used it for his own.

Hellz no! He seemed better off then before. Gaia wasn't having that and planted a second set of seeds on Shade. The uncomfortable seed ground its way in that keystone and that woke Shade right up. Pissed about that, a Shadowball was fired at Gaia for his treachery.

As it kept wriggling around, Shade kept stretching and looking down, trying to remove it. But when you have no arms and legs, that's pretty damn annoying. It ignored Gaia, even as an Energy Ball came and slammed into his back.

Gaia tried to calm his rage for the moment-raising its arms up and creating a veil of energy. But no. That stinking ghost just does not shut up. However, he kept it together-his speed coming into lay to help finish that Safeguard. That worry seed helped as well, as Shade couldn't really be affective with that Taunt.

Shade didn't mind the incoming at first, as Hypnosis waves were thrown at Gaia. Gaia slowed down, and seemed to stumble in his step as he neared Shade. Shade smirked, only to be horribly shocked when Gaia lunged for him, and then split into 4! Shade was surrounded..OMG SEED!

Gaia watched as the jittery Shade was out of options right now. That seed felt like it was going to break his keystone in two! He raored and tried to push the seed out, but then he felt grass pull at his body, keeping him from fighting that seed. Augh torture

Safety in numbers. That's the game Gaia played, and she played it well. They all encircled the stationary, fidgety ghost and shrieked. This forced Shade to not only forget about the seed, but to deal with the ear splitting noise.

Shade was irate now. With all that pent up aggression, a powerful Dark Pulse was fired at the clone to his northwest. The quartet swirled their hands in front of each other, before they all rotated on their left back heel-avoiding the blast. Perfect detection.

Shade tried to Calm Down, and for a moment, he was able to achieve his nirvana. Only a moment, because an grassy napalm strike came raining from above, slamming Shade forward a bit from its seemingly increased prowess.

Gaia took a moment to watch the writhing Shade, in all his uncertainty. Although he was in complete Torment from that infectious Seed, it seemed to bother her a tad. No matter! Seeds were spat up and then swung at with her tail, creating a barrage of grass that Shade would have to suck up and deal with!

Shade stopped writhing, as that was his plan, fool her with his true torture. Gaia went for a second volley, but alas, she seemed to have forgotten what was it she did. In lieu of her confusion, Shade went for the Hypnosis! However, the Hypnosis waves bounced off the Safeguard, saving that clone from extinction.

Stuck once more, Shade could only writhe in agony, as the quartet now rallied their Seed Bombs in unison. Man, sucks to be him.

Under the pain of that Worry Seed, Shade felt at home attacking rather than resting. Not to mention he couldn't. A Dark Pulse was charged up, but then a counteractive Flash of light blinded him. He couldn't see. As such, that Pulse fired high and to the left of Gaia.

Gaia and her crew decided that they needed to end Shade now. Shade was still swinging around wildly, and Gaia took that to her advantage. Grass streaked up and around Shade, pinning him to the ground. Shade fired off a Shadowball, and a clone was ripped away from the battle.

The blinding lights began to fade, and for a split second Shade saw green. He swelled up a Dark mass of energy, and fired it at the green he saw. The green faded, and then suddenly--a barrage of green fell all around him. Shade's head was spinning, this was not the battle he was expecting!
