Hammer

"You're going to lead me to those Dragonballs." Rothax stated, pointing at Hammer. However, before he could even open his mouth to respond, he was knocked unconscious by a surprise attack from the powerful alien.

When Hammer awoke, the scenery had changed dramatically. He felt himself lying on a smooth, flat surface of white tiles. Above him was a flawless blue sky, devoid of clouds or birds. Hammer took a long, drawn breath of the air. He noticed it was thin, suggesting high altitude. As his vision cleared, he could also see a few deliberately planted trees around him, despite being on a non-earthen surface. His head still thumping a bit from the blow he had taken earlier, Hammer slowly sat up. As he looked around, he surveyed a rather grim situation. Gamma, the Android, was in pieces. Basawe, Shitagi, and Zaito were battered and bruised. Hammer suspected that he had missed an intense battle. As he looked around for the others that had been part of their group, Furuto landed softly in their midst.

"Welcome to the Lookout." He said.

"The Lookout..." Hammer thought to himself, "The home of the Guardian? Why did Furuto bring us here?"

As Hammer remained puzzled, he spotted another Namek walking toward the group of warriors. He carried a wooden scepter and wore plain robes. Hammer had never seen him, but recognized instantly who he was.

Kuji...

"Greetings Earth's warriors. I'm sorry if this all seems a bit strange, but all will be explained shortly, but please make yourselves at home and rest. I will send Furuto to collect senzu beans for your injuries." Kuji said, motioning for Furuto to execute his task. Furuto bowed, and turned to take off. He was interrupted by Shitagi.

"Who are you?"

"This is Kuji, Guardian of the Earth and creator of the Dragonballs." Furuto answered, turning his head back and lifting off into the air. In an instant he was gone, leaving the others to stare at Kuji in their perplexion.

"Well then, shall we move inside where it is more comfortable?" Kuji spoke to the group. "Mr Popo has prepared a warm meal to sate your hunger and nourish your bodies. Please follow me."

As everyone climbed to their feet and began to walk toward the palace, Hammer stood but remained stationary. He did not know why he, or the others, were brought here, but he wanted answers. As he stood there, Kuji sensed his uneasiness and turned around.

"Everyone, please continue inside. I am sure you will find your way by the smell of the food!" Kuji said with a chuckle, allowing the others to pass. As they reached the large entryway of the palace's foyer, Kuji stood in front of Hammer.

"What troubles you brother?" Kuji asked, looking up at the much taller Hammer.

"Many things..." Hammer replied in his deep but soft-spoken voice, "firstly why have you brought outsiders here? The Lookout is the home of the Guardian, a sacred place. I do not understand why you would willingly let them set foot on these grounds."

Sorry for abruptly ending the post here, but I am exhausted and need sleep. I'll continue it tomorrow morning.
