Best Pokemon season?

^____^ so a lovely friend of mine for my 21st bought me season 5 of pokemon master quest.

I haven't had time to watch it and I wont' for a while.

Is it any good? Are there better seasons to watch?

Johto Journeys IMO is much better than Master Quest

It's simply concluding the Jhoto section of the anime, which lasted for three seasons, it starts with The Whirl Cup, and ends with Ash going to Hoenn alone. So, you might see many Pokemon with ash you didn't see him catch, and some will be missing, it's also the last season of the original series.

Battle Frontier is the best season after Johto, but you have to watch the previous to get familiar with the new characters.

The Whirl Cup was a Water Pokemon tournament stationed in the Whirl Islands. (it was between Olivine and Cianwood City if you didn't know/remember) It's a more realistic-looking archipelago, which looks like it was based off of Hawaii, than the ones in the games which look like 4 symmetrical islands. If I remember correctly, Misty placed in the top 8 and Ash placed in the top 16.

Yeah, I liked Johto Journeys a lot, but then it went pretty downhill after that. Battle Frontier was good for nostalgia, but Ash doesn't visit any of his old Pokemon or friends, which upset me.

I remember when I was a little kid that I got pissed off when Ash released his Pidgeot... IT'S A PIDGEOT MAN WHY WOULD YOU LET IT GO?!

But then I think that kind of gets made up by the fact he has a Staraptor now (I THINK, I honestly stopped outright watching after Master Quest.)

I almost cried when he released his Pidgeot. He could've honestly gotten it back at any time whenever he went back to Pallet Town, but he always had another flying type to "replace" it. (Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor at the moment)

They basically went back to Kanto and went all around fighting these people called Frontier Brains in order to get Frontier Symbols (kinda like badges). I never tried out the Battle Frontier, and I've only seen a few episodes of that season. They COULD'VE went back and visited everyone again but NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Advanced Generation was THE WORST Era IMO.

I don't like the DP season, either, to be honest. Dawn kinda bugs me.

Dawn is okay, but the fact that she has Misty's Voice Actress kinda makes me wonder why they even bothered removing Misty in the first place.

Maybe they just need a new angle on the series now? Orange Islands was good. Pity that never became a game though!

I'll axplain it, someone hacked a rom... as in changed its maps and the pokemon available the storyline the characters and almost everything, to match the Orange Islands. That's basically it, I don't think it got released...

By the way, you know what a ROM is, right?

Basically it was a romhack called Pokemon Naranja (spanish for Orange) and it used the GBA graphics to depict you as a character starting out on a journey on the Orange Islands. (You even got to catch the Crystal Onix.)

Like I said though, it was never finished.

I think the guy that was originally doing it lost interest, so unless you know rom coding and can pick it up, good luck finishing it at all, I think they stopped around the 3rd or 4th Island?

The new episodes have gotten fairly retarded IMO. And I don't like the new VA's. I read an interview on Pokebeach that said that the Japanese director for the anime or whatever was rather disappointed we switched VAs
