Endeavour is one of those really weird moves. In an attempt to stick close to the game, it deals damage equal to (user's HP) - (target's HP). If this is large enough that the damage cap kicks in (as above), then the amount of damage actually dealt is noted. It then uses up that much EN. I reffed it once in the past, but was unhappy with the results.
