Arena: Desert Oasis - A very hot area, sand in every direction with a few trees and a small lake in the middle of the Oasis, it's not very deep nor very shallow, wide enough to fit a Gyrados but not a Wailord. No rocks anywhere but the bottom of the lake. In case a Pokemon is underwater, it is still visible clearly.

This match takes place in a desolate desert oasis between 3 combatants, as ref I will be taking a nice seat in the shade of this giant beach umbrella sipping cool drink while the trainers sweat it out in the heat. All 3 trainers throw a single pokeball onto the field, revealing a tiny pokemon encased in an egg, a red dog like creature and an odd bug with 4 long legs. Both Togepi and Ember start the match by closing their eyes and covering themselves in a white veil of energy protecting them from harm. Surskit tries to follow suit but apparently it is unable to do so since it doesn’t know how to use it.

Togepi continues raising its defences by concentrating real hard when out of nowhere 4 more Togepis pop and take up guarding positions. Ember looks to the sky and howls loudly causing the already hot desert sun to intensify which shines through Togepi’s clones making them visible. Surskit doesn’t seem to like this hurtful sun and begins to call the clouds to the sky to bring down rain on the field. The weather complies as the clouds come together and a massive down pour covers the field in soothing water. The rain unfortunately causes all of Togepi’s clones to disappear as they are barraged by water droplets.

To finish off the round Togepi digs deep down inside and gathers some powerful energy which he will now add to his attacks. Ember doesn’t take much notice of this and instead seems more interesting in taking down Surskit, he tries to do this by creating a small orb of flame which floats over towards Surskit but as it makes contact it burns into its skin leaving a black mark. Surskit’s response is to open its tiny mouth and releases a great amount of water at Ember, this blast is powered up intensely by the rain.

Ember gets things off to a sunny start by shooting a fireball into the sky causing the rainy clouds to dissipate and allowed the sun to shine down on the field. Surskit doesn’t like this new eventuality much and does his little chant again which causes the cloud cover to come back across the sky to bring down the rain again. Togepi doesn’t take much notice of what either his opponents are doing and huddles down continuing to make his nasty little plots.

With his much beloved rain beating down onto his skin Surskit feels the power surging through his body ones again. He started swishing something in his mouth before spitting it at Togepi, the tiny little seed attached itself to Togepi and began sucking out his life force before flying back towards Surskit who promptly eats it and sighs with relief as he feels much stronger. Togepi’s response is to throw up some purple slime which he then throws at Surskit, smirking slightly as it soaks into his skin. Ember also gangs up on Surskit by vanishing from sight and reappearing behind Surskit dealing him a deadly slash.

Being picked on didn’t bode to well for Surskit so he decides to take his frustration out on Ember, opening his mouth he releases a torrent of water only powered up by the rain towards the tiny red dog. But unfortunately for Surskit, Ember sees this coming and raises a protective shield of energy which blocks the force of the whole attack before shattering into a million sparkling shards. Togepi directs his attack at Surskit once again but this time he only yawns hoping that Surskit will follow suit and go to sleep soon.

Ember starts off this round by using her feminine charms to try and lull Surskit into not attacking her. But before the whole attack reaches Surskit he manages to pour his life force into a tiny effigy which takes the whole brunt of the attack. Togepi just thinks that this is the best thing ever and starts clapping for Ember to give him an encore.

Feeling that she should o the same attack again because of Togepi, Ember once again tries to infatuate Surskit but just like before it harmlessly bounces of the substitute. Finally falling asleep after a long battle to stay awake, Surskit opens its tiny mouth and lets out a few bubbles which float towards Ember and pop on contact. Togepi just lets out a little smirk and winks slyly at Ember which attracts her.

Ember is quite annoyed at Togepi and tries to attack him by ramming her head into her, but seems unable to due to her unnatural attraction to the little egg. Surskit still asleep opens its mouth once again but this time coats itself in a slight film which makes her move a lot faster. Togepi just laughs at Ember at not being able to attack him and fires a pulse of water at him which gets powered up by the rain before it hits Ember.

Okay, looks like you got taken advantage of that time, Ember, but we'll use it to our advantage. First, since you love that egg so much, Mimic his Nasty Plot so later you can show him that you can do it too. Then wait until the skies get all hot and hit Surskit with a Flamethrower. Then go and give your "eggy love" a Helping Hand with his Solarbeam.

If Surskit tries to make it rainy again after Togepi makes it clear, make it a Sunny Day again.
