Yep, no swear filter! Just one of the many reasons why I prefer this place. ^^
Anyway, great chapter there.Really liked the amount of focus on characters who happened to be pokémon in that chapter, first of all. Good to get a nice helping of backstory on Emmanuel and Mystos, too. Plus there were the noteworthy tragic elements that this chapter had, and I think you know how I feel about that kind of stuff in fiction. :3
Also, rataver = cool, including the name of that species.
And damn... those poor archid, getting beat by the litaria like that....And furthermore, said litaria were brainwashed, so there's a measure of pity for them, too. So yeah, in short, Team Judgment is shitty towards pokémon. And towards humans, too, for that matter. *chucks shoes at them, taking special care to aim at Emmanuel* THE LIGHT OF JUDGMENT CANNOT STAND UP TO MY FRICKING SHOES!
Other highlights and et cetera:
Pretty damned cool way to summon one's pokémon. Two dark, purple flames hovered above his shoulders, eventually materializing into his two Pokémon.
Which made me think of Phantasy Star II--whose soundtrack I was actually listening to as I read that part this time around, furthermore. X3Meanwhile, the five group members, led by Mirlite and four Litaria, were lost in a seemingly never-ending maze of teleporters. Each teleporter led to a different room each time it was used, so it was all the more confusing.
Latest addition to the "I misread that in an amusing manner" files: "Soon Emmanuel was wrapped in a menacing odor."Soon Emmanuel was wrapped in a matching color aura.
...Do I even want to know what kind of odor would qualify as "menacing", brain? X3
Wow. o.o Potent final words there...“Tell… Emmanuel… I forgive him…” Mystos’ eyes then rolled back in his head as he passed away.
