Selene Solidor

So, they were falling.

Somehow, Selene wasn't surprised.

They fell through the air rather gracefully, neither of them fully panicking as the Behemoth stopped and opened its mouth as wide as it physical could. Selene gritted her teeth, flipping herself around. Through some sort of stroke of brilliant luck, she landed on the creature’s snout. Outstretching her hand and catching Shay who was going to fall straight into the monster’s maw.

With one powerful swing she sent the thief spiraling back up into the air. She let out a yelp, not expecting such a powerful throw. She landed unsteadily beside Selene, who gulped.

“Well, this is a bad place to be…” She noted as the creature snorted and began lowering its head.

“Move it!” Shay cried, as they both took off running down the creature’s head.

Both of them stopped dead when it came to facing the creature’s sloping back. The behemoth roared, a paw coming into to swipe them clean off its skull. Shay shoved Selene to the ‘ground’, both of them lying as flat as they could. The two of them exchanged glances as the creature suddenly began flailing, and staying alive seemed that much more impossible.

“Son of a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch!” Selene cried, finding herself flung clear off the head and landing roughing on its back. She rolled, over and over down the back under she mangled to grab a hold of a wound the creature had sustained. Angrily she dug her hand into the bloody slash on its back, hearing it roar with displeasure.

“SELENE!” Shay cried, holding onto the creature’s mohawk in desperation. “HELP ME!”

Selene opened her mouth to say something, but she didn’t have anything to say. “What the hell do you want me to say!?”

“SOMETHING HELPFUL!”

“HOLD ON!!”

It was almost a joke in the sense she said it, trying to stay on the creature and not fall to the ground.

“Thanks tips!” Shayna cried; the sarcasm in her voice not hidden by the horror at all. “Any other advice!?”

“Yeah! Don’t make dumbass requests in life threatening situations!”

One more head bang and Shay went flying. She landed on her feet but went skidding down the creature’s back; Selene was fairly impressed the girl could keep her balance so well. She zoomed by Selene, who barely caught the girl’s flailing arm and again, threw her upwards. This time, the ninja took the opportunity to make use of the guns she had stolen from…

Well to be honest Selene had no idea where she had gotten those guns from, but she was shooting the hell out of the backside of the creature’s skull. She supposed it was a mild irritation, but it was enough to make it start swinging its tail around.

“Oh.. Fuc-“

Selene had never been sent so many directions at once, in one second she was moving up, down, side to side and before long she gave up trying to figure out which way she was about to travel. To save herself the migrane the woman took a chance and let go. The behemoth flung her up, and suddenly she was standing precariously on its shoulder.

And it was staring at her.

Selene raised an eyebrow and pointed her gun at its one good eye, in a challenging sort of way, it snorted.

Hi.
