This place must be really old. You look around and some tombstones are legible. Some must look like they're at least 200 years ago. You continue on, until Med stops you. The group all huddles together, as they hear many a spirit calling in the distance.

It doesn't take long for a Mismagius to be seen floating by, leading a small group of Misdreavus, all singing their pained horrible songs. Fit this place quite well.

Gin gasps for air, and digs out, fully tangible. This is getting a bit close. But Skarm's hectic attacks cause his chilled carapace to splinter, and a few rare steel feathers fly off.

There's also a few sets of beaded eyes looking your way from farther in...Be Wary.

Shiva looks like she is pretty much at home here, while Gerald hides behind you, looking a little scared of his surroundings. Nonetheless, the three of you cautiously move forward through all the tombstones, spotting a Gastly and a Mismagius not too far ahead...both of them have their backs turned, though.

Fearing no glowing beady eyes, you open the gates. They take some coaxing, but with a healthy grinding of metal and rust, they open, allowing you access to this ancient burial site. You carefully step over closely knit graves and make your way over to a small shrine for Mupple, the Kangaskhan. The candlewax has stained the ports of the shrine.

The eyes get a lil closer, and Kitsune barks, garnishing your attention. On pair revel themselves to be a Gastly. Another pair turns out to be a Murkrow.

While she's busy at what she's doing to those Cubone, I'm going to have my Pokemon stay well out of her sight, while they both use a surprise double Psychic to give her a painful double dose of a tight squeeze, by having them both use Psychic to crush her at the same time, much like a trash compactor.

Letting Gerald jump into your arms, he begins to look a little better, knowing that he hopes he can help to protect you here. Nonetheless, Shiva shrugs to herself quietly as the three of you move on. Making past a couple of tombstones and some gnarled trees, you spot a Mightyena growling at the base of a gnarled tree that is currently occupied by a Misdreavus that appears to be hiding somewhere up in the tree, possibly from the Mightyena.

What will you do?

"Oh, I was taking a stroll here, minding my own business, when this Misdreavus began teasing me. But when I tried to get him to stop, he just wouldn't listen, and he floated away, determined to not let me teach him a lesson. But, I gave chase, and showed him how much I hate prankster Pokemon, and that made him go on the defensive by hiding in the tree. But, he went up so high, I can't reach him, and he refuses to come down."

Shiva then makes her way back to you and Gerald, and tells you about the mischievous Misdreavus.

Always the adventurer. You dive out the car, as it squeaks along on its tethered path down the mountain. You curl into a ball and luckily land in a thick dune of snow. But you roll, and you keep rolling until you're able to grab a rock hidden under the snow.

Gathering your bearings, you begin to trudge up toward the cave you saw the Skarmory fly into. Over to your left, a Pidgeot speeds by, chasing...something? Its moving really fast though....

Oooh, a crypt! You sidestep any graves with unsteady ground, and run over to it. Takes you a few minutes as the hilly terrain makes for strange running path. Once you reach the crypt though, you notice the door is wide open. The flame is atop the crypt, possibly lit a while ago. You walk in, and your Pokmeon follow, Kitsune bringing up the rear. Once you 4 enter and head into the main room where the coffin lies, the door shuts, leaving you in pitch blackness.

A bunch of cries and wails then deafen you and your group!

Deciding to move on with your Pokemon, the two of you move past the Mightyena and Misdreavus, leaving them to get through their problem themselves. While walking through a couple of rows of tombstones, you spot a Gastly up ahead...but this Gastly appears to have a scared look on its face...probably because of the trio of Houndoom who don't appear to be too happy with a ghost invading their "territory".

Alright, It seems cruel, but this is the perfect time to get the basic stage of my favvorite pokemon. With the Houndoom angry at the Ghastly, they will probably gang up on him. Lets battle that ghastly so I can catch him!

Moving closer to the terrified Gastly, you order Gerald to go at it with a barrage of Ice Beams. Gerald gets one off right there, hitting the Gastly pretty hard. But, this Ice Beam seems to come as an unexpected surprise, as the Gastly turns around to face Gerald, and immediately takes a fighting stance, retaliating with a ball of ethereal energy that knocks Gerald back a little as it makes its collision with him.

Gerald: -9 Health, -10 Energy
Gastly: -10 Health, -9 Energy

As Gerald slowly gets back up, he goes for another Ice Beam on Gastly, which causes the ghost to cry out in pain once again. But the Gastly finds retaliation once more, in a strange wave of psychic energy that makes Gerald feel a little light-headed as it travels past him. Good thing that feeling is only temporary, however.

Gerald: -6 Health, -10 Energy
Gastly: -9 Health, -7 Energy

Upon no longer feeling that strange energy that went through him a moment ago, Gerald goes for another Ice Beam on Gastly, and this time, it hits Gastly quite hard, making him feel too cold to launch another attack this time.

Picking up the pokeball you move on to the next area of the quarry and come across another grassy area with a Cubone running around with its bone smashing tiny rocks whiles its mother Marowak smiles at its child's happiness.

The Glaceon looks at you with cute little eyes which quickly turn to tears as Sirius pummels it with a dark brown sphere of energy which Sloppy Joe moves behind it blocking its path.

Sirius adds more salt to the wound by hitting Glaceon again with another blast of energy.
