My new year's resolution was to get better at drawing, and I can't think of any better way to do it than ask for requests. And from you lovely TPMers, since you have such wonderfully active imaginations!
Basically, I want to be able to draw stuff that's more complex than I am already, so I decided to start on the chibis. If you don't want a chibi, then shoo! Out you go!
Here's the deal. I want to be able to put more detail into my chibis, from clothing down to hair styles, eyes, poses, you name it. I'm rather good at drawing my own dear characters, and I keep their designs so simple that it makes them look good in my style. So all I require of you is to be very detailed with your descriptions of what you want.
I really struggle putting things from my imagination and a description into a picture, so I'd really like it if you'd provide me some picture references of what you want. Even if it's “His hair looks a bit like Cloud's but doesn't quite defy gravity as much and is red” or “Her skirt looks like this picture *link*”, it would really help me a lot.
I've tried asking for this before and it failed miserably. The guy just said “He has green eyes, a black t-shirt and blue jeans”. Great that. So very inspiring, I really wanna draw him. >_> So if you give me something reeeaaaaally boring, I'm probably not gonna draw it :3 I want a challenge, kay? Stretch myself.
Also, check out my dA gallery @ http://chobichibi.deviantart.com and take a look at the kinda styles I like to work with. If you want anything specific, link back to me and I'll give it ago. By this, I mean that sometimes I draw really sketchily, with the tablet pen pressure (like in the banner, still not really used to this... need to use smaller brushes), pen tool to make really smooth straight lines, or the pen tool with pen pressure which makes... lines that are thick and thin. Like Queen Clefairy I did for Mt Moon.
Basically, the more you specify, the better the better the chibi will turn out for you :3
I'm only gonna take 4 requests at a time, simply because I don't want to bog myself down. I'm a music student y'know, we actually do work/practise sometimes. Once someone has requested something and I've finished it, you may take the next slot :3
I should probably mention that I'm gonna do this by digital media. I just got a pretty Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch. It needs art abuse <3
So here are some simplified rules that you should follow in order for me to love you and draw things for you.

1) Please provide a detailed description, preferably with picture references to help cement the image in my mind. The more effort you put into this, the more effort I will put in.
2) I will only draw chibis. No background, no big and beautiful anime cut-scene. Just chibis.
3) I will draw fanart! Who doesn't love fanart?!
4) I'm only taking up to 4 requests at a time. Please wait your turn and only request a chibi once there is a free space.
5) You cannot reserve yourself a slot. I will take the requests in the order that I receive them with a complete description.
6) Please be patient. I'll try and get them done as soon as I can, please don't pester me. Pestering makes me angry.
7) You may use my artwork for banners, layouts, etc, so long as you link back to my deviantArt account.
