[Crazy Elf Boy]

Appearance: Shae stands at around 5'4" with medium length black hair, she has a set of red and green contacts which she always wears her left eye being red and the right eye green. Her skin complexion is a bit pale but that is because if she does need to walk anyway then she always takes her pure white umbrella with her. Her normal attire is usually composed of a set of well worn black jeans and a plain white t shirt underneath a leather jacket with knee high black leather boots. She also wears a number of extra accessories such as a brilliant gold FOB watch which is secured in her jacket pockets, a small switchblade concealed in her right boot and a small picture locket which hangs around her neck.
Personality: Even though her appearence could be see as something worn by a goth, she actually has a nice uplifting personality which seems to cheer up the people around her. Though due to the faults of society this side of her is only shown around people she feels she can call friends. The side that complete strangers are shown by her is a sad deeply depressing one usually filled with cold hearted stares and metaphors which can be seen as quite dark.
Chosen Game: Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Chosen Character: Chris Redfield
History: Like most of the gaming community she turned to games to immerse herself in a world of virtual reality where she could feel like she was important and be anyone who wanted to be. After a while she noticed that a lot of the male players she played with used female characters in games so she decided to play males characters. When the gaming ban hit she got a really upset and did turn into even more of a recluse hiding away with her games. When they did come to collect her consoles she pulled her switchblade on one of the officers and threatened to kill him if they took it away. Shortly after that incident she was sent to a juvenile facility where she found out about the underGROUND organisation from one of her cell mates, after being released she joined up with the group so she could get revenge on the people that took away her fun.

Name: Dolores Wattson
Gamertag: Blackswan
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dolores stands at 5’6”, with a well developed but slightly plump built (she refer to this as ‘big boned’, whatever that means). Her ebony hair reaches her shoulder length, and is in a state of perpetual tangle. Her eyes are dark brown, framed with an old fashioned thick framed glasses that looked like it belong to her grandparent; when she’s not wearing her glasses, she have this rather amusingly clueless look. She usually dress in a pair of jeans and dull coloured shirts, and is almost always seen with some sort of books (be it the good ol books, or those e-books).
Personality: She is rather warm and friendly, and enjoys talking with all sorts of people – the young, the old, the serious, and so on – although she sometimes enjoy it a tad too much. And then she has this bad tendency to pull of small pranks when no one saw it coming: she seems to rather enjoy this more than talking (except when someone decides to show her a piece of their mind, that is). While she can swing from being friendly to slightly round the bend, she can be thoughtful… sometimes.
What most don’t immediately see in her is the side where she is (or so she claimed) the open minded and sceptical (and what others would say) masochistic and outright weird. Some would place her somewhere between an intelligent person and a candidate for a straightjacket – you be the judge.

History: Dolores was born into a rather over educated family, with her parents and her four older siblings having all those degrees and doctorates. Not surprisingly, when kids her age were into video games, she was reading all these thick and heavy (and presumably boring) books. And then, in high school, when most at her age would get in trouble for truancy, smoking and the likes, she… well, you could describe her as someone who is fond for looking – or to be more accurate, seeking – all sort of problems. And they’re not particularly one of interest for juveniles (for example, not many would view a dip in a frozen lake as something particularly exciting. Or sane). But of course, like her peer, she learned to do these in secrecy (what they don’t know can’t harm them, she’d say…)
Speaking of video games, she does play them occasionally, but only recently – she tried her hand on different types, but wasn’t attached to any particular game. Just when video game playing seems to be reaching its peak, along came the ban; since she was not really much of a serious gamer, she was not involved in all those protests, although she couldn’t help but feel extremely suspicious at this whole event (all the more reason for her to question the government). It wasn’t too long before she heard about the even more suspicious underGROUND. While common sense would tell her that she should stay away from the organization, she joined it anyway (she saw it more of an opportunity that would lead to… a lot of interesting possibilities, she hoped).

Name: Christopher (Chris) Rampart

Appearance: Chris is tall and lanky, standing at an even 6 feet and weighing only 160 pounds. His hair is kept to around an inch in length and is a medium brown color; he keeps his face clean of the little stubble of facial hair that he can grow. His eyes are a deep green.
His standard repertoire of clothes is as follows: a random t-shirt with a witty/amusing/etc. saying or picture on it; a pair of baggy pants that are either jeans, khaki, or bondage; and a pair of slightly clunky but super-comfy white sneakers. His most recent visit has seen him in a pair of baggy black bondage pants with red accents, a black T-shirt that has white letters saying "White text on a black shirt", and he has added a pair of black glovelets.
Personality: Chris is your typical happy-go-lucky guy. Give him a bad experience, he'll just frown and wonder why you did, then forget he was ever unhappy soon after. Very non-confrontational, he will voice his opinion then back away. If he's in a group where everyone's friendly with everyone, he'll take a leading role in the group; if there's even one dissonant voice, he becomes more of an intelligent sheep.
Chosen Game: Soul Calibur IV
Chosen Character: Talim
History: Chris was practically born with a controller in his hand. He was born when his parents were still relatively young so they were also into the whole video game thing before him. As such he was somewhat spoiled in that he usually got any game that he wanted; fortunately at an early age he learned not to take advantage of this and made sure to make a definite decision before asking for any game.
When the ban hit, Chris was in college, and as he was busy with projects for both school and work he didn't have much time to worry about the ban until the summer. When he arrived back at home, he found that his parents had been actively protesting the entire time since the ban, so he joined in the protests. However, they always left the instant anyone made a violent move, refusing to support the idea of violence spawning from video games; because of this, Chris has fortunately never been arrested.
It was while he was back at college the next year that he learned from his fellow-gamer classmate Amelia about the underGROUND. Happy to have his happy medium back, Chris's mood picked up as he spent more time getting reacquainted with his favorite games.
Other: His main source of income (besides student loans) is as a freelance web coder.

Name: Katharine (Kat) Blairre

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Kat stands around 5'9" with a fairly skinny frame and a decent body shape (although she's a little self-conscious about her lack of true curves). Her bushy blond hair reaches just past her shoulders, while her bangs, which are chin-length and sweep to the side across her forehead, are dyed a bright blue color. Her deep (and according to most, beautiful) blue eyes are concealed behind a pair of blue-rimmed glasses.
Despite feeling self-conscious, she seeks to accentuate her definitively-feminine figure, so she wears very girly clothing. Her favorite set is a blue diagonally plaid skirt that comes to right above her knees, with a paler blue spaghetti-strap tank for a top. She has a pair of white socks with blue stripes up the side, as well as a pair of plain white sneakers. She typically wears a pair of pale blue wristlets, a silver watch, and a silver chain necklace for her accessories.

Personality: Bubbly, hyper, and friendly, you would think her naïve until you got to know her. Kat is not only cheery and bright, she's smart to boot, and if you treat her like she's stupid she may just give you a boot up your butt. It is nearly impossibly for Kat to be UNhappy, and even if she's sad for some reason she never falls into a rut of depression but always picks herself up (sometimes literally) and keeps moving forward. She gets mad, but usually* only if she's been used, abused, or horribly mistreated. (*see Other)
Chosen Game: Tales of Phantasia
Chosen Character: Arche
History: Kat is probably one of the least likely people you would expect to see in the underGROUND. She grew up mostly oblivious to the gaming world, instead taking many dance and gymnastics classes. Through junior high and high school she was on the cheerleading teams. She was favored to be cheer captain when she reached senior year, but declined the position because she felt she wouldn't have enough time to devote to it.
She wouldn't let anyone know the true reason at that point, but one of her Christmas presents was a Nintendo DS and she had picked up a used copy of Animal Crossing for it. The surprising thing wasn't so much that she got good at it very quickly, despite having no gaming experience before she got her DS; the surprising thing was how much she liked it despite her non-gaming life. She sometimes found herself playing it for more than 4 hours at a time, though she always made time for her schoolwork, cheer practices, and gymnastic classes.
By the time the gaming ban hit, Kat wasn't playing her games as much, but she still felt a little sad that she had to give it up. However, with a job, part-time college with cheer practices, and gymnastics classes, Kat kept herself distracted well enough. Working her coffee shop job is how she met Sam Sternwell as he very frequently came in to order for his overbearing superiors. Before long, Kat had not only memorized Sam's order, the two were chatting as the coffee got prepared, though never too long as to make Sam's superiors mad.
It was through Sam that Kat learned about the underGROUND, and when he trusted her enough he brought her to one of the gatherings. Soon she was coming in weekly (since her busy schedule wouldn't allow for more most of the time), and found all the other games that she had missed out on by not getting into the gaming scene earlier. She took an immediate liking to the old-school SNES RPGs, her favorite being Chrono Trigger, though she really liked just about all of them.
Other: Bet you can't guess her favorite color. XP Also, don't you dare call her Kathy or she will rip you a new one, unless she's never told you not to, in which case she'll "nicely" tell you to never call her that again.
