ROUND THREE

Lying a the bottom of the water pool, Dratini looks up at his opponent through the water as it is pelted with rain. Charmander grimaces. He's not going to be able to do much with a huge wall of water between and his enemy. Looking up at the heavens, he channels heat energy through his body again in an attempt to clear the rain away and bring out the sun. Meanwhile Dratini sends a massive blast of electrical energy out of the bottom of the pool, sending it slamming into Charmander just as he pulls off his weather changing attack. The rain comes to an end and the temperature begins to rise, but the rain was still too strong to dissipate entirely, resulting in a hot but cloudy coverage above. The pool of water stops overflowing, but the amount of heat it would take to dry it up is phenomenally more than even a marginally hot day can reach. Charmander looks at the still full pool of water disappointingly, while Dratini enjoys his warm bath.

Less than pleased with the way things have turned out, Charmander is left with his opponent still safe beneath the water. A flamethrower? Into the pool? Well that would just be a total waste. Luckily for him, Dratini swims about a little tp pick up speed, before flipping himself out of the water, slapping Charmander in the face hard with his tail. Charmander growls and lets loose a jet of flame, only for it to be cut short by a jolt of paralysis running through his jaw. The flames die out to soon, and even then, they don't hurt the soaking wet dragon as much as they could have. Dratini smirks again, while the fire type nurses his sore cheek.

Ecstatic at the way things have turned out so far, Dratini prepares to unleash hell upon his opponent, and the arena. Letting loose a cry that sends shivers through all those that hear it, he sings to the skies and to his ancestors, who answer his prayers by darkening the skies. A small dragon can only do so much, but four huge balls of burning rock fall from the sky, crashing into the arena destroying it in the process. The force of the seemingly random impacts throws Charmander from his feet, whilst missing Dratini completely. The shockwaves hit Charmander one by one, leaving him sprawled on the floor, the lava spilling out of it's mangled pool, colliding with the pool of water, creating a mixture of steam and stone as they both cool and boil rapidly at the same time. When the assault finally finishes, Dratini stares at the destruction he has caused with great fear. He doesn't expect to be struck from behind by Charmander, letting his massive anger out in a powerful rush attack.

With the arena utterly destroyed, a clean up team sweep through quickly to tidy up a few things, making sure it isn't too dangerous to continue. The entire arena is massively uneven, and a mixture of smoke and steam is rising out of the pit. Three meteors remain, one surrounded by the last of the lava, one by the last of the water, and one on it's own near the edge of the arena. The other has broken apart leaving lots of rocks lying around.
