Buneary begins by remaining calm and focusing her energy. Toph, the touch counters by directing some rather rude Taunts at the wee bunny. Hey, Peter Cottontail! Uh, you suck! (Aggrons can be so cruel.) Buneary remains unfazed by these words, however, and bounces over toward the Toph with her fist clenched. Uh-oh. Buneary deals a ferocious punch that just about knocks the Aggron’s head clean off his shoulders.

Once again, Buneary goes all zen-like and devotes her time and energy toward concentration. Meanwhile, Toph lets out a high-pitched Screech that causes everyone in the vicinity to clap their hands over their ears in pain. Hey, calm your business! Buneary feels her fortitude take a hit as a result, but doesn’t let this compromise her concentration. Then, she springs forward gleefully and delivers yet another Focus Punch, this one to Toph’s mighty gut. She knocks the wind right out of the mighty Aggron. Ouchies.

Toph growls. Eep, methinks this boy means business. He stomps across the distance separating him from Buneary and thrusts his open palm forward with enough strength to shatter rocks. (Or, uh, bricks, maybe.) Buneary hops back to her feet in no time at all, skipping forward and dealing a swift kick right to Toph’s shin. Hey! Cheap!

Toph snarls and snaps as Buneary flexes her little muscles. Wow, both foes look ready for some no holds barred action! Buneary bounces forth and aims another swift kick right to the mighty Aggron’s shin. However, as Toph tumbles to the ground, he manages to swerve at the last second to send his tail swinging down on Buneary’s head in an impressive Countering strategy.

Buneary: <-28 HP; -4 EP>

Buneary shakes off that last ouchie as Toph tries to pull himself onto his feet, though, being a gigantic Steel-plated bipedal stone rhino thingy, he finds that understandably difficult. Before he can get up off the ground, Buneary executes another Low Kick, this time to Toph’s chest. The Aggron wails in agony and then decides, oh, to hell with it, and slumps down right on top of Buneary.

You know what hurts? Being pinned beneath a gigantic Steel-plated bipedal stone rhino thingy. Just sayin’.

Still pinned beneath Toph, Buneary squirm and squeaks before finally freeing her leg just enough to boot the Aggron right off of her! Wow, nice work! Toph finally manages to get back up off the ground and bellows before darting at Buneary with a maddened look in his eyes. He begins battering her with his every limb and appendage without any regard for his own welfare.

The teleportation kicks in and, whoosh, we're off! When we reappear, we find ourselves not altogether too far from where we started. The incessant ding, ding, ding of slot machines suffuses the air while folks shout as their gamble their pennies away at the betting tables. The Game Corner is probably no place for a battle, but, eh, that hasn't stopped us yet.

Knowing that the end is imminent, Toph wants to get as much damage in as possible before he kicks the bucket. As such, he begins shimmering as though newly waxed as he rushes at Buneary and nearly snaps her in two with a sweeping jerk of his tail. Surprisingly, Buneary begins to applaud politely. Eh? Toph swells up with pride, eager to repeat the same move for Buneary’s benefit.

But it begs the question… why not just finish him off then and there?

And as he shimmers again, Buneary hops forward and does the deed. With one wicked Focus Punch, the iron-willed titan is brought down at last.

MLG releases his final Pokemon, a three-headed coconut tree with its sights set on taking Buneary down. The wee bunny begins laying on the charm, batting her lashes and making little kissy faces, but before the move can take hold Ruhi disappears in the blink of an eye. He reappears behind Buneary and soon begins emitting a fine white powder. This can’t be good. Just like that, Buneary is out like a light.

While Buneary slumbers away, Ruhi adopts a sinister expression and begins forging a mental link with Buneary. In her sleep, Buneary begins turning and thrashing, her movements clearly the product of some rather nasty nightmares. With a low moan, Ruhi gobbles down all her good dreams, leaving just the frightening ones behind. Poor girl.

As the round begins, Ruhi wastes no time at all in unleashing a ball of foul goo that explode upon making contact with the sleeping Buneary. Suddenly, the wee bunny begins babbling in her sleep before hopping to her feet. She lets loose a crackling ball of shadowy energy that sails across the room and makes contact with Buneary. Ouchies.

Ru: <-12 HP; -8 EP>
Buneary: <-9 HP; -8 EP>

Miffed at that Shadow Ball, Ruhi stomps toward Buneary and shakes his body from side to side. Suddenly, a flurry of leaves escapes and tears its way across the arena. Buneary soon finds herself caught in the maelstrom, getting sliced and dices. Then, without warning… she wakes up! Huzzah! She gleefully skips toward Ruhi and smacks him up with a rather potent flaming fist to the face.

Buneary: <-10 HP; -5 EP>

At this point, Buneary is panting pretty roughly and it doesn’t exactly take a doctor for one to be able to spot the battle’s toll on her. Her movements seem a little on the sluggish side as she bounds toward the Exeggutor, Fire Punch ready, but Ruhi is ready. He fire a series of explosive seeds, each packing more than a bit of kick. The brave Buneary braces herself against the move, but soon finds the onslaught to be too much. With that, she staggers and falls, finally defeated.
