Arena: Mineral desert

Sand as far as the eye can see. There is one big rock pillar in the middle, shaped like an obelisk. Various strange symbols are drawn in the sand, but seem to dissapear now and then. There's a four turn Sandstorm, then two turns without. Weather-moves are only usable in the two turns that the sandstorm is subdued. As soon as the two turns are over, the sandstorm is back. Earthquake is pretty ineffective due to all the sand; and the drought slightly lessens the power of water-pokemon or water-moves.

Badge: Solid Stone

A silverwhite round stone with a sharp edge. It is according to rumors the combination of his former badge and that of his master. It consists only of pure minerals.

===Round 15===

The Sandstorm seemed to be waning as MLG releases his fourth Pokemon. Another steel bird enters the fray, but the soggy sandsteps note this one wouldn't be melted as fast. Convec does not fear this and Yawns in jest at his new opponent.

However, Katara books away from the sound, instead relentlessly shooting up the Obelisk, far away from being in contact with those waves.

Hrm, that was a bit extreme to Convec, whom charged up a large sphere of energy. Katara looked down at the glowing turtle and then fell backwards, to Convec's dismay, The turtle plodded over to see where the beast landed, and was upset to note there was only a hole left behind. She dug down like a drill..

Knowing he had to do something, Convec forced a massive Lava Plume up from the ground, in hopes of hitting her. It was close, and Katara had to cycle around the massive intrusion to slam into her target and flip him over! Convec wobbled there as the sands started to subside-spikes and fulgurites everywhere.
