B-b-battle! Oslo versus RaZoR LeAf :o (Yeah yeah slowly but surely.)

Mmkay, I want a battle.

I'm thinking a 3 on 3, abilities active? With the DQ time set at a week.

I'll be leading off with La Polla Loca, my shiny female Combusken with Blaze. My opponent will release and then attack.

Opponent can decide on the arena, so long as it's not too out there. I'd think of one myself, but the mass amounts of laundry I've been doing in preparation to head off to school has sapped my initiative to be clever. Friggin' clothing needs to learn to clean itself.

Lets see, since you're having laundry issues, the arena is a Laundromat. There are two high rows of washing machines, some are washing clothes, others are half full, some are empty. The floor is littered with wash baskets, and piles of dirty laundry, which could be hiding anything beneath them. The floor is tiled, and in some places is wet and very slippery.

I'll start off with Verne (f) Octillery with Sniper.

Verne, start by laying down a Haze then use Psychic to slam your foe against the row of machines. Lastly, open up on your opponent with an Octazooka

Round One
Fight!

Razor Leaf has decided to trap poor Olso in his laundry nightmares, and apparently a pokemon battle is the only way to escape. A Combusken appears on the field, briefly confused on the scenery before there’s another flash that summons an Octillery. The two pokemon take notice of each other quickly, and the battle begins…

Rather undramatically. Verne decides to create herself some cover from her foe, and causes a thick haze to fill the Laundromat (3 ENG). La Polla Loca takes notice of it, and attempts to learn how to use such a move. She succeeds, or she thinks she has (4 ENG). Immediately she tries to use it, and low and behold, the haze trapped in the building thickens. No one can see each other, and the sound coming from the running machines may make hearing the opponent in an attempt to locate them, difficult.

Trying to locate her foe, Verne’s eyes begin to glow a deep pink before a psychic blast is unleashed. The blast makes the haze ripple and there’s a massive crash of something being hit by the move (5 ENG). However, it’s not La Polla Loca, who was performing an elegant swords dance in the mist while Verne was attacking (4 ENG, +2 ATK).

Now it’s Combusken’s turn to go first. She tries to find her foe, leaping up onto one of the tables. Narrowing her eyes, she thinks she sees her foe and spews a nasty glob of toxins towards the shape. It turns out to be Octillery (4 ENG, TXC PSN). Verne isn’t at all pleased with suddenly have nasty crap spat at her, and she looks over to wear it came from. For that, she takes aim, and blasts an inky jet of water towards where her foe should be.

Bam (2 ENG, 12 DMG)! La Polla Loca goes flying off the table and lands on the ground, groaning in disapproval.

Fight!

With the haze still looming, it becomes a race between Verne and Loca to see who can preform their move first. Verne has an advantage, she knows generally where her opponent is, and in a very creepy fashion, focuses all her attention on the faint outline she believes in her enemy (3 ENG, LOCKED-ON... To something...). Loca in the meantime, decides to split into four (3 ENG, 3 CLONES).

Time to see which plan is working out for who. Combusken begins to honour the warrior spirits again and dance to the swords, increasing her attack further (4 ENG, +2 ATK). Verne, having kept careful eye, sees that same shadow (more or less... Looks more like laundry to me...) ontop of one of the driers. Narrowing her eyes, the tentacled pokemon's eyes glow a dark forbidding blue before a burst of water shoots into the haze...

There's a mangled, chicken-like squawk before a crash and a mumbled curse. The clones vanish, Verne had the right target (3 ENG, 19 DMG). La Polla Loca isn't looking very good at the moment.

The haze is slowly beginning to dissipate, but not enough to really make a significant change to perception yet. That doesn't matter, Loca thinks she knows where Verne is, as the Octillery attacked. She gives out a defiant... chirp before she leaps on top of the dryers and zooms across the laundromat, fist crackling with electric energy.

Oh look, there's Verne!

Unfortunately, she is not what Combusken has aimed for. She slams her fist into a laundry basket, and the crackling energy fries the once wearable clothes (4 ENG). Verne actually laughs, having watched her opponent fly right by her. Her body crackles and suddenly a wave of static energy flies and zaps the poor, confused fire-type. Her muscles seize up for a second, and the bird can do nothing but sigh (3 ENG, PAR).

Round Three
Fight!

La Polla Loca isn't lookin' to good, but she's hoping to change her luck. She looks around nervously however, when all the washers begin to shake, she can even hear the pipes in the walls rattle as Verne's eyes dimly glow a soft blue. The Combusken sets to work, she has a nasty surprise waiting for her opponent. Her own eyes begin to glow white, and continue to grow brighter and brighter as all the washers fling open and everywhere water could come from, it does.

All towards Loca.

Just then, her spell is complete. Verne is happy when the water crashes down on her opponent (3 ENG, 20 DMG CRIT), but is dismayed when white hot spheres blast through the water! The spheres crane upwards, before all of them come slamming down on the poor Octillery! There blast sends rubble everywhere, and a good portion of the floor is gone, leaving a small crater, and a smoldering octopus inside of it (6 ENG, 20 DMG)!

Ow.

Really not appreciating that, Verne sits up. She has to move, but in her defiance, she lets out a horrible, glass-shattering screech (3 ENG, -2 DEF), just as Combusken crashes into her (3 ENG, 10 DMG)! Poor Loca, she was so close to the scream that her head is reeling, she probably can't hear very well at the moment...

Verne has had enough of this fire type. Ignoring the poison that's beginning to really take its toll, she slides out of the crater and whips up a cold, icy wind that rushes poor Loca (3 ENG, 3 DMG). The fire type is blown a little back, and then slips. Her eyes widen a bit as she watches the ground, all that water over the arena, is freezing. Being coated in water doesn't help either, she winces as her feathers begin to freeze and feels a little heavy (-1 SPD).

Round Four
Fight!

As either pokemon begins to feel the pain, Verne, despite having the speed advantage, is patient. Combusken tries to see through the still lingering haze, she chooses her victim (a dark shadow, that looks a little red). She rushes forward as a dizzying pace, and slams hard into Verne, who groans from the impact (3 ENG, 10 DMG). However, Verne has an evil plan. She sounds like she's choking for a good second before a glob of something beyond disgusting flies from her and coats La Polla Loca. She cries out as the gunk thickly coats her feathers and burns her skin (6 ENG, 14 DMG). Verne watches with a sick pleasure as that poisonous substance really begins to seep in, tainting her enemy's blood (PSN).

Despite that set back, Loca goes for another aerial ace. She charges, still not hindered by her paraylsis. At that moment, Verne decides she's had enough. Water rushes the fire type again, just as she crashes into the water type. Both pokemon are really beginning to feel the pain, and slowly recover, putting distance between another (3 ENG, 19 DMG, 2 ENG, 10 DMG).

Damage it really beginning to mount up. The duo are ready to go again. Orders are issued and now it's race. In her rush though, Loca messes up! The ice coating the arena costs her, her attack. She slips just as she tries to use aerial ace, and ends up destroying one of the dryers (3 ENG)! Verne doesn't laugh, she goes for another, powerful brine that washes over Combusken and deals devastating damage (2 ENG, 21 DMG).

Round Five
Fight!

Despite slowed down by both paralysis and ice, Loca is off to the races to try and finish Verne before she can use surf. She claps her hands together and a wave of energy roars outwards, with a speedy, bent-on-vengeance combusken zooming just behind in a brilliant aerial ace. The wave of fighting energy smashes into Verne just before La Polla Loca does, who pulls a flip in midair and slams a crackling, electrified fist into Octillery's face (8 ENG, 29 DMG)!

Verne groans,but clings to life. Loca blinks, amazed that that damn water type is still alive. Octillery begins to laugh as the pipes rattle in the walls and washers begin to go nuts. Then it comes, a massive rush of water, that rises up into the air almost like a snake before it strikes, throwing the poor bird into the window, causing cracks in the glass (3 ENG, 16 DMG).

Loca doesn't move, but it doesn't take long for Verne to fall either. The harsh poisoning takes it's toll, and Verne slumps, defeated.

Yeah and so that's how I got here reffing this match!
RL: o.O Crazy. You work everywhere man. But anyway, our Pokemon are rumbling....


oh..right right..Corleone right. Well he's looking mighty dapper, perched on top of the end of a row of dryers. Staring at him is Bronzasaurus Rex. Rex starts spinning and slides toward Cor, whom sqwaks off at the mouth. Cor's Taunt gets off before that Confuse Ray can fly, leaving Rex angry about being called a fat girls mirror since its bent funny so they look skinny.

Ticked off, Rex now builds up a hefty Charge Beam, but is struck from the left side as Corelone flies down and strikes. Rex lands on some laundry but bounces back, firing that Charge Beam. It strike Core, and he falls over, holding his heart. You aren't dead yet, get up! The Haze isn't that bad!

Rex spins and builds up another field of static electricity, getting some aid from the wool clothing on the floor. Corelone flies up and swoops in, striking Bronz backwards. Rex fires the beam and clips the bird, causing Corleone to fly into a washer! Although the thud was loud, the Haze makes it hard for Rex to pinpoint which one Corleone is trapped in for the moment.

Rex rotates in place, causing the laundromat to undergo a drastic change. Actual second row washers start to tilt and cascade over! People go running as Corleone freaks and fires a Confuse ray at the Mirror before being crushed by that! Water goes spraying everywhere, helping to clear the haze!

Rex gets hit by the Confuse Ray, but seems unharmed.

Rex floated around past the debris. Corelone tried to dig out, but ended up flying in a washer. He swooped out and tried another tunnel, and barely found a hole big enough to peck through. It threw a Thunder Wave in the air, and the wave managed to grapple Rex.

Parafusion doesn't stop Rex from moving around. Corleone pushes its body halfway out of the hole and pecks at the air, but still finds itself pinned under the washers! Rex just floats around aimlessly.

Corleone knows this is bad and so it takes a drastic measure. A soft thud can be heard before a intense amount of ear splitting shrieking occurs from a washing machine. In due time Corelone has bored itself a way out of the rubble, and flies free. Where is Rex though? On the ground shivering in paralysis..

Glad to be free of that wreck, and the Haze fading out , Corleone spies Rex and vanishes for a moment. Rex sits up, with a clear head, but not for long! Corleone swats it pretty good. Rex spins around and...oh..fires off a Hypnosis! Corleone stands there perturbed and now drowsy by that move...

Corleone seems really sleepy, and the bird stays still, perched on the mound of washers. That's beginning to move. Corleone notes this and tries to snap out of the groggy state, and flaps his wings. The heat starts to build and before you know it, as the washers once again encapsulate Corleone-a Heat Wave engulfs this Laundromat. Man people looking in must be like WTF is going on in there?

Under these washers again? Corleone was really getting tired of this. He looked around and spied an opening, to which he flapped straight through. The tired feeling from earlier was losing any ground it was making, and Corleone kept it at bay by forcing a shield around his body as he flew out from the wreckage. Good timing, as a bright series of lights bounced onto and away from the shielding. Rex hissed, that was NOT part of the plan!

Rexz goes for another crippling barrage of washers, and Corleone lands, squwaking right before the washers trap it again. This is ridiculous, there's water spraying everywhere! Rex wasn't sure what that sqwaking was about, but somethings off...

Rex stares as Corleone seems to be able to wriggle through the spaces of the washers this time. As water sprays all over the laundromat floor, Corleon hops onto a higher perch and flaps its wings. Rex tries a brighter approach at the start of this round. It floats over toward Corleone and fires off a bright light. This bright light however, has some heft to it, and it splatters on the avian. Corleone retaliates with a sqwak and a blast of dark energy to force that damned mirror back.

Rex spins back into the battle, and goes for the pile of washers on the floor. Man this can't be good. Corl sweeps in and fires off an Ominous Wind, blasting the doors open to this laundromat and letting that water run out. But the washers still crash on his body. Ouch

Corelone is nowhere to be seen, as Rex floats over the mess. I think its safe to say that bird has been thoroughly knocked out.

K, it's been a month. I'm calling for Oslo to be DQ'd.
