The beach is a suiting place for the battle against Crown34 and Dogfish44, who keeps taunting his opponent because his numbers are greater. Nevertheless, the battle is a six-on-six, meaning that we're going to be on this beach well into the summer months (when beaching is appropriate), but I digress. Dogfish summons his pokémon first: a sly chingling named Echo, while Nero, Crown's absol, comes next.
Echo tags the absol with a diminishing spell [ -8PP Echo ]. Nero, uncertain of what just happened, attempts to strengthen his already-powerful attack strength, but begins straining his mind when he realizes that nothings happening [ -5PP Nero / +20% Atk Echo ]. The chingling just smirks gleefully.

Annoyed that his attack power didn't rise, Nero whips himself over towards the chingling and slashes at her with dark energy, sending her sailing into the sands painfully [ -12HP Echo / -4PP Nero ]. Echo retalliates by shooting off a snapping bolt of electricity that engulfs the wolf, paralyzing him [ +25% Par Nero / -6PP Echo ].

His movement now restricted, Nero can only watch as Echo hits him with a taunting poison that will only get stronger the deeper it gets [ +3% Tox Nero / -6PP Echo ]. He struggles upon it, but manages to strike Echo once more with a slash [ -8HP Echo / -5PP, -1HP Nero ].

Echo starts the second round swiftly by hovering over to her frozen opponent. She taunts him for a few seconds while he tries to respond ineffectively. As he strugles, Echo lets him have it with a splash of bug-based energy; normally a weaker attack, but against a dark-pokémon: pretty poignant [ -12HP Nero / -7PP Echo ]. Nero, finally able to react, does so by sharpening his large talon [ +20% Atk, -5PP, -1HP Nero ].

But Echo doesn't stop there, no-no. She lets him have it with another electric attack that nearly shatters his resolve while strengthening Echo's [ -8HP Nero / -6PP, +10% SpA Echo ]. Nero, in turn, howls before spitting off batch of his own toxicity to wreak havoc on Echo's central nervous system [ +3% Tox Echo / -5PP, -1HP Nero ].
