Anyone can catch them, yes, but you can't just go to the Tower and be all, "I just caught Mewtwo! Here's two points!" You need to go to the Safari Zone and search for one there. Bring plenty of Ultra Balls too.

Also DCM, your signature pokemon needs to be the one you battle with the most, or that people associate with you. IN the past, my sig pokemon was my Blaziken 'Haf', it became my characters lead pokemon when Chris wrote the ASB fic (which I never actually finish, so I'm going to have to get back into that). I'd like to think that mine will become my recoloured Torterra.

Grey's is surely Fenrisúlfr, the shiny Umbreon, as it's the one in his avatar too.

Signiature 'mon are odd things - If it wasn't for me and DL arguing over Aeropig (Now GRUMPYpig) being a Spoink or a Grumpig, I suspect It wouldn't have became as well known, or be Grumpypig.

Also - do people here believe they can have multiple signiature mon? I'm gonna need one for my non Gym battles...
