The meadow might not be the best fighting ground here - I send out Fuji, my male Torkoal.

Since I sent second, I assume I strike first. So, Fuji, start off by making it a Sunny Day. Then cue up a Double Team (fast for a turtle, isn't he?), and hit the Metagross with a Flamethrower to cap off the turn.

Sunny Day ~ Double Team ~ Flamethrower

Good welcome everyone! Today MLG and MoP will be dukin' it out in this lovely meadow of doom.

Both trainers send out their pokemon, MLG throws out a very intimidating Metagross named Adam Rock, as a Torkoal comes out to represent MoP, who is named Fugi. The battle starts with Adam looking to the sky and closing his eyes. Concentrating greatly, its start to pour heavily. Fugi just looks at him, like what the hell man, the smoke that normally comes out of the Torkoal fizzles out. [Adam: -5 EN] He didnt like that too much so he concentrates even heavier, forgetting about the rain. Eventually, the rain cleared, and bright blazing sunlight engulfed the meadow. [Fugi: -5 EN]

Adam didnt care much that his rain went away, because all he did was make a transparent screen of light all around him, protecting him from special attacks. [Adam: -6 EN] Fugi thought it would be a great time to mess with the oversized super-computer, so he split himself into clones, identical to the real Fugi, 4 to be exact. Where is the real one? [Fugi: 4 Clones/-6 EN]

Adam is indeed an oversized super-computer, so it took .7 seconds to find the right move to use on Fugi, and get rid of the clones. Adam stomped his feet very hard on the ground, giving Fugi quite the rattle. Buh bye clones! The shaking got all the clones to deplete at once. [Adam: -8 EN/ Fugi: -4 Clones/ -12 HP] Fugi wasnt pleased at all, so in retaliation, decided to spew scorching flames at Adam, searing his metal body. The scorching sun helped that one. [Adam: -15 HP/ Fugi -8 EN]

Fugi starts right away, spraying more flames, intensified by the sun. Adam's Light Screen broke due to the power, but it protected him long enough. Adam, thinking ihe wasnt shaken up enough, used earthquake one more time. [Fugi: -12 HP -8 EN/ Adam: -10 HP -8 EN]

The fight continues in this brilliant Meadow. Ahh smell that fresh air! That air...that now seems to be chilling as clouds come over. Fuji smirks and tries to intensify his odds...only to find out that those raindrops break through the clones! Damn it!

Adam regains some composure for its exoskeleton feeling like a slab of molten iron. As the rains help to cool it down, it slams its forearms into the ground. A series of seismic waves shudder under Fuji and the surrounding landscape. Fuji groans in pain as he hunkers down to deal with the hit.

Recovering, Fuji doesn't like the feel of the rain right now, and tries to burn the cause of it out. The chill already has an effect on the Torkoal's blast.

Adam scuttles sideways as the rain falls, weakening that Flamethrower to a fraction of its power.

Fuji seems irate over this change of momentum. He pumps out a bunch of smoke and lies down in it, to relax a bit. Adam meanwhile digs down a bit and makes sure the stones he shatters and moves are in perfect position...

The rain had to go. So with little time to focus, the Torkoal let off a massive amount of steam into the atmosphere. That's all that was accomplished as the ground started to quake and quiver under his feet. He flipped onto his shell, but smirked as the rains stopped. Yay for global warming!

Adam floated back up, retracting his arms. That turtle was defenseless now. He flew toward the overturned beast, slamming his hands into the ground, churning up the land as he did. Stones flew out in front of him and he let them sail all over Fuji. It looks over for the tortoise..

The sun beams its warmth inducing rays on Adam's reflective body, giving him a nice sheen. The 'Gross however, is not content with just this, as something seems to be coming in fast from the sun's vicinity. He can barely make it out, but as it plummets, it seems to ignite itself.

Meta holds out two arms, and braces himself for the imminent impact. Yo unfurls from its rock like descent and wings of a considerable wingspan blanket the light around Adam, before he dives in for the first of a successive streak of bites...

err-that was the plan, but Adam's outstretched forelimbs made a sort of Psychic net-that held Yu away from his central section. Yu looked left and right, and subjected an arm to the fangs of fiery fury. Adam winced, and used his free hand to bash into Yu's jaw, freeing his other arm and Yu's grip on a flawless victory.

Adam winces from the pain of that blow, but as the fiery energy cycles around his arm, his whole body begins to glow. Yu notes this from the ground and just opens his mouth as wide as possible. The air ignites in front of him, and spreads right to Adam, setting off a combustible reaction that Adam is unable to fight against.

Well, with the sun waning, MLG tries to take advantage of any good light left. Out comes a tree of a Pokemon, Ruhi to be exact. Yu screeches at the apperance of a grasser and starts flapping his wings. But Ruhi is awfully quick on the draw, shutting Yu's trap with a well-aimed Solarbeam. As that Beam dissipates on Yu's body, the sands billow in, obstructing any more conflicts of interest. (-1)

Yu glides down in the midst of all this gritty sand, leaving Ruhi to guess where the Aero may strike from. It wouldn't wait long as a weight clamped down on his backside and bit into his tree like torso! Fiery pains shot up his side, but Ruhi wobbled back and forth, spitting out an Energy Ball from its furthest cocohead. The attack strikes Yu in the face, forcing him to release his grip. (-1)

Ruhi knows that was a lucky break and he tries to get some visible cue to where the flier may swoop down from next. A flap to the distant left makes Ruhi's opposing face stare off, but nothing.

Yu however, is right above the cocoheaded plant and fires a Flamethrower directly down on the foliage. Ruhi runs from the flames and manages to fire Seeds backwards as it flees. Yu laughs, as the unaimed attack does not have enough distance to actually hit him from this point. (-1)

Ruhi groans, but trudges on in this sand infested match, as Yu scours the sky with flame. Fearing those ignited molecules, Ruhi vanishes from the Sandstorm (-1), taking a big risk. Yu swoops in to check on his quarry, but sees nothing! Where is the fiery corpse? The screams of misery? he smell of coconut oil?

Its all on top of him, as Ruhi reappears on Yu's back. Those cocoheads all clocked together and out pours a generous dousing of Sleep Powder, whipped to Yu's face by the same storm he conjured up. Yu coughed and air bucked, throwing Ruhi off before crashing head first into the ground.

Yu stays splayed across the battlefield as walks over. It seemed that it was as good a time as any to eat. Ruhi linked through the rocky exterior, into the mental recessed of the prehistoric flier, and nibbled on flights of fancy.(-1)

Yu still sleeps on the ground, but Ruhi is determined to keep that beast down. He focuses and starts to shake, releasing spores that hold the flapping beast at bay. In response, all Yu seemed to be able to do was Snore! That threw Ruhi back, that damn thing could still move! (-1)

The Sandstorm starts to loosen its torrential wind pattern, and Ruhi thanks the sun god for this. Yu is stuck in neutral, and that allows Ruhi to nibble on a flier's dreams some more. mmm they taste like candy rain.(-1)

Ruhi looks at Yu, and notes that its bulk is trying to move. Ulp, that's not safe. So a massive sphere of energy is fired at the rocky bird and YU is forced to stay grounded. Fine. Yu doesn't care. Yu stares up at Ruhi and opens his mouth, since those are the only muscles he really needs. Fire streams out in a heavy torrent, covering Ruhi and forcing him to run around all crazy.(-1)

Yu forces his wings into motion, and the initial dust sweep makes Ruhi take a step back. (-1) Yu takes that opportunity to land on Ruhi, talons hooking into his sides as he takes Ruhi to the ground. Fiery fangs bits down atop Ruhi's palmish head, and Ruhi freaks out from the close knit flames.

Ruhi makes the best of it, and shoots Sleep spores all around Yu's face and eyes. It works, as Yu is soon dead asleep, still gripping onto Ruhi.

Finally, that damn thing is asleep! Ruhi kicks the Aero off of him and immediatly tries sucking down those reams of its.(-1) Any health is good heath. Would this Sandstorm leave!?
