The Torchic really doesn't have a shot as Hydro and Luna keep the battle quite handicapped. Hydro smacks the Trochic twice more with its tails, leaving Torchic severely spirit broken. Luna capitalizes on the wet feathery bird by flinging mud in its face.

Torchic hangs on the web, limp, and you decide its time to throw that sphere. It hits Torchic right in the head, and in moments, disappears into the ball.

You reach the second floor, and spy another Torchic. However, near the base to the stairwell that goes to the third floor, there is a pair of Raticates.

There is a rope however, in the center of the room that goes up to the very top floor-well, as far as you can tell. In the corner, a Geodude watches you.

Gulliver flies over to the Kecleon, and grabs it by its tail. Kecleon hisses, and uses his tongue to lash Gulliver's hold on him. The pair of them then got into a scuffle.

But you had a different dilemma now. Ecta pulls you down and the two of you peer into the window, as Gulliver tries to swallow Kecleon in its pouch. You look in the window, and see a very perplexing scene.

The Hoothoot you talked to is talking to a larger Noctowl. The Noctowl seems to be scolding her, as another person that you can't see. Ecta hisses, pointing to the Noctowl's butt. A butt missing a feather.

Gulliver is now dealing with Kecleon kicking around in his punch and snapping his upper jaw up like a trash can, as they fall into a fountain.

The stairwell is slippery, and you can hear sand still sliding down from the walls of the newly made passageway. When you reach the bottom, you happen upon an old walkway. You take it, having no other choice. Caucus and Fenrir stay close, they seem to feel this place's energy as much as you do. The walkway break off prematurely, and the gap between halves is sizeable. You lookup, and see a massive space between you and the ceiling, as well as a huge flock of bats fly by.

You see that you can climb down to your left, or keep going straight. Phione is there as well, smiling since the barriers gone!

As you and Ecta hurry to gather evidence, the Noctowl turns toward the window...and sees nothing. He opens it, and then goes back to talking.

You went low, Ecta went high (why'd he go up?) Peering back in, the Hoothoot looked a bit disappointed as the Noctowl has his back to the window. You get one photo, of his posterior. You get another photo of him talking to the ...wait what did he say?

"Furthermore, if I had not been here, that rabble rouser would have turned our plan upside down! Be thankful humans are susceptible to my ability to make them see what I wish them to."

"Sorry Commissioner. What are your orders?"

"Everything will go as planned. The Bidoofuties, minus Rebecca, will keep guard over the flabbergasted excuse for a Tenant president-and those children shall be ours. That will give us the leverage we need....

You slink away, realizing you stumbled upon something major. Gulliver and Kecleon are in a hell of a mess. Kecleon's tongue is tied around Gulliver's pouch with him still inside it, looking like a corset.

Why a rope, you wonder...and then you figure it out.

The floor creaks under your weight, and you smell burned wood everywhere. This place must've been badly burned before, but somehow still stands. In (what must be a sturdy corner) sits a very large rock.

A Claydol floats up and away as you approach...and then Caucus shoves you out the the way!

A Pillar falls and breaks the walkway in half! No turning back now. You hear wingbeats; Falcon and Fenrir sound as if they're not too far ahead.

You 4 fly in the stealthiest fashion possibly, and make it up to North Terrace in record time. Ecta lands a few rooves ahead and hides as KArma looks around the rooves. You still don't know where this guy lives.

But Gulliver, Gulliver saves the day. He quacks, and you look east of your location. You spy something odd...a dark shape fiddling on a roof.

At night? The Ditto chimney sweeps are prolly done for the day. Could that be it!? Ecta though spies something on a roof to the West...it seems to be staring at Gulliver..

You look round from Bronco's back, and see you're on a street with much more prospects. There's a Chansey and a Chimchar over to the west, and whoa holy crap, there's a Jolteon and a Luxray playing with a ball.

Two poison types against my loan grass. Looks like we're going to need some help with this one, Caucus. Let's try to sneak by them first and foremost, but if they're unwilling, we'll hafta rough them up first. Fortunately, you've got got your weird poison regen thing activated.

If they come at you, knock 'em to sleep with a twin Spore attack!

Karma, do you mind dropping off? Seeing as you probably have ninja skills as well as stealth. Ecta, go see what's at that window. Gullivver, to the meddlers! (10:1 says the ditto's get triple pay on night shift...)

Alright then I'll head towards the Jolteon. I'll have Digit focus on shooting the coldest possible Ice Beam (meaning I'd rather him freeze the Jolteon than do damage), then I'll have him use Thunder Wave on the Jolteon, and finish by relaxing. As for Broncho, it'd be mighty dangerous to be facing down two Electric type, so I'll have Broncho Whirlwind away the Luxray. Then use Ominous Wind on the Jolteon, and finish with Sweet Scent on Jolteon.

Then-to be a prick-it \throws rocks at you! The Rocks however, miss you, but hit the floor...breaking it from under you.

Rich shoots a webbing that catches you from hitting the second floor face first, but now yer spinning in the air by your butt. The Graveler laughs.

Ecta and Karma split up, Ecta diving eagerly to see what's going on to the house he spotted. You and Gulliver flap over to the busy rooftop and land quite nosily. The stealthy figure is startled by your arrival, and jumps down the chimney!

You and Gulliver look down the chimney, but don't see a thing. Dilemma. If you hop down to run in the house the criminal could climb back out and escape...but if you stay up there, they could escape out a window or the front?!

Hrm. So many Pokemon. You opt for the Jolteon. Digit and Bronco try fora dual combination here. Bronco's size is what catches both Jolt and Lux , and then the Whirlwind that barrels in flings Luxray away for a bit. Jolteon is surprised; and that's when the frigid air hits his side. He growls in anguish, as Digit rocks there, proud of himself.

Jolteon charges up now, and fires a nasty Signal Beam. Digit is hit and reels backwards, just as a second strange wind comes in and tries to give Jolteon something else to worry about. Jolt turns to note Bronco! Crap; its helping the robot?

No peace, as Digit tries to paralyze it! However, Digit made a bit of a miscalc on that one, and the Thunder wave just flew right to Jolt, whom licked his lips at it.

Bronco tries to rectify the mistake by calming the electric Pokemon down, but Jolteon is a bit fast. He books away from the pair, letting that Sweet Scent waft in a totally different direction, as he stands a few feet behind you.

You race to the rim, as Tsunami flies over, taking a bird's eye view. There are tunnels lining the sides of the caldera, and way down there, a large magma pool. You note a signpost that points to a way that you can begin a walk into the crater, and you go for it. Its thin, so you and Jacen go single file. Betty waves for Tsu, she's a bit larger than that walkway would allow.

After a short walk, you end up on a landing that goes into the island. Its hot,and the cave is lit by the firey hell below. You see a Vullpix and a Hundour, but they break off into a run the second you take a step. Tsu and Betty swoop in and land, Betty noting the heat change.
