Whoa fight night in the Hidden Temple! As the twin Sevipers try to combine their efforts on the poor little Phione, you call out for air support. Caucus gets right in the nitty gritty and blasts off a Spore! The dust cloud explodes on one Seviper, right as a Poison Tail slices at Caucus to back him off. Whoo, Toxic regen here we go!

The dust settles and one Seviper-the one pinning Phione, is asleep. But so is Phione! That's no good. This leaves Caucus to fire a second Spore. But this Seviper knows that game and splits into 4 clones, letting the dust cloud just glide on by!

Caucus isn't too pleased with this predicament, and starts an Earthquake on these ruins. Not the best idea maybe? It hurts the Seviper he's fighting, and the dormant one is thrown off of Phione...long enough for a shape to swoop down and take Phione! Holy Hell!

Caucus and you look in awe as a Flygon hovers above you all, the sleeping Pokmeon in its grasp. Just then a black shape lands in front of you. Its Fenrir, and Falconzord is barreling right for Flygon!

You and Gulliver jump toward the frnt door and Gulliver bursts in, spraying water, his arms out and his wings pointed in the shape of guns!

You dive in right after, and barrel roll into the living room, right when a Hydro Pump flies from Gulliver, over your shoulder and catches a form off guard! Two screams are heard, and then then the form hit by the water heads for the window!

It tries to jump out but a strange binding force seems to wrap around the would be knapper! All of a sudden, the kapper screams, in a familiar voice

"Get out of here! It's a setup!"

The window crashes in from the southeast, and Ectabat is on his back, a Noctowl holding his neck down to the ground. Bidoof police surround the house and the police lights blared in now. The binded thief was still held, and Karma stayed invisible, as the Noctowl looked directly at you, sneering.

"Well, we have our baby knappers....how fortunate for us all."

This Jolteon charged up now, ready to fire a new Thunderbolt attack. Bronco is struck by the blast, and Digit tries to stop any more accurate throws by launching a Flash. Jolt winces and stumbles around a bit. Bronco stomps the ground and forces the Jolteon to fall.

Jolteon tries to stand back up, but a second Flash really messes things up for the electric fox. It sprints toward a wall, and tries to bite it. Well Bronco approves and runs right at Jolt, slamming into it. The Pokemon bounces off the wall and rolls across the ground haphazardly.

Jolteon quits trying to aim, and fires off a Swift. The stars strike Bronco, but Digit follows up with an Icy Wind to slow the fox down. Bronco manages to crane its neck over and spit on Jolteon, to try and break him down even more. Jolteon groaned, not able to take more of this.

Zord breaks off from its headlong path into Flygon and swoops low enough to get Fenrir. But..I guess that Seviper right there was just a cold duck, cause he jumps on Falcon's back as well and Poison Tail's Fenrir off! Fenrir grunts as he lands, Falcon noting the change in weight distribution oh boy-and he's freaking out cause there's a snake on his back.

Caucaus meanwhile tries for a Shoryuuken. He jumps off a wall in order to add to his height, and manages to hit the Flygon in the gut! His grip doesn't last though and Caucus comes falling back down as Flygon makes a retreat.

Fenrir tries a Heal Bell, just to make sure no poison got to his system. This has a few effects. One, it does cure Fenrir of any malady. Two, it cures Caucus of his Toxic regen (boo!), and three, it wakes Phione up! Phione groggily looks up at its would be captor and squeals for help. It seems a bit young to know Ice Beam, but nonetheless, a chilling power rises from its diminutive body and slams into Flygon. The dragon goes barrelling down, not too far away in the ruins.

But the ruins are alive with sounds of creatures all over.

Ah, a Smeargle. You walk in with Jabin, and slowly sit down near the Mime, who resumes watching the painter. The Smeargle ushers you in, actually, and quckly sketches out a few things. All of a sudden, a easel and paint palate appear in yours and Jabin's hands.

Its a class? Well you'll be a Mankey's uncle?! You and Jabin join in. You note your teacher is just a regular ol' Smeargle, and Jabin seems really into the class. He stares hard as the Smeargle starts off with a few deep strokes of blue. Jabin mimicking, not letting any motion of the Smeargle get away.

Jabin and you continue to pain along with the Mr Mime, and the Gallade tries to fire off a Confuse Ray. But Smeargle paints a brilliant rainbow, that seems to stretch out and cover him, stopping the ray. Safeguard? You weren't sure.

Jabin groans, and tightens his grip on the paintbrush. His focus is heightened for the task at hand, but you realize this Smeargle knows what its doing.

This is getting out of hand. Ecta and Gulliver try to follow your commands, and Ecta strikes the Noctowl with its tail. The wet smack pushes the owl off, and yet this older Pokemon seems ready to throw down. He dips around and banks past an Ice Beam fired by Gulliver.

Gulliver stands in shock and Noctowl flies right in Gullivers face, before slashing the pelican down. You stand there in amazement, that was a pretty smart ploy! Gulliver and Ecta recover, and Ecta tries to make a break for it. Gulliver creates a Tailwind, but Noctowl somehow rides it as well, and you all don't take into account the MASSES of Bidoof troopers out there that don't seem to be bothered at all by your speed attempt. They dogpile Gulliver and Ectabat, and you manage to avoid the pile.

You land, and a Bidoof stands right in front of you. You look up and you realize yer staring at Rebecca! You right yourself and glare as your Pokemon are restrained, and the Noctowl laughs while walking toward you. You quick glance at the roof, to see Karma still up there with the fiend.

"Now, young gumshoe. Let me ask you. Is this the house that was on the mark for a staged kidnapping?"

You follow the twin fire types, and descend into the fire tunnels. You run for a few minutes, but realize you've lost them. That's alright though, there is a bevy of wildlife down here. You make a left and end up in a tunnel that has no exit. In the back here is a Graveler that has his hands up. In front of him is a Combusken, who is sweating hard, yet punching and kicking at the raised Graveler's hands. Looks like rock-y training.


What do you do?

Falconzord, dive down for Phi! Fenrir, take care of the seviper twins (both if you can) with a barrage of Psychic attacks.

Caucus, use Mud Slap on the seviper closest to you!

Gullivver, Once that mist is up, aim an Ice Beam at that Noctowl. Then get out of there!

Shit just goes from peaceful to terror filled. You throw out orders and run up the stairs, thinking maybe you can get closer to the action. The path you are on ropes around backwards, damnit, that's the last thing you need. You climb onto what you believe is a pillar to see Falconzord dive where Flygon landed. Falcon and Flygon both then take off, each grabbing one of the other's foot and having a wing beating contest. Phione is clear, and flees-completely terrified.

Caucus turns to note the sleeping Seviper is awake now! Caucus quickly kicks up some Mud from a corner, but Seviper is too closer and immediately wraps itself around Caucus! He starts to constrict, but Caucus keeps his limbs pressed out in all direction, fighting against it. Ha they look like a wheel.

That leaves the second Seviper that was on Falconzord. Evidently it went off -after the Phione, whom manages to make it way through a small hole near your location. Seviper follows, and Fenrir lunges for it, hitting it with a Psychic attack. Seviper hits the wall, and Phione heads past you toward a very large coffin shaped box.

The Noctowl seems ready to ask you the question again, but you decide violence is the answer. You issue commands, and Gulliver tries to head up with a Super sonic. Ecta backs him up with a Screech, and the Bidoof army seems to be annoyed! God, their blank stares give NOTHING away! But they're super fast....how can that be? They're all glistening too...the hell?

Noctowl however, seems unphazed by this and dives at Gulliver, pinning him down. Ecta speeds toward the Kecleon who's now in a fight with the "fiend". The fiend manages to smack Kecleon three times with its twin appendages, before cartwheeling off the roof and running toward you! Karma stares for a bit as Ecta dives toward and tags the fiend, pinning him and raising one pincer to his throat.

Noctowl is suddenly shrouded in a mist that Gulliver starts to flap up, but the Bidoof collective manage to just.. surround Gulliver and Noctowl.

An Ice Beam flies up from the center, but instead of Gulliver flying up, its the Noctowl, holding Gulliver by the back of his neck. A sheen adorned, Noctowl then slams his wing in the back of Gullivers head, almost knocking him out. He throws him back to your feet and lands, smirking.

"Our Bidoofs are trained well. Substitute en mass to double our armada size is but one of our tricks." he hoots before landing in front of you and Rebecca, who's hiding behind you.

Ecta cackles and holds the fiend up. Noctowl turns and seems unphazed by his catch.

"You all have been more than helpful, but I'm sure we have this wrapped out-and tomorrow morning we'll have all the explanation we need. Now...just....relax."

Noctowl's eyes start to glow at you...

The Jolteon falls, seemingly crippled. Quite a heavy hit. It looks pretty bad for the Pokemon, but then something weird happens. Digit beeps quite erratically.

Bronco turns around, to receives an icy bite to its left set of wings! He freaks, and Jolteon seems to snark in glee. Its the Luxray! That Whirlwind must have petered out and its back to cause some nasty mayhem. Bronco tries to heal off the health lot just now...

...but the Luxray has his own tricks. He flashes! Bronco and Digit freak, and Luxray manages to get the Jolteon by the neck and scatters!

By the time the light clears, the pair of Pokemon are gone!

You leave the two to train, and head to a tunnel to the left instead. This tunnel splits into a few different caverns. You search the nearest one.

Inside is a group of Slugma just oozing along. A Ninetales also strides out of a farther tunnel and walks past you all.

What do you do?

Fenrir, stay and protect Phione. Use Psychic three times on that nasty seviper.

Caucus, use Spore again to knock that snake out, then trap him in a Rock Tomb! Finally, try to locate the Falconzord and help him out. Try a Grass Knot whip to bring down that flygon.

Falconzord, use two Twisters on Flygon, then if Caucus manages to wrangle him with a knot, use Brave Bird to help send him back to the ground!

Ecta, I want you to make a mark on Ambipoms neck so he can't deny his involvement (DON'T KILL HIM), then let him free and earthquake several times.

Gullivver, let's focus on that Noctowl. Blizzard, Ice beam, Blizzard. Close your eyes for each time!

You efforts are split up very far, but you keep it together. Falcon and Flygon keep their aerial tussle. Falcon locks both feet with Flygon and begins to whirl him around, creating a Twister. But Flygon is a bit of a flier himself, and manages the same, making them both stuck in a Super Twister.

As they whirl along, you look to Caucus who barely spring free of Sevipers grasp and Poison Fang, launching a Spore wipe with his tail. Seviper -in motion already, manages to lean just enough so the Spore overshoots his head. The blast flies for a while...

Meanwhile Fenrir finally cuts off the other Seviper right as Phione jumps on the coffin lid. A Psychic blast pushes that snake back, but it doesn't give up. It Screeches in pain, giving Fenrir something to worry about. Fenrir tries to silence it again with another Psychic, but both Fen and Sev look up.

You look back to that twister, and notes its headed right for you. You look a bit harder, and the two flying fools are dead asleep----the Spore! Craaaaaap! You run, and so does the Seviper fighting Caucus. The troupe of you all reach the coffin, and realize if that super Twister hits, yer all going flying. Phione begins banging on the lid, and the twin snakes begin shoving it. It moves and then...you, Fenrir and Caucus go falling!

*SLAM* is the sound of the trap door closing, who knows how far up and away. Yer in a dark place now.....wonder how far you fell?

You look ahead, and see that there are three paths, one going right, one going straight-into a larger room and one going left. You also smell fire. Faintly.

Whoa hot!

That looks promising. You walk past the magma pool and step lively into teh tunnel where the purple streak went. Its slick, so you hold onto the wall. Tsunami and Jacen get the memo, but Betty. Ooooh.

Humpty Dumpty trips, and gets the ball rolling so you all slide down. The tunnel drops steeply, and then goes through a roller coaster of twists and turns.

It then opens up -and ends- into a free fall and Jacen uses his blades to stop his fall. Tsunami banks out of the fall, catching Betty, and you land on a ledge. You pat the walls, and feel that they're really smooth. No Climbing. Fen and Caucus both look down opposing corridors. Nothing. That leaves the one straightaway. The three you you reach the end of that hallway, and step into the bigger room. There's a very high ceiling, with balconies.

In the middle of the room is a large cylindrical pillar, with spokes sticking out of it. Past this, there seems to be a massive door with a mural painted on it.

You keep climbing and get up to the 5th floor level. You can count at least 4 more floors above this. This is a long way to climb. Richard just scuttles ahead of you, and looks down at you from floor 6. You reach there after a while, and hop off the rope.

This floor is sturdy. It looks cleaner too. That Weezing is still around, as well as a Cubone.

You instruct Caucus to climb, but there's only one row of spokes and they encircle the base. Otherwise, climbing is futile. You and Fenrir though walk to the Mural, and note it is an ancient painting of the ground rising up toward the sky-lava moving through it scracks. There's a portion that looks like it has an eyeball though... Odd.

The fire smell suddenly intensifies..

You realize this is a bigger fish than you though, but a challenge is a challenge. Jabin and you keep painting, and during the quiet time, Jabin reflects on the future. Smeargle just keeps painting. The fighter tries to then charm the Smeargle with a wittly caricature in the painting. Smeargle checks his works, and Double Slaps him for wasting precious canvas.

Jabin then uses a bright white blot on his canvas, to mimic a Flash, that catches the pup off guard. He drops his tail-and the spell is broke. You are free for now! The Mime though, was liking the paint class.

You immediately spot your clothes and put them on, before running out the door to your room (someone brung you flowers and chocolate too?)...onyl to fall. Whoa, where'd that nasty cut on your leg come from?

You reach floor 6....nothing up here. You keep climbing. Floor 7 though...whoa. Its a steel floor! You manage off the rope and Richard scuttles up to join you. There's a stairwell here..and a C ombusken standing at the foot of the stairs.

It doesn't take long before you hear a startled yelp, and the Jolteon growls in its apparent misfortune of ever running into you. The Luxray is not to be seen currently.
