Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here. If you fish from shore, Water Pokemon encounter rates are the same as for Tranquil Shores.


Rounds 71/143
Rawk Hawk and Miles step back to allow Kamon to finish off the powerful beast that stands before them. But before Kamon can unleash his attack, Heatran fires off a powerful blast of solar energy that collides with the magcargo [ -12HP Kamon / -9PP Heatran ]. Kamon takes a few seconds to recalibrate his senses... and then fires off the last attack [ -14HP Heatran / -7PP Kamon ].

Heatran stumbles backwards before falling to the ground. Not yet defeated, the guardian fails to attack further.

"My intention wasn't to destroy you, trainers. It was merely a test to see how loyal your pokémon are to you. Even against a guardian, they remained vigilante. Do with me what you wish..."

Bello retreats to your side while Pachi takes her place. The rodent immediately runs up to Leafeon and nestles her face against the fox's, confusing her to no end [ +25% Con Leafeon /-3PP Pachirisu ]. Leafeon just stands there... completely unsure of what to do with herself until she's tackled by Pachi [ -4HP Leafeon / -3PP Pachirisu ].

The vulpine of grass snaps out of her confusion thanks to that and retalliates with a striking leaf blade -- Leafeon does a somersault, striking Pachi with the base of her sharpened tail [ -9HP Pachirisu / -5PP Leafeon ]. Pachi reels back before striking the fox with a volley of swift blades [ -6HP Leafeon / -4PP Pachirisu ].

So, what did you test our pokemon for (like Kamon would ever falter, he's the king!)? Do you have any idea how to get into the Pagoda on this island? Since my friend here was looking for an entrance. Oh and tell us something we don't know yet as an extra

You stare out into the hole with your three pokémon following suit -- it leads down the mountain path. The cold weather is biting against your features -- Frost enjoys it, while Goku seems otherwise. Mastermind is the only one to show no interest as the four of you slowly climb down. Mastermind quickly zips down the mountainside like a tobaggan! Whoops.

Leafeon whistles a soothing whistling sound to tire out Pachi [ -4PP Leafeon ], but she remains strong against it as she fires off a swift bolt of electricity that is once again brushed off by the vulpine's leaf guard [ -3PP Pachirisu ].

Damning it all, Pachi charges at Leafeon and chomps down... hard... twice [ -10HP + -8HP Leafeon / -8PP Pachirisu ], before succumbing to her own tiredness and becoming victim to Leafeon's tendrils as they slowly siphon away her health [ -7HP Pachirisu / -4PP, +4HP Leafeon ].

You fumble around in your pockets for Mastermind's poké ball, but before you can recall the digitalmon back, you realize that it's just out of range! Crap!

Hum Mr. Slaps come out and search the area for Items, however should the need arise help your partners by getting of them and using aether Magic Coat, or Protect but that's only if the other Spinarak and their mother get in the fury.

Sirius come back out look for a male Spinarak and tell Trill and use roar to scare the other spiders and their mother away, then kick it with Blaze Kick twice.

Trill after using mean look on the male Spinarak that Sirius points out then taunt it then fish off with Air Cutter.

meanwhile I'll go over to the Stunky and pet it, then scratch behind it's ear then see how it well respond...

You summon the other two pokémon in your squad of three. Slaps continues searching for items of note, while Sirius and Trill look for a male one. He homes in on the one to the immediate right and squawks loudly -- they all scuttle away before Trill can lock them into place.

Meanwhile, you step away from your team and head back towards the slothful stunky. His stench is... pretty apparent. You're not so sure you want to approach her after all.

As Mastermind speeds down the mountainside like a speeding bullet speeding down a mountainside, Frost creates a raft out of ice for the three of you to ride down [ -5PP Frost ].

Throwing caution to the wind, you follow the digital monster in hopes to catch up to it and maybe repair it if need be.

About fives minutes pass before you reach the bottom of the mountain -- Mastermind seems to've disappeared.
