Round 1
We begin this battle amongst rivals in a playground of sorts. The inappropriate sizing of our combatants are almost as inappropriate as the Randy Newman playing piano in this room. Why does he hang out here all the time? Doesn't he have a place of his own to live? People of his own to harass? But I digress...

This battle is a first-to-five-victories free-for-all, with Ayeun and her rival, Chaos, going at it. Ayeun chooses her first pokémon, an unnamed female skorupi. Chaos, meanwhile, chooses a male shelgon named Tiamat. I wonder of Ti knows that he's named after a girl dragon. Nevertheless, things are happening!

Skorupi is the first up, and poisons her pincers menacingly while slashing them in an X-formation at the dragon! SLASH!, it's a critical hit that causes Tiamat to double back in pain [ -14HP Tiamat / -4PP Skorupi ]. Ti takes a moment to gather his senses before retalliating with a devilish air slash that sweeps across the toy battlefield and slices through the scorpion's body [ -9HP Skorupi / -4PP Tiamat ].

None-too-pleased with the last attack, Skorupi pulls back her tail before swiftly slamming it down into the shelgon's body, poisoning him [ -8HP, +3% Psn Tiamat / -5PP Skorupi ]. The dragon responds with a flamethrower that easily devours the bug pokémon [ -14HP, +3% Brn Skorupi / -7PP Tiamat ].

Both pokémon now stare at one another with their respective ailments biting down upon them. Ti readies his dragon claws while Skorupi bounds forward, sinking her teeth into the dragonmon quite fearlessly [ -5HP Tiamat / -2PP, -1HP Skorupi ]. Ti roars in pain whilst bashing the scorpion with his claws, dealing quite a bit of damage in retalliation [ -8HP Skorupi / -5PP, -1HP Tiamat ].

Round 2
The unnamed skorupi begins the second round simply enough -- she stares into the eyes of her opponent, trying to lure him into a fit of confusion. But she does't realize that the eyes that stare back at her belong not to Tiamat at all! He's created a substitution to absorb all attacks from her [ -15HP, -5PP, -1HP Tiamat / +15HP Shelclone / -3PP, -1HP Skorupi ].

Tiamat smiles with a flare of glee (although you'd never be able to see it since his face is hidden away so well) as he attempts to seduce Skorupi with his charm. However, this proves quite difficult since she's quite distracted with destroying his clone with a wave of dark radiation [ -8HP Shelclone / -2PP, -1HP Tiamat / -6PP, -1HP Skorupi ].

Quite displeased by his own facade, Ti decides to douse his adversary in a sea of flames. The flamethrower bites hard, causing some heavy pain upon Skorupi [ -14HP Skorupi / -7PP, -1HP Tiamat ]. Rupi endures the hit as best as she can before destroying the clone with a glob of venomous destruction [ -6HP Shelclone / -6PP, -1HP Skorupi ].

Round 3
Skorupi waits patiently for Ti to finish charging up his attack, and just as he finishes the preparations and nearly fires it off, she kicks dust into his eyes [ -10% Acc Tiamat / -2PP, -1HP Skorupi ], an effect that causes him to completely throw his attack off course [ -5PP, -1HP Tiamat ]. Dag-blasted scorpion!

Said scorpion raises her venomous barb, striking down upon the dragon cacoon harshly -- she hits critically!, leaving him displeased [ -14HP Tiamat / -4PP, -1HP Scorupi ]. Unamused, Ti responds with a flamethrower that ripples across Skorupi's pincers with no regard for her safety [ -14HP Scorupi / -7PP, -1HP Tiamat ].

Ti responds quickly, summoning a volley of rocks to rain down upon Skorupi, trapping her easily [ -7HP, -10% Spd Skorupi / -4PP, -1HP Tiamat ]. The scorpion begins hyperventalating for a few seconds before firing off four pin missiles. They have little effect [ -4PP, -1HP Skorupi ] on her rocky prison, but at least she can see now.

Round 4
Ti wastes no time, hitting Skorupi with another nasty flamethrower [ -14HP Scorupi / -7PP, -1HP Tiamat ], just as the scorpion lays down a seedy, venomous trap [ -5PP Skorupi / Toxic Spikes activated ]. Tiamat ignores them, striking Skorupi with one last flamethrower to bring her down [ -12HP Scorupi / -7PP, -1HP Tiamat ].

The first round goes to Chaos_Redefined! Both trainers recall their respective pokémon.

Round 5
The second batch of pokémon are called out, Spikey and Tokuchi. Spike squeals with delight, while Tokuchi manages to avoid the toxic spikes layed about on the kid room floor. Who puts those in a child's bedroom, anyway?

Spikey wastes no time, sacrificing a partition of her own health to create a life-like pichu clone that confuses her foe [ -15HP, -5PP Spikey / +15HP Pichu2 ]. None the wiser, Tokuchi throws her body forward, checking the clone [ -8HP Pichu2 / -4PP Tokuchi ].

Toku then flings out a wild water pulse that crashes into the doll [ -6HP Pichu2 / -4PP Tokuchi ], but gets slammed hard by Spikey's explosive tackle [ -18HP Tokuchi / -7PP, -3HP Spikey ].

Toku pulls himself together for a second before letting loose with a rogue shadow ball -- the orb of death crashes into the doll, finally destroying it once and for all [ -1HP Pichu2 / -6PP Tokuchi ]!, but when Toku realizes it was a mere clone, he begins to fume. Just in time to be struck with Spikey's shock wave attack [ -9HP Tokuchi / -3PP Spikey ].

Round 6
Spikey drives forward, igniting her body in more electricity as the powerfully tackles her opponent [ -18HP Tokuchi / -7PP, -3HP Spikey ]. Tokuchi hits the ground with a harsh thud before retalliating with a shot of her own electricity, paralyzing the mouse [ +25% Par Spikey / -5PP Tokuchi ].

Spikey attempts to move but her body won't even try as Tokuchi hits her with a renegade water pulse [ -6HP Spikey / -4PP Tokuchi ].

Tokuchi then decides to poison his foe; spitting out a noxus goop, Tokuchi successfully manages to ail Spikey [ +3% Tox Spikey / -5PP Tokuchi ]. The poisons slowly get stronger and stronger against the pichu as she stammers forward, throwing her electric body into Tokuchi once more [ -18HP Tokuchi / -7PP, -3HP, -1HP Spikey ].
