Round 1
We begin this battle amongst rivals in a playground of sorts. The inappropriate sizing of our combatants are almost as inappropriate as the Randy Newman playing piano in this room. Why does he hang out here all the time? Doesn't he have a place of his own to live? People of his own to harass? But I digress...

This battle is a first-to-five-victories free-for-all, with Ayeun and her rival, Chaos, going at it. Ayeun chooses her first pokémon, an unnamed female skorupi. Chaos, meanwhile, chooses a male shelgon named Tiamat. I wonder of Ti knows that he's named after a girl dragon. Nevertheless, things are happening!

Skorupi is the first up, and poisons her pincers menacingly while slashing them in an X-formation at the dragon! SLASH!, it's a critical hit that causes Tiamat to double back in pain [ -14HP Tiamat / -4PP Skorupi ]. Ti takes a moment to gather his senses before retalliating with a devilish air slash that sweeps across the toy battlefield and slices through the scorpion's body [ -9HP Skorupi / -4PP Tiamat ].

None-too-pleased with the last attack, Skorupi pulls back her tail before swiftly slamming it down into the shelgon's body, poisoning him [ -8HP, +3% Psn Tiamat / -5PP Skorupi ]. The dragon responds with a flamethrower that easily devours the bug pokémon [ -14HP, +3% Brn Skorupi / -7PP Tiamat ].

Both pokémon now stare at one another with their respective ailments biting down upon them. Ti readies his dragon claws while Skorupi bounds forward, sinking her teeth into the dragonmon quite fearlessly [ -5HP Tiamat / -2PP, -1HP Skorupi ]. Ti roars in pain whilst bashing the scorpion with his claws, dealing quite a bit of damage in retalliation [ -8HP Skorupi / -5PP, -1HP Tiamat ].
