RaZor Leaf vs papabobb [R] Grey - 5 Gen battle / 5th Gen
Since DL is having what.. 10 single 1 on 1 battles in 1 thread, I had an idea. I was going to wait until 5th gen came out, but I can always do this again when it does.
Only 1 challenger, it's basically a 4 on 4 but it's done in four separate 1 on 1 battles. When one battle is over, the winning pokemon is withdrawn and the next battle starts a new. But to make it interesting, each battle follows the rules of a particular generation. So:
Battle 1 - 1st Gen
Can only use pokemon introduced in the 1st gen (Red/Blue)
Can only use moves from the 1st gen
No Steel/Dark types
No abilities
Moves are their original types/strength (Bulbapedia will list them)
Type effectiveness based on Red/Blue games
Battle 2 - 2nd Gen
Can only use original pokemon introduced in the 2nd gen (Gold/Silver) (No evos of previous pokemon)
Can only use moves from the 1st + 2nd gen
No abilities
Moves are their original types/strength (Bulbapedia will list them)
Battle 3 - 3rd Gen
Can only use pokemon introduced in the 3rd gen (Ruby/Sapphire) (No evos of previous pokemon)
Can only use moves from the 1st, 2nd + 3rd gen
Can only use abilities introduced in 3rd gen
Moves are their original types/strength (Bulbapedia will list them)
Battle 4 - 4th gen
Can only use pokemon introduced in the 4th gen (Diamond/Pearl) (No evos of previous pokemon)
Can only use moves from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd + 4th gen
Can only use abilities introduced in 4th gen
Moves are their original types/strength (Bulbapedia will list them)
Battle 5 - 5th Gen
Can only use pokemon introduced in the 5th gen
Standard rules apply
So, anyone up for it? You'll need a pokemon form each gen.
I'll call for the first battle, you attack first. After that we swap for each battle.
