    Default Blade VS. chaos - TF2 Battle (Ref: the ape)

    With my All-Comers' Challenge and my final Gym battle at an end, combined with Charles Legend forfeiting his insane 70-on-1 challenge, I now am battling nobody but Master of Paradox.

    I need more opponents. So I am setting up a series of challenges.

    The rules are all the same:

    1. The battles will be a 3-on-3 battle, 1 Pokemon at a time.
    2. The referee will decide on first turn attack order.
    3. The DQ time will be the standard. One week, no more and no less.
    4. No moves are banned. But I won't start busting out the annoying ones like Rest and Toxic until you do first. If my opponent and/or ref wish to ban anything, I'll consider it depending on the request.
    5. Abilities are in effect.

    Really, the only difference between these 3 new battles I am setting up is the arena. The second arena:

    pl_Badwater

    Badwater is a large, arid quarry shaped somewhat like a spiral when viewed from above. Its most prominent feature is a wooden wagon with a nuke loaded onto it, mounted on a train track. Said track begins at the base of a cliff and spans outward through a tunnel past a warehouse, under a catwalk, past several wooden shacks and houses, and finally down a cement slope surrounded on three sides by a fortress of wood, stone, and steel. At the bottom of that cement slope is the rail's end, suspended above a crater filled with explosives.

    This cratered area is where the battle will take place. It is a good 40 feet wide and long at the least. The crater is covered with a glassy material that no attack can break. The explosives within cannot be Dug or Teleported into, Psychically manipulated, or otherwised interfered with.

    The basin is currently under attack, which means that all nine Team Fortress 2 classes are out and about en masse. The RED team will be passing the battlefield now and then, more focused on the BLU team pushing a cart of explosive fiery death towards their base than on you. If they pass by, don't pester them, or they will attack:

    A Scout will hit with the startling speed of an Astonish.
    A Soldier will fire with the explosive strength of a Seed Bomb.
    A Pyro will, naturally, blast you with her Flamethrower.
    A Demoman will slice enemies with his possessed sword, a la a Night Slash.
    A Heavy will smash aggressors with his massive Fists, dealing a Mega Punch.
    An Engineer will whip out his vindictive shotgun and take Revenge.
    A Medic will use his Needle Gun and unload a furious Pin Missile storm.
    A Sniper will fire his Sydney Sleeper, doing the irksome damage of a Poison Sting.
    A Spy will tap into his Spycrab powers and slam foes with his Crabhammer.

    With each round, the BLU team on the other side of the map will push their cart a bit further towards the RED base - and your battle. Every 4 rounds, the BLU team will capture a point: the tunnel, the warehouse, the catwalk, the overshack, and finally, after 20 rounds, the crater. Once the bomb falls into that crater, the entire base will explode in a massive hellstorm, KO-ing any Pokemon and ending the battle instantly.

    Let's try and wrap things up before that point, hm?

    I'll be waiting.

    OK. I can do that. Ref decides who goes first apparently. I don't mind either way.

    I'll use Smack, my female Kangaskhan. Ability: Early Bird

    Body Slam ~ Crunch ~ Aqua Tail
    Sub: If he tries anything that would be stopped by Safeguard, and you aren't already Safeguarded, Safeguard.

    Use Telekinesis to lift her off the ground and fling her into a wall or steel pillar with her own Body Slamming momentum. Then use Flash to blind her and make a quick getaway before she can Crunch you. Finally, let her try an Aqua Tail: You keep moving and make her work for it, and then when she's done, settle down and use your own Safeguard.

    ===Round 1===

    Wow. Back and badlander. DL here and I'm a mite nervous right now. Though the plexiglass we stand on is nigh impregnable, the rebel forces running heading toward us still unnerves me. Hope the RED team can hold them off.

    Blade seems calm enough, they must be his commie friends. Hoohooers whirls over, also ready to battle, never minding the scuffling feet and rogue fire from assorted folks in red. Chaos slides down the final embankment here and releases Smash, who stamps on her support. Sturdy. That's good, as she bounds once, before charging her smaller foe. Hoohooers stays completely still even as Smack lurches bodily over it.

    All of a sudden, Smack goes flying over Hoohooers, Over Blade and into the cement wall. Ow. Misdirection at its finest.

    Ho: -4E ~~ Sm: -6E/-6H

    Smack recovers, and whips her tail back and forth, but is caught by a rogue blast of light from the small fighter. She grunts and lunges for a few quick bites. Hoohooers whirls backwards each time, as Smack is reduced to walking on all fours, Crunching blindly.

    Ho: -2E ~~ Sm: -7E

    This guy was going for annoying. Ok. She cleared her bleary eyes some, and looked at the tan object over to her left. Confidently, her path walks right beside "Hoo", as she slammed her tail onto it. It crunpled into pieces.

    There goes my chair -.- Hoo wobbled and quietly erected its own protective veil. No shenanigans here, just good ol' fashioned ass whippery.

    ===Round 2===

    Hoo seemed undisturbed, even though I swear there's gunfire headed right for us! It spins absentmindedly, bumping into the wall a few times. The incessant whirling throws stone chips everywhere, but Smack takes some of those chips. Giving them to her baby, Smack watches as the baby turns them into a doll all their own. Playfully, it throws the Substitute out on the field, mama patting it on the head.

    Ho: -4E ~~ Sm: -7E/-10H Sub: 10

    Hoohoo looks back to the not so blind Kanga anymore, and decides that maybe now, rocking its world would be grand. Spinning over, the Baltoy careens headfirst into the Substitute, blowing it to smithereens. Baltoy though, lands on its head, confused. That was not big or tough at all. The heck did it hit?

    Didn't matter. Smack was all over Hoo with a strange sttack. Water from around the cave system cycled up and around the desert adapted Pokemon. Yeah, that stung a little bit!

    Ho: -6E/-4H Trp~~ Sm: -4E Sub: 1H

    Hoohoo threw a fit. Why was Smack moving around! Trying this again, the Baltoy launched a hefty series of rocks down, to try and smush the Kangaskhan. But all they did was littler this little piece of a Sub that was left dangling around.

    Smach laughed and knelt down to get her aim right. Her eyes no longer bleary, Hoohooers found itself slammed against the wall by a thick beam of ice. Not to mention stupid Whirlpool (-2)

    OK... So, it's trapped in the whirlpool. Was kinda hoping to freeze the whirlpool, but meh.

    Water Pulse ~ Ice Beam ~ Shadow Ball

    Sub: If he tries flashing or double teaming, close your eyes and Aerial Ace. (In the case of double team, you don't need to close your eyes, but you do need to let him d.team before you hit him)

    Memo to self: Next time I fight in a DESERT, ban water-heavy moves. This place is bone-dry in TF2...

    Never mind that, Hoohooros. Find a RED team member and use Ally Switch on him. Let's see how Kanga AND her stupid Whirlpool like the old bait-and-switch.

    Then use Psychic to force Smack's mouth/hands (whatever she shoots Ice Beams from) shut so she freezes herself.

    Finally, use Dig to avoid that Shadow Ball.

    ===Round 3===

    Hrm. BLU must be making a move, cause some RED's are running around us to make sure that the place we're fighting on is not being tampered with in any way. Hoo seems glad for their arrival, and whirls over to one. The man looks strangely confused, even with Smack tossing MORE water atop of it.

    Disparaged from all this random water, Hoo manages to grab the guy and jump off of his body, leaving the Whirlpool behind and the man quite possibly to drown in a foot of water -.-.

    Ho: -4E/-10H ~~ Sm: -4E

    Glad for that moment of easy aim, Smack goes for a second wild pitch. She aims and then finds her hands pointing back to herself? At that point it was too late, and the Beam rockets into herself, causing her a sharp chilling pain. The baby tucked itself in, protected from the close range freezing blast.

    Ho: -8E ~~ Sm: -8E/-10H

    Hoohoo rocks back and forth, slightly taunting Smack as she recovers. Smack gives a pissed off mama roar, but the Baltoy spins faster and faster and then goes underground. Smack hisses, pissed off that her target won't resurface.

    Ho: -3E ~~ Sm:

    The poor RED guy is still trying to swim out that pool of water. Dude just walk out?

    Darkly are you fucking with me? Or do you simply not get how TF2/Badwater/this arena works?

    First off, the glass doesn't cover the entirety of the RED base at ground level. A quick look at any TF2 video, including the one I linked a few posts into this thread, will show you that the explosive housing crater is very small compared to the rest of the surrounding area.

    And second, that random RED guy in the Whirlpool? He should be attacking, not just flailing around doing nothing. I said not to pester the mercenaries or they'd attack. I'm pretty sure randomly being teleported into a WHIRLPOOL counts as 'pestering.'

    o.O
    ::C&P's his rebuttal:; Jus' going by what you told me man.

    --This cratered area is where the battle will take place. It is a good 40 feet wide and long at the least. The crater is covered with a glassy material that no attack can break. The explosives within cannot be Dug or Teleported into, Psychically manipulated, or otherwised interfered with.--

    The Cratered area is pretty big, so I thought the RED base was REALLY large-which is why it would take 20 rounds for them to reach it.

    Yeah I saw the video, but all of those areas are not where you said the battle started from. I saw dudes running through tunnels and standing on scaffolds and jumping down cliffs and what not, but you specifically said the cratered area.

    So, just tell me where I'm wrong in my interpretation and I'll fix it

    EDIT: Saw new video. See I didn't know that the Crater itself was that effing tiny >_>. K fine, I'll edit....

    Oh and about Dude, I didn't forget. Ima let him get out the Whirlpool before he fux shiz up.

    Appreciated.

    Now, Hoohooros, we have a few options to take.

    Let's play chaos' way.

    Throw Smack into that RED swimmer with Psychic. Then start a Sandstorm. Finally use Dig again and burst out from under her.

    If she tries to force you out of the ground by shaking it or flooding the tunnel, Dig before she can and push moves back.

    If she tries to use a status move like Toxic, use Magic Coat and push moves back.

    And if she tries getting Physical on you, give her some more Telekinetic tastes of her own medicine and push moves back.

    OK... So, to begin with, he's gonna throw you at the Swimmer. Start biding before that happens and take it. Then, he's gonna do something about a sandstorm, and we're not gonna care. Finally, he's gonna hit you with dig, and once he's up, he's gonna get the bide energy released on him.

    ===Stipulations===

    ===Battlers===

    ===Round 4===

    There's a LOT of commotion, and I'm seeing more and more RED people running over and through here. The Swimmer over there finally realizes the Whirlpool can't kill him and stands up. He looks pissed, but only sees one target to take his rage out on.

    Smack notices the Whirlpool dying out, and buckles herself down. Great timing. A invisible force reaches out from underground to throw her haphazardly toward the RED gunman, who takes aim and shoots Smack as if she's a pull disc in long range shooting! Taking the hit was much more painful than Smack would have liked.

    Ho: -7E ~~ Sm: -4E/-12H

    Hoo-still underground, drills around a bit, waiting. Nothing. So, whirling in place, it forces the ground to start trembling. The problem. The ground 's sands begin to whip up, but they start from one area. Smack notes this and has an idea where the Batloy might be. That area gets wiped clean though as the Sandstorm blasts into high gear, The engineer flees and Smack deals with the storm a bit. (-1)

    Ho: -4E ~~ Sm: -4E
    SS: 3 rds

    Hoohooters now takes the opportunity to resurface, raging under Smack and taking her down! Smack rolls from being tripped up but knows that Hoo is directly beneath him, and blasts a huge wave of energy onto it. Hoo is hammered into his own tunnel, stuck like a wedge. (-1)

    Ho: -3E/-24H ~~ Sm: -4E/-6H

    Few more RED guys are running about, screaming something about the BLU'S reaching Access point 1. Hoo looks dazed, and its Safeguard falters.

    ===Round 5===

    Seeing as we're not one 4th of the way out of time, I would think things to get a little hectic, and they are. Once in a BLU moon, there will be a Blu carcass flying around. Kinda weird. but Smack doesn't care. SHe's rejoicing with all this red and blu around her. SO much, that she now brings in foreboding clouds.

    Hoot doesn't approve, and fires off a Psybeam that partially refracts due to the raindrops reflective surfaces.. Most of it hits though, sitting Smack on her rear.

    Ho: -6E ~~ Sm: -4E/-7H
    Rain: 9 act.

    With the sands gone, Hoot lost his edge in this match. Irritated, Hoot spins in place as Smack fires off a Pulse of water, that's greatly enhanced by the rain. The rings of water are jumped through by the Baltoy and twisted around so they fly back toward their maker!

    The powerful blast struck and battered Smack again, but Baltoy felt a bit winded, that attacks' boosted power made it harder to control.

    Whoa red guys are sliding off of the ramp.

    Ho: -9E ~~ Sm: -4E/-7H

    Hoot waits, as Smack tries this again. She holds her head and fires a second wave. Again, with extra oomph Blatoy whips the rings around like hula hoops before flinging them back. They strike Smack and this time, they leave her dazed.

    Sandstorm, Rock Polish, Cosmic Power.

    If she tries any super-effective moves, use Telekinesis or Psysling to turn them on her, depending on if they're Physical or Special. Push everything else back.

    If she uses Shadow Ball, blind her with Flash and push everything back instead.

    And if she uses anything Magic Coat works on, use Magic Coat.

    Quite comprehensive. I'm gonna go triggering his subs like crazy. Coz, well, I am .

    Wait for him to make it sandstorm-y, then make it sunny with Sunny Day. Then, shoot a Water Gun at him. He'll fling it back, but you'll barely notice it. In fact, do it again. That should use up all his remaining energy

    Hoot whizzes around, as Smack tries to get her bearings straight. With the Kangashan confused, Hoot easily constructs a Sandstorm that pisses off the RED team in the nearby vicinity, now BLU has a chance to move in without being detected! (-1)

    This seemed too easy, but Smack was not so easily defeated. Regaining control for a moment, Smack fired a Water Gun within the Sandstorm. I'm guessing the psyflings super-powered the waterguns?

    In any case, if he relaxes on the first round, combo shadow ball + shadow ball. If energy allows, make it shadow ball + shadow ball + shadow ball.

    If he taunts on the first round, shadow ball ~ shadow ball ~ shadow ball.

    If he does anything else on the first round, relax ~ sunny day ~ solarbeam. If it isn't sunny on round 3, use sunny day again.

    Let's finish this.

    Use Flash, since it costs the least EN of any of your attacks so far. Then, Relax and gain back as much power as you can. Take the Solarbeam if you have to: You can survive it, and she might miss, anyway.

    Then, take her down with your Explosion.

    Hoo scans the sands looking for the beast of burden, and spies her siting till, near the crater. A few Red members run past, shooting at sometime in the distance.(-1) Pleased, it twirls over and creates a blinding light that catches Smack off guard. WAS THAT really necessary?

    Ho: -2E ~~ Sm: +6E -Acc

    Hoo dashes away, a cyclone within a cyclone, and Smack stands up. This sand was aggravating and she bellows intensely. With nothng more than her waving her hands and yelling, the sun comes out? The resulting tick on Smack's leg forced her to look down, but she barely saw anything but white, as a small Explosion caught her off guard. Barely three waves of energy took Smack down, but it was a close one.
