At first glance, you may wonder what's with this topic title. Shouldn't Mikachu Yukitatsu like Naruto? I mean, Blademaster doesn't watch it and Asilynne doesn't watch it, but Mikachu has indicated he has a positive attitude towards Masashi Kishimoto's 'masterpiece'. Indeed, Naruto has many fans in Finland, especially in Haapavesi-Nivala-Ylivieska sector, and Mikachu has lived in both Haapavesi and Ylivieska.
But let's get to the point. Mikachu Yukitatsu totally enjoyed Naruto and his mates' adventures from volume 1 to volume 49, and all the eppies he had seen. Mikachu blindly worshipped Naruto until today, when he realized some Finnish 'fans' have made a stupid AMV.
Mikachu has to admit that he's made some odd AMVs himself too, but this video in question has like 400 comments that praise it's like the best video ever while in Mikachu's opinion it's a bloody disgrace.
What's more, he found a site called http://www.mammikunniaan.net46.net/index.html where many of his favourite animes have been stained with a poor Finnish sense of humour. They call Naruto 'Nortikka' and also, yes, this here site is the original reason why I dislike One Piece. I didn't know about the site back there, but a friend of mine showed me some of their clips in Youtube and I'm about to throw up every time I see Monkey D. Luffy. If I had begun to read the manga before I watched the video, I'd perhaps ended up liking it, but not on the other way around I think.
So this is thread where we throw some shit around and tell reasons why to hate animes we love so much.

He has a good point.
Me or him?
Stop going to the site and stop watching videos that you know you'll hate
Unless someone else wants to talk about anime shows they don't like (with actual constructive reasons), I'm going to close this. I'll give it a week

The Pokemon anime for me. At first it was awesome and I couldn't wait for the new seasons every time a new generation of Pokemon came along. Then everything started to get repetitive, Ash seemed to forget some of the Pokemon he left behind, Pikachu started mowing down Pokemon he shouldn't have been able to in the games...and then there was the trainer that seemed to have been created just to make sure Ash didn't win the Sinnoh League. I think that was the last straw.

For me, anime just takes too long, takes a while to find, and you have to deal with companies shutting it down sometimes. Also, manga is more up to date, so that is just what I do. I switched after watching the first 200 episodes of Naruto cause it took me 4 weekends straight.
Thanks for this, T_M_L. The title of this thread would have read 'What animes you don't like?' but I wanted to be a little more 'creative'. So, classy_cat18 and Dyrk already did this, and I would be curious to see some other users discussing animes they don't like for a change.
As far as I'm concerned, I said I can't stand One Piece. Also, I have had some mixed emotions towards Full Metal Alchemist. The anime fans here in Finland were praising it so much that when it finally came out, I was disappointed. I just couldn't get why it was so special and popular. The first Opening song Melissa was so plain although I liked the lyrics. However, fortunately, I gave the anime a second try years later, and bought a DVD box of the first episodes. I actually ended up liking them more.
I haven't always liked Pokemon, surprisingly. I did get hooked by the show relatively quickly when it came out here in Finland, but I did have a strange phase where I saw only Sailor Moon and any other anime was pathetic. I even was on a hiatus from TPM because I didn't like Pokemon in late 2002. I was about to have a new crush in High School, and the romantic attitude I learned from watching Sailor Moon was the big thing right back there. I regained my interest in Pokemon in early 2003 when my internet life began to look duller without TPM.
I also enjoy Dragonball manga (we have the whole series under that title) a lot more than the anime. Perhaps I should give Dragonball Kai a shot.
Speaking of DBZ....
You don't care about my interests but I do care about yours, Blade, so I would like to hear what animes you don't like. And why.
And here I thought it was because (Spoiler:) Starrk was killed off so easily.

Screw you Evangelion, its was okay at the beginning and then it turned into some retarded mind rape followed by the story of a emo kid.
OK, obligatory bitching: Inuyasha.
WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST FUCKING END IT INSTEAD OF DRAGGING IT OUT UNTIL THE ANIMATION BUDGET WENT DRY?! WE DON'T NEED DEMON PUPPET LOLFAKENARAKU FIGHTS AND KIKYO-INUYASHA-KAGOME LOVE TRIANGLE MELODRAMA THAT MANY TIMES!
WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST GET ON WITH IT?!!!?!
The manga ended, then they did The Final Act or whatever it was called to give the anime an end.

Lemme guess: The Final Act was a rushed hackneye job that barely followed the manga at all.
Wouldn't know. I watched a few episodes, but I don't read the manga. But from what I read on Wikipedia, the events I did see matched the manga.
...Wait, what were you doing watching/reading Inuyasha? That doesn't fit my image of you.

I watched it religiously when I was younger. I'd stay up with the lights off and the volume cranked super low so I could catch it on Adult Swim after bedtime.
Deal with it.
I used to do the same, after it stopped here int he US, I used to watch the anime subbed. After the end (which pissed me off to no end), I stopped watching it and I never watched the other anime.
Now that they brought it up, I might watch the end but bleh, Inuyasha's left me as disillusioned with it as Bleach.
Naruto is not worth your time, Mikachu. Out of Jump's trinity, only One Piece is worth catching up these days. The manga has been draggy these days and irrelevant characters have been popping out these days like that old creep, Danzo. Everyone wants to watch another Naruto versus Sasuke fight to the death duel. But no, the mangaka decides to extend the story of the side characters. I was even pissed off at the anime. With all those fillers, I gave the series up a hell long time ago. >.>; Do private message me once this meaningless ninja war arc is over.
Yeah, Konoha politics are really interesting. The new Mizukage is my bitch. She's the first really 'attractive' Naruto character ever for me.
I have all Naruto manga albums up to number 50 in English, but haven't read the last volume yet. You see, I started again from the beginning a while ago for some research and I'm in volume 40, where Itachi and Sasuke meet once again.
I could say I collect mainstream manga, I also have the whole Dragonball series in Finnish. And Death Note. Umm.
