The sphere makes some moves impossible, such as Dive, Dig and Earthquake. Fish based pokemon, like Gorebyss, can swim easily through 0 gravity like water.

Rules: Double Team and Toxic cannot be used, and rest can only be used once per match. (This is subject to change)

ROUND 1
We stand before us in a virtual sphere of craziness I'd like to call "Gravity Being a Dick". The gym leader, Dogfish, wildly smirks as he releases his pokémon, Anemone into the sphere. Chaos is the challenger, and he is hungry for gym badges -- having earned one of the six already. He releases an ambipom named Goku. The two pokémon eye one another carefully before planning out their attacks.

Goku starts first, hurling out a large grass seed that connects with Mone, exploding on impact for great damage [ -16HP Anemone / -6PP Goku ]. Mone takes the hit in stride, however, and then plants an idea in his head using unseen mental powers [ +Amn -- Seed Bomb Goku / -6PP Anemone ].

Goku, perhaps not realizing what went on, attempts to throw out another seed bomb, but is surprised to learn that he doesn't even know the attack! The intricacies of what just happened have escaped him, and before he can mull it over too much, he is struck by a wild bolt of earth energy [ -6HP Goku / -3PP Anemone ].

Goku sighs, having lost the first round so easily [ +6PP Goku ] right as another bolt of earth power crashes into his torso [ -6HP Goku / -3PP Anemone ].

As the first round comes to a close, a sphere of fire enters the fray. Quite mysterious.

ROUND 2
Very eager to continue battling, Mone fires off a collection of stored energy that shoots through the fire orb, collecting its energy as it goes. The beam collides harshly with Goku [ -7HP Goku / -5PP, @HP: Fire Anemone ]. Goku doesn't let it both him too much, though, and he snaps his fingers, releasing a weakened bit of electricity to paralyze his foe [ +25% Par Anemone / -5PP Goku ].

Goku closes his eyes for a moment as he begins to plot something that inexplicably raises his elemental attack prowess [ +20% SpA, -5PP Goku ], while Mone hits him with an ice beam [ -9HP Goku / -7PP Anemone ].

With his powers heightened, Goku opens his eyes and quickly fires off a powerful thunderbolt that rains down upon Mone, freezing her in place [ -16HP Anemone / -7PP Goku ]. Mone's body refuses to move at this moment.

The next round finishes, and a sphere of ice randomly appears.

ROUND 3
Anemone, despite her eagerness to fight, waits for Goku to make his move. The monkey, annoyed by his opponent's patience, decides to goad her into attacking! He gives her the pokémon equivalent of the middle finger [ -2PP Goku ], forcing Anemone to take action. She fires off an ice beam made even more powerful by the ice orb in the center of the arena. The blade of ice slams into Goku's torso [ -14HP Goku / -7PP Anemone ]; he's already regretting making her angry.

Goku pulls himself back together and snaps his fingers, sending a shock wave of energy right at the water pokémon [ -11HP Anemone / -4PP Goku ]. Mone wants to respond, but her body locks up, making her completely unable to do so.

Goku snaps his fingers once more, creating a thunderbolt. The bolt of lightning hurdles towards Mone in a zig-zag pattern before finally striking her [ -16HP Anemone / -7PP Goku ] powerfully. Mone, finally able to move, fights back with a swift beam of rock energy that manages to snap Goku off his feet [ -7HP Goku / -4PP Anemone ].

Another sphere appears, this time infused with an ancient, draconian energy.

Why is there no sphere of energy?
And why wasn't Taunt used moves 2 and 3? I can understand Taunt making Anenome not wait, but in my instructions I specifically said to wait on all 3 actions (toinherently trigger 3 taunts).

The lack of sphere was a flub on my part. I'll fix that.

As for waiting -- Taunt makes it so you're so angry that you don't follow orders and instead attack directly. Being patient while you're that angry just isn't feasible.

ROUND 4
Feeling completely unoriginal, the for-armed monkey snaps his tail fingers once more, creating another torrent of sparking electricity to rain down upon Anemone [ -16HP Anemone / -7PP Goku ]. Mone accepts the hit before retalliating with a furious wind that freezes over Goku, encasing him in ice [ -12HP, +100% Frz Goku / -10PP Anemone ] -- he's frozen solid!

Having a contigency plan for such an occasion, Goku sets his paws ablaze, melting the icy prison that envelopes him -- just in time to be struck with Mone's second ice attack [ -9HP, -100% Frz, -5PP Goku / -7PP Anemone ]. The ice doesn't stick this time around.

Unsatisfied with the cheap shot his opponent got, Goku lets fly another rogue bolt of electricity, striking Mone once more [ -16HP Anemone / -7PP Goku ]; the spongey fish reacts with an orb of water that crashes against his torso [ -6HP Goku / -3PP Anemone ].

The dragon-element fades away, replaced with something more mental.

ROUND 5
The chimp readies himself for another thunderbolt, but eases up when he sees what the corsola is preparing. Fearing the worst, Goku erects a protective shield that keeps him safe from... Mone's own protective shields [ -5PP Goku / -10PP Anemone / Light Screen activated ].

Now annoyed, Goku snaps his tail-fingers again, striking Mone down with one last thunderbolt [ -8HP Anemone / -7PP Goku ]... only, she's not down! The light screen flickers for a few seconds before steadying -- having absorbed half the damage from Goku's thunderbolt, Mone has just enough energy for one last attack, and it's going to be a doozy.

Goku frets and panics, trying to get off another thunderbolt in time, but it's not enough! The corsola lets out a powerful surge of energy, causing heavy damage to Goku and completely eliminating Mone [ -21HP Goku / -1HP, -40PP Anemone ].

I know some refs do this differently from case to case, but Corsola isn't faster than Ambipom. Dunno if that counts for anything for grey. I personally never liked it.

Assuming it doesn't matter... Aipom learnt Brick Break, so Ambipom should still have it.

Speed has an effect, yes, but only to a certain extent. Self-targeting attacks can generally be done faster than attacks that target others, because you don't hafta worry about aiming. Explosion and Self-Destruct follow the same logic, because all you're really doing is hitting the button and going kaboom.

ROUND 6
Anemone is recalled and replaced with a fresh, new pokémon: an upgraded porygon named Data. The electronic duck begins chirping loudly in preparation for its initial attack, but Goku is faster to the draw. The ambipom's fist crashes into the light screen, shattering it upon contact, and then into Data's shell [ -11HP Data / -5PP Goku ]. Data lofts back before firing off a powerful beam of elements -- fire, lightning, and ice. The torrent of elements slams into Goku, ending his tenure in the match [ -3HP Goku / -5PP Data ].

The mental sphere vanishes. A darker one appears in its stead.

ROUND 8
Fresh out of the gate, Tyrant begins his first round by creating a replica that mimics his entire body [ -15HP, -5PP Tyrant / +15HP Spiriclone ]. Not caring either way, Data charges up its special abilities [ +20% SpA, -5PP Data ].

Data then immediately fries the clone with a powerful thunderbolt, but it's not enough to completely destroy it [ -11HP Spiriclone / -7PP Data ]. Tyrant, meanwhile, fires a dark pulse that soars through the dark sphere, absorbing its energy, and striking Data with it [ -12HP Data / -5PP Tyrant ].

Data lets loose another electric attack [ -4HP Spiriclone / -5PP Data ], destroying the double just as the real Tyrant fires off another dark pulse [ -8HP Data / -5PP Tyrant ].

Another sphere appears in the vortex, with nothing particularly special about it...

Tyrant matches Data's elemental prowess [ +20% SpA, -5PP Tyrant ] just as the corrupted porygon fires off a powerful pulse of electricity [ -7HP Tyrant / -3PP, +10% SpA Data ].

Data, using its newfound strength, unleashes a powerful ice beam that stabs the ghost pokémon easily [ -12HP Tyrant / -7PP Data ]. Tyrant, meanwhile, absorbs the hit and uses the cold energy to fashion a water pulse that strikes Data's body [ -8HP Data / -4PP Tyrant ].

This time, Data strikes with a thunderbolt [ -12HP Tyrant / -7PP Data ]! as Tyrant strikes with one more water pulse [ -8HP Data / -4PP Tyrant ].
