The ocean is far away now, as you note that types of plants growing are getting greener and leafier. Must be leaving the desert for more promising fields.

You and Falcon reach at the end of the desert, and note there are mountains coming ahead. North looks cold, and south also looks warm, but one can never be too sure. A Sandile heads toward the dry air, obviously having taken a wrong turn somewhere.

There is also a low, but menacing groan. You turn, and see a shaggier Ursaring, slapping at the ground.

You both decide that heading in is your best bet. Taking the left path is frowned upon so right it is. You both ease your way into the volcano and make it to the first set of tunnels, Bronco already uncomfortable. Too many fire types here.

Digit begins freaking out through and refuses to move for a bit. You both don't understand why, until you see the flaming rocks coming for you. You can dive right or left!

You eagerly dash for the tunnel you entered from, sliding across sharp pieces of stone. Your Pokemon follow and you note a Typholsion looking at you as you pass by.

You stop at the edge of the cavern wall, facing into the cauldron, which has begun to bubble violently. Tremors can be felt all through the volcano, and all the Pokemon are heading northward. A Magcargo calmly slithers upwards past you three and you see a Flareon hop across a few rocks and barely make it to the other side of the volcano.

You keep flying, now heading back toward the sea. Maybe if you fly out over this direction, you'll get to an area you'd recognize. As you fly, you notice that the Bird Pokemon around here are all smaller sorts. Staravia and Pidgey flocks are lower...and there are some Tranquil as well.
The cloud cover isn't bad, except for over one small island that you would prolly reach soon.

As for the volcanic isles..well...you think you see dark smoke in the distance.

The dark clouds catch your interest, and Falconzord augments his path to go in toward them. As you get closer, you notice that the clouds aren't the ashy type that come from a volcano, but instead are a dense lightning storm.

You spy a Drifblim float away from the area, as Falcon dips in altitude in order to fly low. He stops though, as a Thunder strikes from the clouds, and slams into the ocean. This storm center is HUGE, and there are a few islands under it.

You sigh, glad to have avoided that, and turn around, only to run into something. Jacen steels himself as you look up. You're right in front of a large tomb, and sitting on the stairs is a Alakazam. It eyes you, and then seems to create a mental link with you, scanning your mind for what you might be doing here.

Hydro stomps over to the mass of rocks and tries to slam into them, but the rocks are still steaming hot. He almost burns himself just by touching them, That's a no go. Great.

Papa:
You and Luna take the lead, Luna leading you down a corridor. Hydro takes a deep breath to deal with the hot dry air. You come face to face with a Quilava.

C-Dub:
You run down, sensing that the Rock Smash was not strong enough. You and Digit head down this path...and then you fall! Digit zips after you, catching you before lone. You both float there, looking down at the massive obsidian shard laden chasm made by rising magma hundreds of years ago. Digit finds a ledge lower down and sets you on it.

Immediatly, you see a Monferno bolt! Guess you startled it.

Hellz no! You give chase and note the Typholsion really starts to try and lose you. Disregarding tunnel hierarchy and logic, you jump and slide after this badger, finally ending up in a LARGE room. Your Pokemon Tsu and Jacen burst in and Tus heads up, flying up this massive chasm to cut the badger off, if it tried to climb the wall.

It didn't. Rather, it stood there, frill flaring as it panted. You take a minute and look up.

Weird. There's no light or no rumbling here.

And there's an injured Ariados lying here! The Typholsion then kicks it, and sneers at you. The heck?

You end up on a small beach, with a slight piece of green grass leading to the islands interior. Up above, the storm rages, and rain starts to fall. Looks like flying out might be a problem. Lighting strikes all over.

The Typholsion flares up as you issue orders Jacen relaxes his blades, and Tsu floats down. The Typholsion reaches for the dragon, only to be beaten back by a flurry of punches and tail strieks. However the Typholsion is a powerful beast to contend with, flaring up and charging the dragon. He manages to tackle the beast and cover its scales in fire. Tsu groans, and pushes the badger away with a watery blast. Well that was the plan. The Typholsion fires a blast of Fire so large it engulfs the water and hits Tsu. The dragon holds out, but he suffers a Burn.

Tsu smirks, as the Typholsion watches with wary eyes. Those eyes start to droop. Then the fall, and Typholsion stays asleep. Tsu looks over and nods to Jacen whom nods back, as he lowers his left hand.

The Spider slinks over toward you, you can tell its had a hard day today.

Digit looks at the pair and at Hydro. Luna seems to be sniffing something, but with C-Dub's idea to go back, Digit floats close by. Everyone holds hands, and Papa realizes Luna is not near them.

In a flash, you all reappear in the webby tunnel. Footsteps can be heard down the hallway, and animal screeches are not to far off. Luna however, dove into the Teleporting bubble at the last second, lucky her.

Not one to waste time, you command Tsu to whip the Typholsion while its down. Two swishing strikes of water weaken the beast severely, and Tsu watches as the slumbering beast..stays down. Jacen is quick to dash in, and deliver a vengeful strike all his own, clipping his left side. The Typholsion opensone eye from that hit, and starts to rise.

Fearing that you might be in a heated battle if this carries on, you fling your nearest Ultra Ball. It connects with his rising back.

The sphere vanished, confirming your catch! The spider watches you carefully, all the while looking up.

Yay. A dirt road it is. As the storm rages above you with no sign of ending, you and Falcon march on. The road leads you up and around a bend, the rock formation changing to a softer grey here. Shrubs grow here, next to these porous rock.

You have a better view of this island interior now, and it seems to be a series of outcroppings. There are a bunch of small caves, and evidence of organisms living here-as there are bones littering in front of some of these places.

You run over to a smoldering spot, and see a familiar sight. A bunch of ice crystals forming an angry looking face. You stand back up, seeing that Cryogonal will be ok. Another smoldering spot however, yields another shard, but no Cryogonal. A third smoldering spot yields a series of icicles sticking straight up, and a steady spout of steam...in regular intervals.

There's also that weird growl that is coming from the oddly warm patch of snow.

You all take the time to walk forward, as steam starts to ebb from the nearby rock formations. Luna takes point, with C-Dub and Papa in the middle. The path leads to an area where there are two more paths to take. The webbing however, goes down the middle, where there is a hole.

Digit and Hydro fan out and you note that above, there's a bunch of Zubats roosting above.
