Time for a veteran fighter to return to the field! After a pleasant vacation inside of his Pokeball, Aikoku continues battling at long last. Fortunately, that little Magnefuck is no longer on the field, though this Lapras certainly isn’t going to go down without a fight. Aikoku kicks things off by chirping up toward the heavens, which causes the pesky Hail to stop falling after an eternity. Instead, bright, happy sunlight once more coats the field. Squinting against the harsh glare, Aquamarine assaults her birdie foe with a red-green dual beam. However, the typing does not appear to be in Aquamarine’s favour and the move does very little damage.
Aquamarine: <-6 EP>
Aikoku: <-4 HP; -4 EP>
Irked that the Bug-type move did so little, Aquamarine decides to switch things up by commanding a Blizzard to ravage the field and her foe. Aikoku spreads those little Rufflet wings and tries to ascend out of the Blizzard’s path; however, the storm’s scope is far too wide for the birdie to successfully steer clear and the Eaglet Pokemon quickly finds himself trapped. The cold chills the poor little birdie to the bone, but once the storm clears he retaliates by tackling a collection of boulders that rest not that far above our heads. The rocks come tumbling down and land upon Aquamarine. The Sheer Force of the attack wounds the Lapras severely.
Aquamarine: <-14 HP; -10 EP>
Aikoku: <-20 HP; -6 EP>
At this rate, how much more can Aquamarine take? The poor Lapras is already wheezing quite heavily there upon her rock and the harsh sunlight certainly doesn’t seem to be helping anything. She watches as Aikoku finds another collection of boulders overhead to tackle. In a panic, Aquamarine tries to stop Aikoku with a Signal Beam, but the birdie’s swift aerial movements allow him to dodge the attack… mostly. The beam still clips his tail feathers, but he’s more or less unscathed. One powerful tackle to the boulders and they tumble downward with a crash, landing mercilessly upon Aquamarine and taking her out of the battle.
Looks like Aikoku returned just in the nick of time to win himself a victory.
Aquamarine: <-3 HP; -6 EP>
Aikoku: <-2 HP; -6 EP>

And that's all she wrote! Good work to you both. In terms of narrative, this was one of the most compelling battles I've reffed. As the victor, Cynder takes home four points while DCM nabs two. I also receive four points. Woohoo.
Cheers!
