Luxio cringed as the final Pokemon on Oslo's team was revealed. A stone colored hulking brute of a chick was all he saw, but Lady Fisticuffs was a independent woman in her own right, as the sun's rays beamed down on her.

Luxio didn't really care, and fired off a Thunder. The superhyped blast however, fell short of its target, and Lady took that as a sign of aggression. She lunged forth, and slammed her hands into the ground. It quivered and shook and then rose in a fierce ripple, throwing Luxio aside like last weeks trash.

LF: -9E ~~ Lu: -9E/-13H

Her charge run down, all Lux could do was attack. She lowered the voltage, and fired, a Thunderbolt that struck home! Great. Lady backed up, her arms crossed to protect her chestcles. Peering from above her forearms, she was able to issue a Flamethrower! Luxio yelped as the heightened flames stung her skin.

LF: -8E/-9H ~~ Lu: -7E/-13H

Luxio kept the lightning as her offensive weapon, and this time the Thunder hit home, throwing Lady back a few yards. The space was desperately needed, but not easily maintained.

In the moments that followed, the arena underwent a second seismic event. Enough to give Luxio some sort of internal injury as she stayed close to the ground, holding onto it dearly.

Luxio steadied her fear of the shifting earth, and lunged at the fighter. Fisticuffs tried to fend her back, but the weird white blast that erupted from Luxio made her cough. There was something odd about it. It was...crippling yet empowering! But first it was crippling.

LF: -5H Par ~~ Lu: -5E

Feeling a surge of power, Fisticuffs burst free of her own paralysis and grabbed Luxio. But Luxio rammed Fisticuff in the chest, to try and knock her off balance. Not smart when someone is holding onto you. Fisticuff bent backwards and used Luxio as a chargepillow.

LF: -6E/-9H ~~ Lu: -7E/-19H

Luxio, crushed under the weight of the fighter, didn't have much resolve left. But the hand of Fisticuff was right there. Taking a chance, she turned her head barely and bit down on her hand. Fisticuffs rolled off of Luxio and held her hand in anger.

Her left foot just slammed the ground, forcing a smaller quake to take Luxio down.

The feline charges as best she can, and nips at the strongmon's left calf. This causes a spastic twitch in her leg, and she kneels to deal with the situation appropriately.

LF: -4H Par ~~ Lu: -2E

Stying underneath her, a second nip-to her right ankle-angers the musclemon. She heaves back up and throws her weight into a Rock Slide that strikes from the front. Fisticuffs is slammed by the attack, and Luxio hops onto her back to try and survive it. Doesn't really work that way when the person yer behind is crushed to the ground, that means you are too.
