Ayeun makes her next selection, summoning her Duskull back into the fray—except this time it’s not a Duskull at all, but rather a mighty Dusclops. Ooh. Ahh. Evolved. Before either battler can so much as twitch, Chaos and DL each throw a cream pie. (Chaos indirectly, though, as the cream pie he’s throwing is trapped within the stomach of a fellow heckler… whom Chaos is launching into the battle.) Nsmbwii scrambles out of the ring but the pies already make their effects known. Ice forms around Hiyru, freezing him from head to foot.

Now that Hiyru has been turned into a frigid little statuette, Spook is free to wreak a little havoc. Suddenly, a fierce storm of ice and snow blows into the tent, swirling around Hiyru. Though he’s already trapped in ice, the effects are devastating nonetheless as the storm saps his health away like there’s no tomorrow.

Spook keeps up the physical assault with an Ice Punch. She slams it against the Vibravacicle and it’s somehow clear that she can feel the reverberations all the way inside her icy prison.

Quick as can be, Spook zips in with a rapid physical blow to her frigid friend… who remains tragically frozen. Yikes. Those cream pies are brutal.

Still Frozen, Hiyru suffers from his Poison <-3 HP> and nearly faints because of it.

DCM returns his fallen Vibrava and instead goes for a Pokemon that is exactly six numbers higher in the National Pokedex. Out pops his fierce Zangoose who flexes his guns menacingly. Chaos then steps up to the plate with a delicious blueberry pie in hand. With flawless form, he tosses the pie right at Fenrus. It collides with a disgusting splat. Fenrus growls. You know what gets blueberry stains out of fur? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! He folds his arms in a huff.

Spook deviously concocts a plan that will screw over this big fugly mongoose for sure. Raising one of his forearms with menacing poise, she brings it slamming down against her opponent. Fenrus is quick to respond to the attack, throwing up his paws to parry the Rock Smash.

Inexplicably, his outstretched paws merely pass right through Spook’s immaterial body. However, there’s nothing immaterial about the Dusclops’s attack, which smokes Fenrus right in the snout. He cups his hands around his face and agony as Spook cackles.

Overjoyed with the way that last Rock Smash went, Spook decides to see if lightning will strike twice. He swings his arm in a club-like manner at Fenrus who throws up his arms to Counter the attack. Just like last time, he takes the blow to the face. Dude, keep that up and you’re going to need a bumload of orthodontic work. This time, the Zangoose can feel his Defence take a dip.

Rinse and repeat. Fenrus takes a third Rock Smash to the face and, sadly, there’s just nothing he seems to be able to do.

All hell breaks loose as no less than ten hecklers jump up to demonstrate their pie-throwing skills. Filling of the pumpkin, blueberry, apple, cream and custard varieties goes positively everywhere, especially poor Spook and Fenrus. In addition to a healthy dosage of pain, our battlers take home a couple commemorative statuses, too: Fenrus finds his joints stiffened with Paralysis while Spook receives a similar effect in addition to a nasty Burn.

Spook mutters and balls up one of his hands into a fist. Less than thrilled that his lead has entirely evaporated, the Dusclops swings that fist of his at Fenrus. The Zangoose feels his head snap back from the sheer force of that strike and, growling, decides a little Payback is required. Leaping forth as Dark energy consumes one of his fists, Fenrus gives a swing. Spook lets out a wail. Ahh, it burns, it burns!

Fenrus: <-8 HP; -8 EP>

Paralysis rears its ugly head at Spook as the Dusclops feels his entire body become unbearably rigid. Fenrus lashes out with another Dark-type strike, but the attack lacks a lot of the bite it had mere moments prior.

Suddenly, the Paralysis Demon decides to posses Fenrus briefly. The Zangoose finds himself struck entirely immobile and equally vulnerable as yet another Rock Smash smacks him in the face. That Defence stat of his takes another dip.

As the next round begins, Dogfish, Blade and Chaos remind us of many of the key rules of heckler battles. They then assault poor Spook and Fenrus with another bevy of tasty, tasty pies. The two Pokemon drop their heads in annoyance and, exhausted, don’t even bother cleaning themselves up afterward. Is there no escape from this delicious hell?

Spook closes her eyes and begins focusing all her energy into one mighty attack. Fenrus, meanwhile, has an opportunity to interrupt the attack. He doesn’t take it. Instead, the Zangoose merely watches as his foe musters up all the concentration she needs. As her single eye opens wide, Spook stomps across the field toward Fenrus.

No? Not gonna do anything even still? Your call.

The Focus Punch collides, knocking Fenrus out of the battle.

Two pies strike either battler, causing Spook to succumb to the delicious desserts. He’s knocked out. Looking over, one can clearly see Barricade succumbing in his own way.

The mighty Rhyperior has curled up and gone to sleep.
