    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Grave's Yard
A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

    ‡ Round 13 ‡

You keep debating the other Rotom and eventually win over the support of the room. The other Rotoms start agreeing with you with such enthusiasm that the Leader is forced to fire off a series of sparks into the air in order to bring about silence.

"This young Rotom makes a good point," the Leader says. "It is clear that we must--"

"I'm not done!" the funny-looking Rotom blurts out. "It's a terrible idea... lots of, um, really bad reasons... and so on... you know! It's just dumb!"

However, no one is really listening. The Rotom starts shaking with anger and, as he does, a couple of black tail feathers unexpectedly poke out from his bottom.

    Eh?

    How do you proceed?

We'll have to leave him for now - we don't want our own illusion to drop and lose their trust. At least our point was made with the murkrow though.

    AYEUN'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Platrin Plateau
A strange, mysterious temple set high in the sky. You can only enter the road to the temple by releasing the seal chanted by the ancients long ago. There are two shrines, one in Sunshine plains, and one in Grave's Yard. They are inconspicuous, the Grave's Yard shrine is a maouselum of sorts. Here, you will find exceptionally strong Pokemon in the various rooms and spaces of this ancient land set high in the sky. If you are lucky, you may stumble on a Legend or two?

Well, that certainly didn't seem to be very challenging. You effortlessly rhyme off the answer and the bookshelf opens up. In the next room, you see another jumble.

The Murkrow takes off before anybody can make a move.

"Let him go," the Leader says to the colony. "This further validates this young Rotom's concerns. Action must be taken to banish the threat of the Murkrows from Grave's Yard."

Suddenly, the Leader turns to you and smiles fondly.

"You have good instincts, kid. Reminds me of a young, well, me. Since you keenly picked up that the Murkrow threat had to be annihilated, how about you take point and lead us into battle against them? We've received word that they've decided to set up shop in the Sable Crypt right in the middle of Grave's Yard. Do you accept?"

We should take a stealthier approach and take them down from the inside. I just might know a certain Zoroark who'll be willing to help on the surface.

Yes, we can introduce him to you. If you just allow us to go up to the surface for a moment to find him, I'm sure we'll be able to ask for assistance. He's shy though, so we'd better go alone so that we can actually find him. Is that alright with you?

As you deliver your answer, the bookshelf slams open. Success!

You enter the next room and see a little bag on a podium this time. As you open it, out spills five tiny coloured tiles. A short message sits on the podium.

Place these tiles in the correct order.

You look at the tiles more closely. One appears to be made of a scarlet gemstone with flecks of blue gemstone, another is red with a blue border, another has a yin-yang pattern on it, another is solid diamond encasing what looks like pearl and, last but not least, yet another tile seems to be a silvery gold swirl. Bizarre.

All the Rotoms in the room ooh and ahh at your rare Zoroark as you reenter. Even the Leader seems spellbound, clearly never having seen a member of this species.

"This is excellent!" the Leader exclaims. "Well, deliver your plan, General. How many of us should enter the base? Should we have scouts stationed outside? What's the plan if we're revealed? Ahh, this is tremendously exciting! Why don't we Rotoms get involved in things more often?"

We don't want too many of us to enter the base at once, too conspicuous. Instead around 10 should enter to start off with, and more positioned on the outside. If possible whilst under disguise we earn their trust and find their motives, and attack when we see fit. If on the odd chance we're discovered, we can notify the rest of the rotom here at the base and attack at once. We should overwhelm them, and we all have a type advantage over them so with any luck it shouldn't be too difficult.

    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Grave's Yard
A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

    ‡ Round 21 ‡

Once Yami covers you in Illusion, you begin to make your way out of the Rotom hideout. However, as you pass again through the main chamber, you notice something you didn't before: a silvery Skarmory feather mounted on the wall. However, since you're already on your way out, you simply stroll on by it.

Shortly thereafter, you, your Pokemon, the Leader and five other Rotoms all hide beneath your Murkrow Illusions as you approach the enemy base. Several others take to the skies, keeping an eye out for danger.

You approach your destination, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. You hold your breath as you pass the Murkrow guards on your way in, but they don't even ruffle a feather. Phew. However, as you step into the dark, mildewed crypt, a Murkrow comes skittering up toward you and your party.

"It's midnight!" she barks. "You're only reporting in now? Jeepers! Listen, you lot, the Boss seems to be in a terrible mood tonight. I'm going to need three of you to tend to him and keep him happy. Then, the captives are getting restless, so I'm going to need three of you to help keep guard over them. Finally, we received some interesting intelligence not that long ago about the Rotoms in the Western Woods, so I want another three of you to report to the basement where a meeting is in progress to help devise a plan. Oh, and someone got sick on the roof, so one of you has to go up there and clean it up. Got it? Divide yourselves up however you want. Makes no difference to me."

Your party all looks to you to make a decision.

    How do you proceed?

    ‡ Round 141 ‡

You rearrange the tiles until you're almost certain you have them in the correct order. You pause. Suddenly, the bookshelf slides open. Success! You quickly proceed to the next room.

You enter what you believe to be an annex. Here, older, dustier shelves with more faded books line the walls. Peering upward, you see a bird cage far out of reach housing a Pidgeot wearing a headdress. Just below, you see an Alakazam lying down chained to a table. Her chains are glowing with bright pink energy, Imprisoning her.

Standing guard, a Golem and a Camerupt peer at one another emotionlessly. They have the same yellow eyes and same mysterious aura as all the others.

He manages to strike Bellossom with a quick Fire Blast before getting destroyed on the spot. Your Pokemon receive health boosts as a result.

Camerupt growls and uses Amnesia on Sketcher, completely eliminating his ability to Sketch anything, while assaulting Bellossom with two more Fire Blasts. She sustains a nasty Burn, which begins to sizzle.

You, Yami and Aikoku follow the bossy female Murkrow to the Boss's room and you allocate the others as you see fit. The Rotom on bucket duty gives you a frown before skulking off toward the roof.

The female Murkrow takes you to the Boss's room. There, you see what is performs the oldest, fattest, ugliest Honchkrow you've ever seen in your entire life lying on a bed of moth-eaten pillows. He wheezes, barely able to breathe what with all his extra blk, as he looks upon you.

"Finally!" he barks. "I've been waiting for attendants for ages. I need one of you to feed me some worms... just mush 'em up and place them on my tongue... and I need another one of you to rub my bunyons."

He raises one of his scaly, disgusting feet.

    "Hop to it!"

The female Murkrow snickers and takes off.
