Meanwhile, Aikoku starts rubbing Honchkrow's nasty feet with his wings. Poor guy. He shoots you a dirty look while you fan the big Boss.

After about ten minutes, a few Murkrows enter the room. One of them steps forward.

"Boss, we've just receive intelligence approximately half an hour ago about some goings on. Apparently the Rotom colony might lead an attack against us. We don't know--"

Suddenly, you hear shouts from some distant hallway.

"Intruders! Intruders in the crypt!"

Bellossom closes her eyes and falls asleep just as Camerupt wakes up. Sketcher, who was previously just too gosh darn worried about his ally to act, is now ready to strike. He unleashes a series of energetic Struggles at Camerupt, but the attack does very little, as expected.

Bellossom unleashes a series of Sleep Talks which result in Stun Spore, Flash and Razor Leaf! Camerupt strikes back with an Overheat at Bellossom. He also tries to use two Flamethrower, but he's partially blinded and the attack consequentially misses and strikes a wall. The second one never materializes as his full body locks up with Paralysis.

Ralts and the Compassion Maiden, who were up until now playing a riotous game of seven-card stud, decide to join the fray. Ralts unleashes a bevy of Psychic energy while the Compassion Maiden hurls three Egg Bombs.

With Golem and Camerupt out of the way, you let out a happy sigh. The Compassion Maiden works on healing your Pokemon while you see about freeing the Maidens. However, this task might prove tricky. The Sky Maiden is suspended from the ceiling in a cage way out of your reach while the Intelligence Maiden is lying on a table bound by chains made of shimmering pink energy. Judging by the fact that she slept through that whole battle, she seems to be in some kind of magically induced sleep.

Sketcher paints a series of stairs which you quickly ascend. You open the latch and the door to the bird cage opens.

"Thank God," the Sky Maiden says as she steps out, stretching her broad wings. "It was incredibly cramped in there!"

However, freeing the Intelligence Maiden is proving to be more difficult. Bellossom and Ralts seem unable to understand what these pink energy chains are.

"I believe they're keeping the Intelligence Maiden from using her powers to escape," the Sky Maiden theorizes as she examines them. "Hrm. You know, I believe these chains are a manipulation of the move Imprison. Another Psychic-type with either the same moveset as the Intelligence Maiden or a similar moveset must have put them in place to keep her from acting."

Suddenly, the Sky Maiden notices Ralts for the first time.

"Where have I met you before?" she asks. "I swear I've seen you before, long, long ago. Perhaps that was another Ralts?"

Ralts uses Imprison. The Sky Maiden peers at you skeptically, unsure about this tactic, but it seems to work. Ralts concentrates and the chains flicker out of existence, causing the Intelligence Maiden's eyes to open. Success! Everyone whoops and cheers as the Intelligence Maiden rises. You quickly fill her in on the details of everything that's happened so far.

"Yeah, I'm not sure where I've seen her before," the Sky Maiden says, returning to the subject of Ralts, "but she just seems vaguely familiar."

"Agreed," the Compassion Maiden says.

"Who seems familiar?" the Intelligence Maiden inquires.

Ralts raises her hand. The Intelligence Maiden blinks.

"You say that each of my fellow Maidens has claimed to recall seeing this Ralts before?" she asks. "My memory is far beyond the potential of the average mortal, and I am quite certain that I have never seen this Ralts before in the entirety of my life."

"Is she always like this?" she asks. Bellossom shakes her head.

The Intelligence Maiden stiffens, displeased to be addressed with such invective.

"I will give it a shot," she says coldly, pressing her spoons to her temples. She hums for a moment but stops. "It did not work. Someone has placed a barrier in and around the temple against certain Psychic abilities. Nobody could have done this but a Psychic-type. I'm sorry, but I don't know where your Pokemon went. The peculiar noise we heard sounded like a Teleport, but that could not happen with the barrier in place... unless someone lifted the barrier, used Teleport and then put it back again. I apologize, young one, but I can be of service to you no more."

The Murkrow won't be able to hear it though because of their immunity to psychic attacks.

"The most logical course of action from here would be to find the Supreme Maiden, no?" the Intelligence Maiden asks quietly.

"And I think we all know where she has to be," the Water Maiden adds. She turns to you. "When all the Maidens are gathered beneath the full moon, a ritual ceremony can then be performed to give the individual orchestrating the ritual incredible powers... some even say all the powers of Arceus himself. Of course, the idea of channeling such strength is sacrilege and, as such, we have never attempted the ceremony. Nonetheless, tonight is a full moon. They'll be keeping her on the temple rooftop beneath the moonlight so they can attempt the ritual if possible."

"Whoever is behind this is going to keep kidnapping us until either they're stopped or they perform the ritual," the Sky Maiden says tremulously.

"I bet that's what happened to your Pokemon," the Strength Maiden growls. "The kidnapper made a grab for a Maiden and accidentally ended up with your Pachirisu and Smeargle instead. The fool."

"She's right. You must go, then, alone," the Compassion Maiden says. "We have to stay here where we're safe. Keep taking any staircase you see. Eventually, you'll end up at the rooftop. Good luck, child, and may Arceus be watching over you."

Suddenly, mass calamity occurs. You don't know what tipped off the Murkrows but suddenly they start squawking and flapping around, except under the guise of various appliances. Honchkrow backs away and stares at you all in horror. He looks out into the hallway and sees even more Rotoms yet.

Yami sends out a message to your allies and you make a break for the entrance. However, Honchkrow doesn't seem to like this idea. Before you can leave his chamber, he fixes you, Yami and Aikoku under a perilous Mean Look. Suddenly, you lose the will to desert.

"Only a spy would scarper at a time like this," he growls. For a fat, disgusting Honchkrow, he looks positively terrifying right about now. "You're under Illusions, all of you, aren't you? Time to find out!"

Suddenly, he fires off three Dark Pulses. Two strike your Pokemon while the third hits you square in the gut. It knocks the wind out of you and you double over, momentarily paralyzed. You look over at Yami and Aikoku. You also peer down at your own hands.

The Illusions have been stripped.

With one Grass Knot and one Rock Tomb, you successfully hurt and hamper this big old Honchkrow. You calmly try to ask him why he and his cronies have invaded Grave's Yard.

"A ridiculous question," he spits. "Because we'll do whatever we bloody well please!"

Suddenly, he bursts free from your trappings and then... takes to the air? That big ol' thing is capable of flight? Who knew! With a few rapid aerial movements, he successfully evades one of the Rock Slides and one of the Flamethrowers, but he can't keep up his evasion for much longer. Yami and Aikoku redouble their efforts and the Honchkrow takes a hit from each of the attacks.

However, he's quick to hone in Aikoku's weakness and performs a series of Mirror Moves. Aikoku finds a barrage of rocks flying back at him, and man, do they hurt. Yami tries to summon Yurei and the others, but nothing happens. You suspect they must be busy with the calamity in the hallway.

You slap a big chipper smile onto your face and begin skipping jauntily out of the shrine alongside Bellossom and Ralts, whistling a merry melody as you go. You progress to the nearest staircase and ascend higher into the temple. Then, finding the next set of stairs, you continue your journey up to the rooftop. As has become typical of these long temple walks, it feels like it takes hours. This place needs a friggin' subway!

After approximately nine billion more staircases, you wind up at a set of double doors which you swing open. You breathe in your first gulp of fresh hair in what feels like years. Presently, clouds are obscuring the moon and it's extremely dark. The Supreme Maiden might be up here somewhere, but it's hard to tell.

You take a step forward and squint through the darkness. You see a figure standing in the middle of the open rooftop, expecting it to be a Dragonite. It's not.

It's a Nidoqueen. The Earth Maiden.

It's time to bring this big ugly crow down once and for all. He begins by targeting Yami with a series of Wing Attacks, but your Zoroark is too tough to be brought down by that. Yami starts off with a Taunt and follows with a crackling gout of flames and a swirling ball of shadows. Aikoku, on the other hand, delivers a series of powerful blows care of some hard-hitting falling boulders. Just as the last set of rocks materialize to bring Honchkrow down, he rolls out of their path. He looks to be severely battered and bruised.

"Please," he croaks. "Show mercy."

You greet the Earth Maiden, but she says nothing. Suddenly, a Garchomp with frightening yellow eyes and a dark aura appears beside her with a sudden poof. Instead of appearing frightened by this sudden materialization, the Earth Maiden stands beside it as though flanking an ally.

"You had to be expecting this," the Earth Maiden says coldly. "My accomplice will be here soon. Then we can begin the ritual. In the meantime, it's time for this drone to dispose of you."

The Garchomp peers at Bellossom and breathes a crackling Flamethrower all over her. She lets out a shriek and falls back. Whimpering, Ralts grabs your leg, too frightened to budge.

There are two shrines, one in Sunshine plains, and one in Grave's Yard. They are inconspicuous, the Grave's Yard shrine is a maouselum of sorts. Here, you will find exceptionally strong Pokemon in the various rooms and spaces of this ancient land set high in the sky. If you are lucky, you may stumble on a Legend or two?

Bellossom summons tiny grassy shoots to materialize and grab hold of Garchomp, tugging him to the ground.
