As the next round begins, Arbiter begins muttering to himself in his sleep. Suddenly, he rockets forward with a closed pincer outstretched as he targets Tomo with a super-fast Bullet Punch. The Tangela slides backward perhaps a foot but doesn’t seem particularly dazed as he strikes with a Secret Power. The attack connects for minimal damage, all thanks to Arbiter’s Steely armour.
Arbiter: <-5 HP; -2 EP>
Tomo: <-3 HP; -5 EP>
Paralysis kicks in for poor Arbiter as he’s rendered immobile while Tomo, on the other hand, does a little dance. Suddenly, as the field basks in a warm glow, Tomo finds himself blessed with newfound agility. Cool!
Arbiter: <Can’t move!>
Tomo: <-4 EP>
Once again, Arbiter begins Sleep Talking. Suddenly, he explodes with a powerful Hyper Beam that launches Tomo way up into the air. While airborne, Tomo releases his own energy attack in the form of a second Secret Power at his slumbering enemy. Once again, it’s not particularly effective.

Arbiter suffers thanks to that pesky Leech Seed <-3 HP> which lightly heals Tomo <+3 HP>.
