As you get closer, you soon realize this pink shape is not a Jigglypuff at all, but a Happiny. Lame!

However, you've arrived at the rocky outcropping to the north. Boulders and stone formations comprise the landscape; as well, there appears to be a small mountain rising out of the earth. Here, various Rattatas and Spearows seem to make their homes here. You can see small burrowing holes in the stone where Jigglypuff may have entered.

Aikoku takes to the skies while you, Yami and Yurei begin peering into the holes. However, the openings are far too slim for you or any of your Pokemon to fit in and they are rather dark. You can't say how deep these little burrows run. Nonetheless, Yurei's superb snout does the trick: no sooner does she stick her face into one of the holes then she pulls it back out and nods. This confirms what you suspected.

"If that is the case," the Intelligence Maiden says, "then follow me."

The other Maidens, who had all been drawn by your conversation, follow as you return to the temple. You climb the steps up to the Judgment Shrine and soon stand beneath the massive statue of Arceus. The Maidens get to work, lighting ceremonial torches and sprinkling the ground with dried leaves. The Maidens sit in a circle with the Supreme Maiden at the head. She gestures for you and your Pokemon to stand in the middle of the circle, surrounded by everyone. At first, they simply sit there, eyes closed in silence, before the Supreme Maiden speaks in hushed tones.

"We stand with a Trainer wishing to seek the one with many names. Forest Guardian. Time Travel Pokemon. Serebii. Celebi. Today, beneath the gaze of Arceus, we offer six gifts to appease her."

Suddenly, the Water Maiden squirts a bit of water into the center of the circle at your feet while the new Earth Maiden kicks up a little sand. The Sky Maiden causes a small whirlwind as the Compassion Maiden places her egg in the middle as a blessing. Finally, the Strength Maiden shuffles forward and slams her tail against the marble and the Intelligence Maiden merely rests a spoon atop the rest. The Supreme Maiden nods.

"We summon Celebi on behalf of this Trainer, who, despite her humility, has demonstrated Compassion, Strength, Intelligence and an understanding of the complex relations between Earth, Water and Sky. Trainer, speak now, and stir Celebi from the rest of ages."

Along with those pretty rocks from earlier, Yami uses Illusion not only to create the appearance of food but also transforms himself into a Jigglypuff. However, the Illusion is only cosmetic and, though he looks to be little, he's actually far too big to fit into the little hole. Nonetheless, he waits outside and starts calling to Jigglypuff.

"Do you mind shutting up out there?" Jigglypuff shouts from inside. "I'm kind of in the middle of something at the moment!"

Suddenly, she adopts a frightening, bestial voice.

"You'll never escape from my lair, Roger! It's too late for you and your little friends! Bwahahaha!"

You and your Pokemon exchange some pretty decent what-the-hell looks.

Aikoku takes off and snaps a long branch off one of the nearby trees. Yurei spits a ball of flames at it and it ignites, giving off thick, grey smoke. Cleverly, you place the branch near the opening of Jigglypuff's burrow and get Aikoku to start fanning the smoke into the hole.

Suddenly, Jigglypuff starts shrieking from within.

"Fire!" she wails. "Fire! Fire!"

Quick as can be, she scurries out of her little hollow wearing the Bony Mask. Some rolled up pieces of paper in her hands brush against the flaming branch as she scurries out and they, too, catch on fire. She drops the papers and peers at them as they're quickly reduced to cinders.

Suddenly, she begins bawling uncontrollably.

You just caused me to burn up my only copy of Roger Bellsprout Meets the Terrible Skull-Faced Monster of Mt. Mortar (A Play in Two and a Half Acts)! And my audition is in an hour and I'm so unprepared and now I don't even have a script and I'm not going to get the part and..."

"Okay, so I'm auditioning for the role of the Skull-Faced Monster, hence the mask," she says, pointing at it helpfully. "You, Zoroark, will be reading the lines of our hero, Roger Bellsprout. Maybe you could use Illusion to help everyone look the part? And you, human, will be playing Jessica Maractus, his cunning and flirtatious love interest. Braviary, I want you to play Eddie J. Geodude, my cool, wise-cracking, ethnic sidekick. Oh, and Ninetales. Uhh. You can play a boulder. Or something."

Yurei shoots you an irritated look. She is not pleased.

"Okay, so we're at the part where Roger and Jessica are tied up in my cave and I'm about to eat y'all. Jessica is about to use her feminine wiles to trick the Skull-Faced Monster into letting her free. Okay, so when I give you the cue, just read the lines as they appear on the page. Got it, Jessica? The greenery only gets thicker as you progress. Shoots and vines entangle your feet as you continue into the dense forest. You can see a Ledyba buzzing between some trees and an Oddish wandering roughly fifteen feet ahead.
